This food was SO GOOD! I got the guac lover's meal with one Tinga and one Beef & Cheese! The strawberry lemonade was so refreshing! I love the little details on the empanadas! Each one says "Empanadas BG" and then two initials for the flavor (which is great if you get multiple different kinds). Great local family service! I always felt like Food Trucks were just odd. Not sure I wanted to eat out of a moving vehicle, reminding me of the carnival maybe? Get over it. A friend talked me into it and, in the words of The Monkees, I'm a Believer. These fried empanadas are warm and crunchy and full of flavor. We got the Chili Colorado, Tinga, Frijoles Puercos and the Papa. You can see what is included in each one on the menu so I won't bore you. Any can't go wrong. The potatoes are soft the meat is tasty and the chicken is cooked just right. But let me just say, the Cranberry Chipotle salsa is just incredible. The Mango Habanero is good but nothing like the former. Do yourself a favor and find this truck. They usually hang out behind Rian's Fatted Calf but look them up on Facebook when you get the craving. read more

I ordered the Carne con Queso empanada a la carte ($4.50) with mango habanero dipping sauce per their recommendation and horchata ($4) and all of it was delicious!! The empanada was a little spicier than anticipated but I'm all about spicy food so I loved it and the mango dipping sauce added a little sweetness so it toned down the spice (as did the sweet horchata)-- I was satisfied with one empanada but they are not large! I am obsessed w/ this food truck. I always get an iced horchata coffee, & the papas & chicken tinga empanadas combo w/ cranberry chipotle salsa. Literally the best food in BG. Sometimes if I know where the truck is going to be, I'll structure my daily walk to pass by the truck so I can grab a horchata coffee instead of a fancy coffee shop drink- they're that good.
