This was my first and last gym. Most others I've been a member of between experiences were much…read moresmaller and upscale, so it might not be fair to compare Planet Fitness to them, but that's the breadth of my gym going experience. I loved how everyone cleaned up after themselves and the 30 Minute circuit was an actual circuit at Planet Fitness back in the day. Now even regulars who've been going to this gym for years seem allergic to cleaning up their sweat, and it isn't enforced at all. I don't even see staff cleaning after themselves when they workout. The quickest way to offend those in the circuit area is to ask them if they can move so you can actually circulate. I haven't asked the staff to enforce it because they don't do that either when they are working out. The first time I joined the gym there was someone who tended to peek into the circuit area. She would say she didn't mind people choosing not to do the circuit but they needed to be mindful of those who are trying or she could help them find similar equipment to use outside of the circuit. She'd ask people to wipe down equipment before moving on If she saw them walking away. There is nothing like that at all now. Nothing is enforced. Equipment hogging throughout the gym can be annoying, especially if the person is just sitting and FaceTiming or watching TikToks for a half hour. I don't remember that being an issue when I first joined. There are a few customers who might try to claim three pieces of equipment by doing stuff like putting a phone, water bottle, and a key on each. I wish staff didn't allow that, but most customers are fine if you ask them if you can move their stuff for whatever amount of minutes you'd like to use the equipment. I've actually met most of my gym buddies that way. Ironically, I think most hog just to preemptively protect their workout time from the real hoggers. The only place I've really received pushback asking for someone to move their things has been in the circuit area. Most of the customers are friendly or at least neutral. There are times sexual harassment can be a bit much, but I've noticed most like that don't tend to stay at the gym long. The air can be hot and stuff for a gym, but I tell myself that's how PF keeps costs down. Staff are friendly. It isn't uncommon to see someone walking around with a Swiffer or a mop. The bathroom and changing area is almost always reasonably clean relative to the amount of foot traffic in and out. If it isn't clean when I walk in, it's clean by the time I leave. Gyms with much lighter foot traffic aren't as diligent about keeping the bathrooms clean. One thing I like about the renovation is that I feel as if there is more space to stretch and stuff without getting in anyone's space even at peak times. I never realized that I had been accumulating points to get free stuff at the gym until a staff member told me the program was going away. There wasn't really anything to get because others had been redeeming their points. That was a bummer because I had a ton of points. There is no more free pizza these days. It's been gone many years, but I still miss my slice of white. I appreciate the Tootsie Rolls, though.

So I showed up early today to wait until the opener opened 5 minutes late. They need to maintain consistency and hold staff accountable. The owner and staff have created a workout community that pushes you like a regular gym never would - while also creating a fun and friendly atmosphere that you are excited to be a part of. I'll also add - when you hear about CrossFit or see some of the insanely fit people there, it looks super intimidating. I can tell you once you go, it's the complete opposite. Everything is explained very thoroughly, everything can be scaled for your fitness level, and the coaches and your workout partners are so extremely supportive and helpful. I am so glad I got my past fear and went for it because it wound up not being scary at all and each class I learn something new and see improvement. Highly recommend!

Everyone - from the coaches to the members are friendly, inviting and motivating. No matter what your level of fitness you'll feel comfortable and welcomed. The owner - Ryan - organizes social events at the gym or at local hotspots and he puts teams together to compete in local competitions - Crossfit related and not. Ryan & his team of coaches do a phenomenal job. The WODS are always balanced and the movements and exercises are always property explained, demonstrated, practiced and individually scaled before the workout begins. My husband and son train here as well and we all love it. We have been members at other local area gyms/ fitness organizations in the area but we have never felt at home as we do here. We have seen tremendous improvements in our fitness and health since becoming members and the connections and friendships we've made cannot be matched

Ria taught us tools that were invaluable - how to understand our dog's body language, how to snap her out of her reactivity, how to socialize her properly with other dogs and more! Ria also provided us endless tools such as various collars and leashes so that we were able to try different ones in our different sessions to find the one that helped us the most. Prior to training our dog, had a lot of anxiety around other dogs and was quite reactive. Now that we have understood her body cues, how to handle her with the proper tools like our leash and collar, our dog is living a totally different life. We can take her off leash and know she will obey to her commands/ listen. This has opened our dogs, horizons, and our horizons to new adventures like hikes, new dog friends, and more. Scheduling with Ria could not be easier. She was extremely flexible and communicative. We knew if we reached out with any questions during our training process she would respond right away with a text or a call. She consistently gave us feedback on how we were doing our homework as well and gave us tips and tricks along the way she really adjusts her training style per dog and her expertise truly shines. We could not thank Ria enough for all of her training and would recommend her to anyone !
