The guy's working at the store was very helpful. The store had exactly what I wanted in my liquor purchase.

They have a great selection of local beers and even offer singles where you can make a customized six pack. Great sales too. They have massive sales on wine during Easter and Thanksgiving. A must stop for me when I want to round out that case or splurge on some of those high priced wines.

When asked for ID, I presented my Federal Tribal ID card, which I have always been proud to offer. The clerk said he can only accept it if I produced a birth certificate to go along with it. While explaining that our Tribal Id's come with holographic imprint, our social security number, birth date, full name, address, and tribal affiliation, the clerk raised his voice at me and barked "We are trained not to accept federal tribal id's!" Several nearby cashiers heard the commotion and chimed in agreement, loudly telling me and my girlfriend to leave. The manager, Sam, rushed toward me with unnecessary force and yelled, "You need to leave!" As a fellow local business owner I was surprised at the hostility Happy Harry's employees are allowed to display towards customers. I left humiliated, without the wine, that ironically, was for the holiday that celebrates Native Americans accepting the White Man, by offering dinner...probably with wine.

Sadly this section isnt cooled, so you will have to keep it in the fridge for a bit before exploring and experimenting with your beers. There is only an aisle to pick from, but it was honestly hard for me to pick which beers I wanted because I love adding to my Untappd and I love tasting new ways beer is made by these brewing companies. I was even surprised to see soju there! Its a great Korean beer that i discovered and loved back home. Although they dont have my favorite yogurt flavor, they surprisingly have flavors i have never seen back home such as grapefruit and plum. I even discovered a brand of rum that i really want to try. There is this rum called Kasama and knowing the language and meaning of it, i picked it up out of curiosity. My suspicions were correct. A rum made from the Philippines! Sadly we didnt bring a suitcase to fit under the plane, so I will have to do some research when I head back home. My only downside was it seemed a bit awkward for me to be there. The cashiers/employees kind of eyed me a bit as I walked around the store. I turn a corner, feel eyes on me, look, they turn away. Felt more comfortable to be around customers because the customers wouldnt stare at me and the service wouldnt dare look when more people were around me.

I saw some great Japanese whiskey as well as plenty of mixers and all kinds of different beers, although some of the more esoteric things that you see on the East Coast microbrewery list don't make it out here. There's a fair amount of international major brands and domestic styles. You can also grab a free bag of ice at the front with any purchase. Staff was super friendly and helpful when making an exchange.

We were devastated but decided to try this place out and man it delivered and MORE. I love sours, I cannot get enough of sours, and this place has SO many on tap. I was in heaven. I did a flight in the main brewery area, saddled up near some arcade games and enjoyed the vibe and feel of the place. It reminds me of so many of the breweries that I love down in the Twin Cities. The logo, simply amazing. This is such a fresh take on a brewery and to see in North Dakota is refreshing. After finishing our first round we ventured over to the brewhalla/market area? Can't recall what it was called but man we could've spent hours in that section. We did a little shopping, tried some other beers that weren't available in the taproom (more sours!!!) and grabbed some food to snack on as we walked. My husband was a big fan of the oysters - who would've thought? Having the hotel attached as well was genius. Next time we're in town, we're staying there! Can't wait to stop in when we're back in town.
