First time coming here and it's easy to find with lots of parking. You walk right in and it's very clean and modern, then you walk up to the counter and put in your order in the tablet. It prints out your number and they hand you your drink cups to self serve. The food itself was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! I love the bowls here but I hate that I can't sub an item without an upcharge! Staff are great and even apologetic when they have to tell you that you can't sub. Also disappoint in the removal of the screens that provided visuals for the status of your order-as an individual with a hearing loss that was a nice accommodation in a place with a lot of background noise and poor acoustics. The burgers were absolutely delicious!! I got the bison burger and my wife got the regular cheeseburger made with wagyu beef. Both were juicy and extremely flavorful!! The options were on point as well for add one to your burgers and the sides were just as delicious!! We also saw the milkshakes that others got and wished we ordered one because they looked heavenly!!! The food was served promptly and made perfectly!! The staff was super friendly as well. Burger and Bowl is locally owned by a guy who has a few other restaurants. His idea of food, cooking and presentation is spot on across all of his eateries. This chicken sandwich was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The pickle adds just a touch of tart and the sauce adds a little zest. Great crunch and cooked just right. I'd eat this all the time. Gives the chicken fil-et a run for their money. Also, the Parmesan & Herb fries are a great addition to the meal! We stopped here on a Sunday around noon on our way to Cumberland Falls for a quick bite. Even though it was a busy place it was easy to order, and it was a short wait time. I ordered the Icon Cheeseburger Single while my partner ordered the Classic Patty Melt. We agreed these were some of the best burgers we've had. We also ordered sweet potato fries which were also yummy. My only complaint is that it was really noisy, but again it was a busy Sunday. If we're ever in the area again, we'll stop by. read more

Lunchtime was busy as expected. Food didn't take long. I ordered the plain double burger with American cheese and a fried egg. Also ordered sweet potato fries with honey mustard sauce. Both were excellent with. Burger was hot, juicy and tasted just right. Not overly seasoned which is good. Fries were crispy and I like them that way. Nice dining room, a bit of space for outside dining when weather permits, lots to choose from, and a freshly prepared burger that tastes like it came off your backyard grill (if you're any kind of decent cook). Two minor peeves. 1) Guests order at kiosks and pay by swiping their own credit cards (and for this, they want a tip?). I know "self-service" is becoming more common and I probably could've waved someone down if I had a question, but I'd rather START OUT talking to someone. The exception: if you want a beer or wine. Then you have to find a human AND pay at a separate register. 2) It's a little pricey. While my single cheeseburger was fresh, tasty, and came the way I ordered it, I'm not sure it was worth $7 for the burger alone. Cook Out serves a fresh burger, two sides and a beverage for the same amount, though their dining room is closed at present. If you're in the neighborhood (especially if you want an adult beverage with your meal), you might want to give 'em a try. read more

How's the food? It's ok. Meh. Have you ever said to yourself, "I want a burger and a salad at a restaurant, but only if I don't have to interact with a human to get it," ? Your new favoritest restaurant has arrived. It's pretty silly. You negotiate with a big touch screen at the counter to place your order, and pay with a card like at a grocery self-checkout. It's mildly confusing. If you want a beer with your meal, you can't order it on the screen- you have to find someone to pour it for you, and pay at a separate register. Usually, they have someone old enough to serve you. Here's the part that made me laugh though: the orders are brought out to the counter by some sleepy teenager who announces the order number unintelligibly and slouches back into the kitchen. There are no order numbers on the trays. Hungry patrons are forced to inspect each tray to determine if the order is theirs. This is maybe the dumbest service system I've ever seen. So, if you'd rather poke a screen instead of talking to someone to order a meal, yet don't mind people poking at your food to see if it's theirs, you'll love this place. My husband stopped here on his way home from WKU. I usually have a difficult time finding delicious food from restaurants that don't bother my food intolerances and chronic stomach issues. Burger & Bowl had a delicious beyond burger on a gluten free bun that tasted like the best beef burger I'd had before my health caused me to stop eating meat. The novo sauce was so good and the sriracha was well balanced, so no worries if like me you can't handle a lot of heat. If we lived closer, we'd eat there at least once a week. Well, I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised with my lunch here... I came here on a recommendation from a friend who works in town. FYI I'm not local, and I actually come from the bay area. I will say ironically that this was the best Nashville hot chicken I had, even though I was staying in Nashville... This is kind of your standard fair burger, and fries establishment, although they do make nice build your own salads. The food was all very good quality, freshly made, and very tasty. I highly recommend stopping in here for a fried chicken sandwich, or whatever suits your fancy. The herbed Parmesan fries are also nice, although a tad over seasoned... A friend recommended this restaurant to us, and based on the name, I thought this was going to be like a diner. That's from not looking into it at all. Getting there, it felt fancy! The prices weren't fancy, but this place gives off uppity suburban mom vibes. Our meal was 22 bucks, decent price. Given for the atmosphere, it's bland. You order on a touch screen that can get complicated when making modifications. We order the El Diablo burger, the chicken tenders, garlic parm fries, and curry fries, along with a mocha shake. The mocha shake, for being a milkshake, was heavily cold brew flavored. Very bitter. NASTY! The burger with the Novo sauce was flavorful, but without it, it was an average patty. It was seasoned, but not done so thoroughly. The cheese disappeared within the burger. As for the tenders, while fresh with nice breading, the inside was completely bland. Anything you get from this place relies heavily on their sauces. The curry fries had this overwhelming cinnamon flavor as opposed to having a more curry like flavor, which was highly disappointing. Highly inedible. The garlic parm fries were good, my one complaint is that there wasn't enough flavor. The Novo sauce is really good and the chipotle ranch is just okay.
