I was really impressed with the class; the instructor was really focused on alignment, had moves I hadn't practiced before (and I have been to a LOT of barre classes), and brought a ton of positive energy. The class was full but not over-packed, and it was a great workout with a lot of stretching and relaxation. An extra bonus: we met the owner, Ashley, who is local and has a dance background. She was extremely kind and generous, welcomed us to the space, and answered all our questions. This is a top-notch studio; we will definitely be coming back!

I decided to visit Fred Astaire's in Cold Spring as a last resort. Yuri and Kristen had a beginners class that moved at a good pace and wasn't an astronomical amount. They break down the moves and throw new steps at you to keep moving forward. Both are approachable and professional but fun at the same time. Its has been a crazy year since I started and I'm happy with all that I've learned and instructors who made sure I'm not the guy to embarrassed to dance at any event.

What has kept me motivated was the small class size, the motivation from the other members and Gami herself. She has been a great influence in my health and life. Trust me, I have a hard time building a routine or being disciplined, but Gami's classes, especially Boot Camp and BodyPump, have kept me focused and motivated. I am grateful to her and the studio for changing my life. She offers 5 programs, Les Mills BodyPump, HIIT (BootCamp), Zumba, Yoga (taught by Joyce) and PiYo live (taught by Jessica).
