True to my word We came back this trip 5-13-2026 and 5-16-2026 ! We will be back in July :) This is the BEST place to eat breakfast in Biloxi hands down! **Come early preferably before they open**It's another place that gets super busy quick!! Is it even a proper vacation in Biloxi if you don't give this place a visit for breakfast? The answer is NO !! When your motto is It's never too early to get toasted!! You are talking my language and that's how you start a proper vacation day:) We left Alabama in the wee hours of the morning to get here before they opened. We ordered at 7:04 am . A grapefruit mimosa for me and two Irish coffees for my husband and son. My son pretty much gets the same thing everytime an Arnold . This time it was a West coast Arnold w/ hash brown casserole . He ate it up!! I got the Dragon fruit pancakes 2 pc . Man one pancake was plenty and yes they are as big as the plate. Hubbie got the pork chop breakfast . On the 16th (our leave day) I got the (2)Strawberry Hibiscus Spritz and my son got a Cappuccino cooler. Hubs had to drive back home so he just got a coffee. Hubbie got the chicken and waffles , I got the yolk lovers breakfast with cheese grits ( When you are in the South Grits must be eaten at least one meal of the day) and my son got his Southwest Arnold again lol! My son looked at his mug and said I want one . Yes they sell them for 31.99 eek a bit high for my blood but He bought it himself. He has been using it everyday since We got back home. He said He will probably buy another in July. It's a solid breakfast place and enjoyable if you get here before the crowds. Down in Biloxi, where the Gulf breeze rolls easy and the mornings come in sweet, The Toasted Yolk Cafe stays buzzin'. Place is so packed you might circle the lot like a vulture but that's how you know it's hittin'. I rolled in with my daughter from Keesler Air Force Base, right after a rainstorm cleared out and left us with blue skies and just-right weather. First time in Biloxi, and it showed off. Ordered the Southern Fried Arnold and the West Coast Arnold both straight-up breakfast royalty. Crispy, stacked, and full of flavor. Mimosas? Legendary. Had a couple... maybe a few more... and was just gettin' warmed up. Service was quick and friendly, place was clean as a whistle, and everything ran smooth. Great service didn't take long to get seated on a Friday morning. Feels very modern when you walk in you don't feel like you are in an old home. Had their banana fried banana peppers for an appetizer and their cowboy casserole scramble. Both I would recommend if you are tying to get food to eat there and to go! I also had a bite of pancakes and they were delicious a bit dry but never eat pancakes without a drink near by! Spent roughly $50, All in all great please to get a bite to eat! read more

The Toasted Yolk in Biloxi is a solid breakfast spot. It was pretty packed when we showed up, but the atmosphere was still great and the service was super fast and friendly. I had the Nashville hot chicken and biscuit with a side of cheese grits--everything was flavorful and the portions were decent. We also ordered an omelet and a kids' French toast meal that came with a drink and their choice of bacon or sausage. A huge plus for our family was that they offer turkey and chicken sausage options, which you don't always find. Definitely a great value for the money and we'll be back! read more

We finally got in!! We tried before but it was super crowded so this time it was a Monday and we got a seat! The hostess greeted us and seated us quickly. Our server was Serenity. Beautiful girl with a sweet personality. Very friendly, treated us like she already knew us. She was really attentive also. We also met Mike (the mgr) and he was amazing. He visited the table, full of conversation and really went the extra mile with customer service. I ordered the avocado bread, which was tasty. My egg was cooked perfectly (over medium). I found the bread a little thin, but it was still tasty. It had the pico de gallo on it and it came with a salad. My husband ordered the omelet and grits with wheat toast. We had coffee also. The mugs are big. They gave me the donuts which were sweet and delicious and the warm caramel sauce is scrumptious! Definitely a place to visit. On the way back home from our trip we stopped by for breakfast there was a bit of a wait but nothing too bad for a Saturday morning. Our server Melody was very attentive to our table and made sure we got everything we needed. Although there were a few confusions with tables and tickets we got everything we needed and more in the end. We got a few things to try off the menu and everything was delicious the pancakes were by far the best pancakes I've ever had and there were huge! We also got some brisket tacos and the southwestern Arnold which were both very very good we definitely recommend trying this place out if you are near the area. On our fourth trip to The Toasted Yolk, located across the street from Keesler Park (Home of the shuckers), I decided it was time to leave a review. The Good: The food here is very, VERY good. I've had the southern fried Arnold, the deluxe breakfast, and now the double decker omelette (pictured). The omelette is a four egg omelette with cheese, bacon, ham, sausage, onion, and jalapeño. The biscuit was a bit hard on the outside, but I believe that's the intent as that has been the case each trip. The cheese grits (additional charge) were good but a little overhyped. The coffee, served in adorable mugs, is really good coffee and a welcomed change from our hotel coffee. Food was served warm and did not have the heat lamp vibe found in other breakfast chains. The server we had this last time was very good at her craft. She was very attentive, nice, and personable, despite the hectic crowd and what appeared to be less-than-energetic fellow staff. The menu has a little something for everyone to choose from. Customizable options and good descriptions made it very easy to choose the meal. The MEH: While nothing was "bad", there were a few things we didn't enjoy. Please note, though, these were not enough to bring it down from a 5-star review. The first: PARKING. The lot across the street is apparently meant for The Toasted Yolk however, it is also the handicapped lot for Gameday at Keesler Park. This is an issue because the spaces are poorly marked, most have handicapped signage/paint, and it's difficult to determine what spots are legal/illegal to park. The only other issue: waitlist. We jumped in on the waitlist and were 3rd in line. The issue, 15 minutes later we arrived and were still 3rd in line. When the hostess finally appears, there are people pouring out of the front door and we realize the restaurant is not using waitlist. Not a big deal except the horde of people at the front lobby was a bit disconcerting. Again, not the end of the world, just worth noting. OVERALL: this place remains a favorite when we travel to the MS Coast. Great breakfast spot with tons of options. I would recommend this as a breakfast/brunch stop to all in the Biloxi/Gulfport/Ocean Springs area. read more

I decided to stop by on a whim and so glad I did. I ordered the salmon salad and a random bowl of grits. I guess I couldn't decide if I wanted lunch or breakfast. This place is pretty much a dressed up version of Denny's or IHOP. Which isn't a knock on it, more just setting expectations for atmosphere. It's also quite loud, so probably wouldn't recommend a party with small children. Again, not a knock, just an observation. Food was good if perhaps under seasoned, which is my only complaint when it comes to my Arnold. Portion size was fantastic! I was just a bit surprised by the lack of seasoning with the gravy and the breading of the chicken. Hashbrowns were super good! My wife got a Greek Chicken Salad she said was wonderful. Blueberry donuts were tasty. Our server looked like Tom Holland. I didn't catch his name so I'll just refer to him as Tom. He was excellent. Despite it being very busy, he came to our table constantly. Furthermore, our food got out in incredibly good time. I enjoyed our experience so much that I'll go from a 4 star to a 5 star despite the lack of seasoning. Might have just been a rare dud on my food's end. Tasty bites and delicious coffee. I am glad I checked online before just heading over to the restaurant. Available "join the wait list" options that I HIGHLY urge you to join before heading to this POPULAR restaurant. The Toasted Yolk Cafe did not disappoint. Descriptive menu with photos helped a lot. We went with 2 different "Arnolds" aka Benedicts, that were actually pretty similar, the fried chicken size was the only difference. Our daughter had the brisket tacos, heavy on the onions was the only complaint she had. We opted for the Churro Style Donuts and boy were they a perfect end to an amazing brunch. I highly recommend this restaurant, just be prepared to wait. Even joining the wait list (prior to departing our resort, 10 mins away) and then checking in upon arrival, on a Sunday around 1030am, we were 14th in line and waited around 45 mins to an hour to be seated inside. They do offer no wait, bar seating and outdoor seating (first come basis, just ask). Staff was very attentive and readily available. It was a tad louder than anticipated but expected with so many people wanting to dine at this place. Well seasoned shrimp/gravy, bacon is cut into squares in the gravy, and it did give a nice crisp to the meal. The tortilla chips that come with the meal, they will git a bit soggy if you don't get to them right away. The only change I would like, a poached egg The staff is attentive, manager making the rounds to check on things. The place can get busy by 8:30-9am on the weekends, so sitting at the bar might be best for 3 people or less, and there isn't a lot of parking - so plan accordingly read more

A bit of a drive to get here and unfortunately I didn't take a picture of our food. We ordered one pancake (yes, just one) and a Big Ben. The size of the pancake was very big and fluffy. Southern style Benedict, I gotta give a 3/5 because the chicken was a little thick. Had they pounded it out and a little thinner, this would've been a mind blowing dish and easily 5/5 Wife ordered the breakfast sandwich on a croissant consisting of egg, sausage, and bacon jam. Unfortunately, the croissant required a knife to be cut, with difficulty. Hate to say it, but I'm pretty sure it was finished in a microwave or had sat around for a long time. My coworker and I went for breakfast and were greeted by the hostess with a big smile. She brought us to our table where our waitress was waiting with a big smile! What a great way to start the day! I opted for the Avacado Toast with fruit as a side, and she ordered The Toasted Yolk breakfast. We both had coffee and commented at the same time how good the coffee was. We got on the wait list online 30 minutes before arriving and when we got here they told us it does not count even though the last time we were here we were treated right and they acknowledged that we were indeed on the wait list in advance. Food was phenomenal! My husband ordered beef brisket scramble and the I ordered the Alaskan scramble. Both were delicious and would definitely get again after saving some money up. Only downside was when we ordered a side of a chocolate chip pancake it was definitely made weird and the bottom side of the pancake was incomplete and so it was a little difficult to cut up for my kids to eat since it just crumbled. Thankfully it still tasted delicious! Whatever chocolate they used was yummy. Gravy was eh.
