I followed this blogger that raved about Emma's deli cornbeef cabbage being so good. The portions he had looked good. So I called on St. Patricks day for Corn-beef and cabbage but they already sold out by 12:30 and said they would have more in 2hours. So when I got my order at 2:30 I was disappointed with the portion. It was so small for $20 . They put it in this little small plastic container with barely any corn beef. The soda bread was horrible it was rye bread with raisins in it. I ended up throwing it out . We were lucky to have my wife's office send us food from Emma's, and only wish it was closer so we could go more often ourselves! The sandwiches were outstanding! Emma's deli has good food items. I was fond of the home fries but they do not look, taste or are cooked the way they use to. The quality of that particular item has gone down DRASTICALLY. The photos attached are what they use to look like. Now they look and taste like fried diced potatoes. I cannot recall a time when I was disappointed. Every time my food has been fresh, hot and tasty. Service is always good too. Employees are always friendly and patient. My most recent order was a BEC. If you know, you know. It had a good amount of bacon. Bagel was fresh, and toasted to my liking. Each bite had an even ratio of egg:bacon:cheese. I'll usually get breakfast delivered from here maybe once a month I enjoy it for a cheat meal but today will be the last. I make sure I write instructions where to turn and provide the gate code. The gps route showed the right route it's a 2 minute drive from the deli probably less. The driver passed the entrance I sent numerous messages you are going the wrong way but he refused to listen and while watching on the gps the car was stopped numerous times. It took 25 minutes and is now ice cold. I don't trust what he did with it. Wasted a $30.37 breakfast that is in the garbage now, the container was open as well. Normally that would just be a DoorDash problem but you get a text from the deli saying to give feedback from "the owner" so I wrote the same as above thinking they will call and offer another meal but no call so that feedback goes no where. As I said above normally that's the fault of DoorDash but I didn't get to pick who brings my food being I ordered from the deli app and the deli picks DoorDash. Came in here after going to the gym to fuel up. I ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich on a roll with pepper jack lettuce tomato and honey mustard. This combo is seriously *chefs kiss*. The food came out fast and the establishment is certainly clean. There are a variety of options for sandwiches or salads, as well as making your own. I thought the sandwich was huge and tasted really good and fresh. Something to note is that it hardly fell apart so that's how you know it was a really good sandwich! The only thing I would suggest is not placing heavy food items on top of lighter food items when you package the delivery food. My over easy egg sandwich was smashed by the 2 heavy turkey hero's I ordered. I had to throw the egg sandwich away. It was completely soaked in yolk and stuck to the paper. After work I felt a bit hungry so I went to Emma's to grab some breakfast before going home. I really was craving a nice Belgian Waffle with sausage. Unfortunately I did not enjoy my breakfast. It felt like a lesson learned for me and a deterrence from ever going to this establishment again. It's unfortunate because their so busy so I told my self it must be great. Nope this breakfast was a fail. First they don't make fresh waffles. Why would you sell me warmed up already packaged waffles and put them in a tray with tasteless sausage links. It's beyond me. Those already made packaged waffles has sometime type of coding and it was so caky that i couldn't swallow it with out washing it down with my coffee and then I developed an upset stomach. I was devastated but I knew expressing my feeling to staff their wouldn't matter because I know how work gets when your busy and your catching up. But I hope someone reads this and just simply just don't ever sell those prepackaged waffles again it is very sad and disgusting how you would give that disgustingness to a customer. I just took a new job in the area a d was looking for a place for breakfast. They popped on Google so I figured I'd give then a shot. As a Brooklyn Jew, I know good deli's, this one isn't good, it's great! Prices are on par with other delis but the quality of their ingredients is above and beyond the others! I've never had anything I've been disappointed in here. The staff is friendly and out going and the girl at the counter is always a beautiful sight to see in the morning! Place was really quite delicious. Bagel had the amount of cream cheese I would expect from a deli, they do not short you at all; provide a (7.9) for it. The egg sandwich was very tasty, provide a score of (8.4). What I like about this deli is that it is very very clean and there are some plants growing near the window next to sitting area in back side, also a couple holiday ornaments to keep it festive. I had walked into Emma's deli on a Monday around noon. I saw a short line and thought id be quick and easy in and out. After looking at their choice of panini's and waiting, my order was placed after 15 minutes. Employees were bombarded with to go orders. An additional 15 minutes waiting for the order to be made and bagged. Drove straight home in town less than mile away open my order to find a luke warm stale grilled panini bread that crumbled when bit, chewy bacon, and a load of barbecue sauce that was very unpleasing.
