    Picada Colombiana (blood sausage)

My friend raves about this place's pizza. I didn't know it was green plantain based crust, which I was a fan of bc i love tostones. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Rice is nicely flavored and its a quaint cutesy place very intimate with a friendly server.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She was kind and check up on us often. My guac for the table was loved by my cousin but for me i prefer them chunkier. I would get it spicier for next time but the table prefers mild. Our group's favorite of the options was the ajiaco (soup), the chicken was nicely shredded and the corn and potato has such good flavor, the pot itself was super conveniently homey vibe. Picada was nicely fried w a various of pork and beef, yuca fried was nice and the blood sausage has a very juicy flavor with yummy rice bits which all blends very well with a side of avocado and soupppp. A little side salad came with the patacon pizza, and there was unlimited amount of sauce i think its ketchupmayo taste good w fried meats. The carne asada camerones with the creamy sauce and spinach tomatoes was a cute entree to share. The juice was freshly made.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great atmosphere, food, and service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got the beef empanadas which were pretty good but my favorite was the chicken Milanese which comes with a side of rice, fries, and beans. Definitely get the soursop drink.

Heard about this spot through IG and had to try the pernil a la cerveza! It was so good! Tender and savory. I love Colombian food and usually make my judgement based on how the bandeja paisa tastes but I had to try their ajiaco (most places don't offer it or only on certain days) it was good! Service was kind and quick. Ambiance is friendly. Drinks were strong and delicious! The mojito with aguardiente was a yummy touch. I would make the drive out to try their food!

Forget Sábado gigante. Hello Feliz viernes! The best Colombian comfort foods and drinks with complimentary shots of Aguardiente courtesy of the house for every guest. Stay an hour, stay forever. There's no pressure to settle up and leave anytime soon, but you won't want to either!

Brooklyn is not know for good Colombian food. I have ordered from Bogota Latin Bistro consistently only because I've dined there and its decent. I decided to order from Colombian in park slope and was disappointed. Paid $70 for a Bandeja paisa with Morchilla, which it self pretty good but the rest... it was just OK. The steak was tiny. The food tasted good and was well seasoned, but the Chicharrón just looks so sad. I think I prefer Bogotá Latin bistro better as their Bandeja paisa seems superior than this place.

The staff here is really what earned the 5th star. I was between 4 and 5 - the food is very good, but I can be fairly stingy with my 5s as true mind blowing food is rare - but the staff is just so friendly and wonderful here it absolutely merits that final star. The staff is attentive and friendly. You can tell they go out of their way to make it a good experience for you. I had the mini empanadas, which were wonderful - definitely get them with the check in order. I also had the bandeja paisa, which to be honest, I think the bandeja paisa in the USA was better than the actual bandejas paisa I had in Medellín lol. Something about the ones in Colombia - I don't love how they cook their chicharron, tbh, but the chicharron here was good and the rest of the items on the platter were very tasty. I definitely enjoyed it and look forward to returning!

Friendly staff. Bang for buck food (9$ empanada, 21$ bistec) - corn empanadas, the green sauce was spicy, and the yellow sauce was a mayo. - the beef was delicious and it came with beans. nice ambiance. - comfortable seating.

We grabbed a regular bandeja paisa and and a mini one and even the mini one was a huge portion! The chicharron was my favorite! Meaty and golden to perfection. The beans were also very good. We asked for a bucket of beer and we only received six cold beer with no bucket. Ik they may have ran out of buckets due to the amount of people ordering it, but at least mentioning it before or explaining it once they put the beers on our table. We also asked for the check 10 minutes before the game ended, and we just saw the waitress walking back and forth into the kitchen and out of it. Finally, she took a glance over our table and remembered we asked for it. Waitress at this restaurant should be better trained and have a better synchronized system with the tvs. Not recommended if you're going to see a sports game.
