I ordered a couple of panini sandwiches and was not disappointed. I knew the place was busy from the full parking lot, so I decided to stay in the car and just use drive-through. The drive-through went pretty smoothly and quickly. I ordered a bacon Panini and a ham and cheese Panini choosing my cheese and bread choices of cheddar and croissant. I promptly got my order and was happy with the amount and quality of the sandwiches. This place is two doors down from a McDonald's but be sure to keep going until you get here. It is so much better. The coffee is great but both paninis I've tried are terrible. The bacon croissant one I got at work was extremely dry and the bacon is worse than McDonald's bacon, it's the cheapest you can order comparable to what you'd get in a school cafeteria. Today I got the London broil for my husband and they slathered it in the horseradish sauce, really no need for that much sauce it made it soggy and overpowering, and we like horseradish. I'm very regretful today spending almost $30 after tip for one inedible sandwich and two coffees. I'd reccomend just sticking to their coffee read more

We stopped in to get something to eat away from the chaos of Cruisin the Coast. The staff was so friendly and helpful with suggestions. We both ordered the Chicken and Bacon with potato salad. Great staff and good coffee. Had the reuben with potato salad which was good. The cappuccino was ok and the frozen jolly mon was delicious. Reminiscent of some coconut candy. Just needs to be blended a little better as big pieces of ice. Nice place but sucks your only exit is through the drive thru lane which means you might have to wait if someone is there. read more

Okay, yes this is a COFFEE shop. If you are expecting Starbucks drinks that are more sugar and a drop of coffee you will probably have to express that to the barista, otherwise you will get a true coffee! I ordered an iced coffee with a pump of SF mocha and also a hot drip coffee. Both were great, their coffee is wonderful! I also tasted my dad's americano, AMAZING. My brother and husband don't really drink coffee so to them it wasn't their kind of spot. Regardless it has a wonderful environment to socialize with friends. P.S. THEY HAVE A DRIVE THRU!!!! We didn't end up trying it although. I still want to give it a try because it has very good reviews. I always try to support local business when I can especially since I'm from the beautiful Mississippi gulf coast . That being said , the reason why I didn't choose this spot is because the waitress was pretty rude actually she was very rude . Everybody has bad days I get it but, she was super unwelcoming ,short-no effort to try whatsoever to make a place for us and actually ended up hanging up on me. I was trying to find a good little meeting place for my family (8) people to all meet up and say by to my sister and get coffee before she left for Washington . I'm sure it's a good local spot that super convenient and close to I 12 so I'll probably stop in and try some coffee sometime when I'm in the area . We did, however, end up going to The Toasted yolk, and it was very accommodating on short notice easy online booking etc..It is a chain but, was just seven miles further and pretty easy access from I12 . This cute cafe is right off Cedar Lake exit in Biloxi. Staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. I've tried many things on their menu and always happy with it. Inside is tall ceilings, comfy chairs with a giant fireplace. Sometimes can be busy but small line moves very quickly. read more

Shop/support local. The Grind Coffee and Nosh has been my choice for lunch lately. They offer a somewhat healthier menu with awesome quick service. I do not drink coffee, but the drive through is usually loaded up with folks getting their morning fix. They also do offer local beer on tap. During the colder months, they keep the fireplace going to make it cozy inside. They also offer free WiFi to those who dine in. Yelp suggested this little gem of a coffee shop and it was a good start to the day! Easy to find, plenty of parking, lots of various seating from couch and comfy chairs to tables. Most of the patrons seemed self absorbed and were playing/"working" on their phones or laptops. One orders at the counter. The staff seemed to be friendlier to the younger folks that already knew what they wanted than us ancient dinosaurs that didn't have a clue. My iced tea, sour dough, cheddar, sausage, egg sandwich was good. I think a tomato and mayo would have juiced it up a bit, but it was quite good and easy for those trying to eat and type. The thin apple slices were a nice touch. The portion size was filling. Price is somewhat high in my opinion. Absolutely do not get the iced tea, blech! read more

I went to The Grind today to give it a shot, and I was underwhelmed. The medium coffee was good, but the food was poor. The scones are not made fresh and are not heated up when ordered. The breakfast panini was bland and had no flavor, although it had egg, cheddar, and bacon. I do not believe they were using freshly cooked bacon as when I took a bite of the bacon, even it had no flavor. As for service, the lady at the counter was very nice and helpful. I decided to call to let them know their bacon was likely old, and the lady on the phone was curt and did not apologize or offer to correct the situation. She did say she'd look into it. The shop itself is cute, and I love that it is run by a prior military couple. My advice to the coffee shop is to use fresher ingredients, and increase the quality of the breakfast panini. read more
