I appreciated the effort, but the second steak was just as tough. It looked like a different cut, but it was still nearly impossible to chew. To their credit, they gave me a discount, which I appreciated. However, I still ended up paying for food I couldn't eat. I left hungry and had to go somewhere else for lunch after spending about 50 minutes there. The service was polite, but the quality of the meat was unacceptable, especially for a restaurant that promotes itself as one of the best.

For food we each did the Prix Fixe which lets you choose an appetizer, entree, and dessert. For appetizers we got the Chileatole and the Anticuchos. For entrees I got the Grass-Fed Skirt Steak and my boyfriend got the Pato en Mole Poblano. For dessert we both got the Bread Pudding. I thought the Prix Fixe was a good deal for the quantity and quality of food. Everything was prepared fresh and tasted delicious. Favorite bites were the Chileatole soup and the Skirt Steak.
