Went here mid-December. Tried the pandan cream ice latte, spicy Buldak ramen corn dog with mozzarella, and Christmas Tree mochi donut. The latte and pandan cream tasted great, but the latte basically overpowered the cream when it was mixed together. The corn dog was also really good and very messy. The stick wouldn't stay in because of the cheese. The panko/ramen coating made it pretty much impossible to cut with a plastic knife if you want to avoid sticky hands from the Buldak sauce. The mochi donut was fine, but I think they fry it in the same oil that the corn dogs are fried in because they had a similar taste. The density (I guess?) is lighter than the donuts from Mochinut. The alternative or goth (Couldn't remember which) cashier should probably be working in the back instead. She didn't smile or greet me when I came in, still didn't when I smiled and greeted her, and still no response when I thanked her - like man throw me a bone here. read more

It's apparent this place is based off of viral Asian fads. The food is the least appetizing I've ever had. Child was dying for the corn dog, which she ate, but it's definitely just a corn dog. Elote fries, disgusting. Make your own ramen by picking your own bagged ramen, paying for toppings, & cooking it on a hot plate. Your flavor is in the ramen packets. If you've eaten Vietnamese , you would know flavor comes from true unique sauces & spices. Your better off trying real Vietnamese food down the street at Henry's or Kein Gang. The bathroom needed some upkeep, deep cleaning, no trash bag. Claw machines are money eaters for SHEIN toys. Service was fine, young girl working register. read more

Very curious little spot! Emma's Mochi Donuts*Desserts & More is definitely different from your average dessert shop. When you walk in, there's a whole wall of ramen you can mix and match to make yourself, plus shelves of Asian snacks and a menu full of other items. But I went straight for the mochi donuts. I tried the 3 for $9 option. The donuts are fun--kind of a cross between a fried donut and a beignet, with that chewy mochi texture in the middle. They're light, slightly crisp on the outside, and definitely more of a novelty treat than your standard glazed donut. The vibe is cute and playful. I could see kids really loving the colors, snacks, and overall uniqueness of the place. It feels like a fun stop to try something different rather than a go-to donut shop. There are a couple of people working behind the counter making everything. The line can get really long. Parking is adequate. There are several Asian food opportunities next to each other. Emmay is a brand new place in D'Iberville, located next door to Quickly in the strip of stores near the Grand Theater. The sign out front says Mochi Donuts, Desserts & More, and let me tell you the "& More" part is extensive. Too much, really - like their prices. This place also has a claw machine arcade, amounting to a few dozen claw machines where you have to buy tokens at $1 apiece, then use the claw to try and pick up various plastic or plush toys. We all know these machines are randomized so the arcade is really more of a casino, because it's a gamble every time you play. We spent $6 and of course got nothing, but neither did anyone else we saw playing. It is bright and colorful in there, which was kind of neat. There are two walls full of menus, with multiple combinations and flavors. It's a ramen bar with tons of options, an ice cream (gelato) shop with $12 mixed milkshakes, a coffee shop with corn dogs, and a bunch of other stuff. And they have ONE person taking orders. We tried the mochi donuts, getting a half dozen with one of each flavor for $16.50. The donuts were covered in different toppings like icing, chocolate, and cereal, but they were cold and didn't seem freshly made. They are made with rice flour so they are a bit chewy and dense, which I really liked. Pretty expensive, though. I also had an iced coffee which was good, but cost like $8. After taxes and a tip, we spent almost $30 on some cold donuts and one coffee. Maybe things will smooth out once the newness wears off, but Emmay just wasn't for me. They badly need to get a second register going and work out some of their processes. To be as busy as they were, the guy working the register should not also have to go bag up donuts. I was very disappointed with my experience. My family spent over $100 on the claw machines and only won one small plush and a few inexpensive resin trinkets that were not worth the amount we spent. The claw machines seem to have very weak grips, making it extremely difficult to win. If you want customers to return, it would be worth adjusting the claw strength so people have a fair chance and leave feeling satisfied rather than frustrated. We also ordered four drinks, and they took over 30 minutes to prepare. Unfortunately, the drinks were underwhelming. My drink was missing the boba, and when I pointed it out, I was asked if I wanted the boba blended into the drink, which was surprising since boba is normally served whole, not blended. Overall, the customer service was poor, the wait time for drinks was excessive, and the claw machines need significant improvement. I've visited many claw arcades, and this was by far my least enjoyable experience. Sadly, I won't be returning. read more

This is my first time as a customer coming here, and I have to say that the place was very nice and clean. I came here for the mochi donuts which were very tasty. Better than other places that I've had. I will definitely be back to try other flavors soon. The store also has claw machines on the other side and they have drinks, ice cream, and other foods like Korean corn dogs! Customer service was a 2-10 and that's being generous. We ordered 5 donuts and for some reason every person who ordered after us received their donuts (already made donuts) before myself and the two children who were with me. It was only after paying for a milkshake and selecting a flavor that I was told the one we had already paid for they didn't have. Wasn't offered a refund, just asked what other flavor we wanted. NOW, on to the claw machines. Pretty much the only reason we visited this place was from seeing videos on TikTok of the claw machines and let me tell you. Every single one of them are a guaranteed loss. We tried almost every machine desperately trying to get my nieces something from one of them and not a single one properly grasped anything in them. Most machines are $1 a play and some didn't even work and took our coins. If they want people to return I would make the games a little more enjoyable and let at least a few win. The overall aesthetic of the place was. 10/10 but the potential is being wasted. read more

I know this place opened recently but you'd think they would have it under better control by now. They don't have any set hours, either the drink machine or donut fryer is always down, it took 30+ mins to get to the cashier to order because they have one person taking orders and make the customer stand there while they fulfill your order. So everyone behind you has to wait while they make drinks, food etc... it's very slow... the claw machines look cool, but with the non chalant attitude of their staff who knows how long they'll last... read more

Let me save you the time: do NOT go to Emmay. This place isn't just rude -- it's openly hateful. During my visit, a staff member had the audacity to call me a racial slur and make comments about my weight -- loudly, to my face, like it was perfectly acceptable behavior. I was humiliated and stunned. Who talks to people like that in 2025? The answer: apparently Emmay does. And judging by how casual they were about it, I doubt this was the first time. Aside from the completely unacceptable verbal abuse, the food was forgettable at best -- soggy, oily donuts with zero flavor or care. But honestly, even if they served five-star cuisine, it wouldn't matter. No decent human being should support a business that treats people like garbage. They're not just rude -- they're racist, fatphobic, and cruel. Full stop. Avoid this place like the plague. And if you've experienced something similar, speak up. Love this place! So happy to have more places like this on the coast! Its sad to hear some haven't had the best experiences, but thats never been the case with me or my family. If its really busy it takes a little longer but normally it takes about 10-15 minutes. Service is good, and I like the atmosphere! read more
