They have paid attention to every single detail in this space. All employees that we encountered were terrific. They are very helpful & knowledgeable of their menus/offerings. Even ordering through the website is super easy. They are very attentive & are wonderful at communication. Obviously, they specialize in tasty gourmet popcorn. There's even a sample area where you can try some flavors. The flavor options are endless... like you will be overwhelmed trying to pick. There is a sampler option so you can try a little of every flavor. They have little Sundae Cups & varied party tray sizes that would be such a lovely hostess gift or a special something to add to a buffet style gathering. They would even be such a wonderful dessert to take to a gathering. Gourmet flavors & something unique that all will enjoy together. There are tons of other treats throughout to purchase as well: pretzels, donuts, biscotti, dips, various condiments... the list goes on. Anything would make such a good gift for any occasion. I have been bulk ordering from Emma's for years! I set up a teacher appreciation popcorn bar every May for my school. The staff get very excited as they absolutely love the flavor combos & the quality of the popcorn is superior. It's great to buy it in bulk & to be able to have it fit in any theme/display you have planned (I use large planters & sand shovels as scoops). This is the first time I have stepped foot in the actual retail space after ordering from them for over 10+ years. I am so glad I picked up the order this year & was able to see the retail space. I've loved gourmet popcorn since I Was old enough to eat popcorn. My favorite use to be Popcorn Palace. Then I discovered Emma's! The variety of flavors is incredible and I wanted it for my Birthday. My friend ordered me a 3.5 gallon tin. I ordered the Carmel, Cheese, and Peanut Butter Oreo. I was so happy with the freshness, taste, and quality of this yummy dessert. My favorite is the CARMEL. It's so delicious. My favorite Carmel of all time. Me and my family loved it so much i had to order another tin. This time I tried the Parmesan Cheese, Carmel of coarse and Dark Chocolate Carmel. Came here for the first time with hubby late morning. We took advantage of their Black Friday special of buy $50 and get a free crepe. What's hot - Crepery. Their crepes are pretty good. We ordered their blackberry crepe, which comes with cheesecake filling, Nutella and caramel. Their crepes aren't thick or too sweet. Based on what I could see, the fruits they use are fresh fruits. Additionally, it looks like they recently added savory crepes to their menu, like bacon and eggs. - Ice creamery. There's an ice creamery next door to their popcorn shop, which is pretty nice. Their food court, where you can buy savory items, including full meals, even has bubble tea as an option! The ice creamery also includes a shop, with a sundry of items, ranging from baked sweet treats, sauces, meats, jams, jellies, pickles, etc... - Free samples. There are a decent number of free samples available for you to try, which certainly helps you choose the flavors you might be interested in buying. In addition to free popcorn samples, there were a couple samples of dip and of their sweet bark. Hubby and I bought a few flavors from the samples we tried, because they were the unusual flavors, like white peppermint popcorn, sweet cheddar, sweet and salty garlic popcorn, and Asiago. - Flavors. Numerous flavors, including some that aren't very common, like Oreo peanut butter tuxedo, sweet and salty garlic, and several others. Nice variety. - Popcorn buckets. If you buy their popcorn tins/buckets, you can get refills of their popcorn at their bulk price, which might be good value for money, but it depends on the flavors you buy. What's not - Location. It's kind of out of the way, but it depends on where you're coming from. Additionally, the address on this Yelp page (as of the date of this review) is incorrect. If you're purposely making a trip to come here, put in the store name in Google Maps. Do not use the address listed on this Yelp page. I've submitted an edit to Yelp, but until it changes, be aware that the address on this page is wrong. - Prices. Their prices aren't so bad, but it depends on the flavor and size of the popcorn that you buy. Some flavors, like caramel, might not be worth it. For example. Some of the large size popcorn bags may be approximately $8, but could be a little over $10. Something to be aware of. - Not made in-house. It appears all their stock, including their popcorn, is shipped in from somewhere else, including their popcorn. Kinda disappointing. The store is located in Gordonville, Lancaster County, nestled amongst Amish farmlands, so if driving some distance along pretty country roads doesn't appeal to you, save yourself the effort and order on-line. Emma's has terrific curb appeal. The building is new, attractive and flawlessly maintained, There is a huge parking lot. The site includes a large, well-stocked popcorn store, ice cream shop and separate restaurant that provides breakfast, lunch and dinner. I hope to experience the restaurant next time. Emma's popcorn shop is something else -- clean as a whistle and loaded with all kinds of treats, not just popcorn in endless flavor concoctions. Timid tasters might want to start with butter-flavored popcorn. It's marvelous and equal to the best that I've prepared at home over the course of half a century. Endless gourmet varieties of popcorn in various sizes guarantee pleasure. No flavor profile is disappointing and some of the varieties are equal to artwork for how pretty they look. Whether sweet or savory, every concoction here is a winner. Prices are terrific compared to how unique, complex, tasty and good looking are the preparations. Customer service is excellent, too. It surprised me to discover that Emma's carries many other products, such as shoo fly pie (it's delicious!), candies, crackers, spreads and more. I'm addicted to their chocolate coffee bean candies! There's also a creperie inside of the store. My final word is a note of praise to Emma, the gifted woman whose name is emblazoned above this store and on every bag of tasty treats. #1 BEST KEPT SECRET IN LANCASTER. I live around the corner and frequent the store often. I only buy right from the store but they do distribute to a lot of stores around central PA. It's great that you can taste a lot of the flavors before buying. They also do a nice job at gift packages and ship for you. We went to Emma's popcorn today and were immediately impressed when we walked in the door. There's a creperie inside as well as the popcorn store. It's all decorated beautifully and shopping around looking at all the creative flavors was a lot of fun. They have flavors like key lime pie, blueberry, sriracha, and more. They also have delicious dips and different flavored pretzels. I was very full from eating ice cream next door or I would've bought everything in sight. The flavors we did try were very tasty. However, the best thing about this place is the kindness of the people who work there. My daughter reached out to get a lollipop that was in a glass jar and accidentally knocked it over. She cut her foot on a piece of glass and made quite a mess. Luckily she was okay and we apologized for the mess, but she felt very bad and embarrassed and was crying a lot. We went outside to get her calmed down and all the workers in the store rushed after us to check in her and offer bandaids and console her. They were so sweet. The owner herself even came out and talked to my daughter and helped console her and was so kind and understanding. We felt so bad that we made a huge mess and they just cared about making sure our kid was okay. We will never forget their kindness! read more

These women make all their popcorn right at their house and an abundance of different flavors that range from key lime to salt and vinegar.... this place is heaven. Also, the prices there can NOT be beat, a 10oz bag of popcorn was $5.00. Now when you arrive there do not be discouraged when you don't see a store that says "Emma's Popcorn," you have to turn into a farm type house and go over the hill, at the bottom you will see parking next to a barn and a small sign that says "Emma's Popcorn" next to a small tree.
