I called the salon/spa as soon as we hung up with his sister. The person that answered the phone said it was no issue and she was very kind. Unfortunately, later that evening we received an email stating we were no-shows and we were then charged $300 on our credit card. I called to speak to the owner on Monday. Instead of being, compassionate and kind she lectured me on how many visits I had to cancel in the past year. She agreed to the refund but inferred that I am not welcome back and also would not let-up on the cancellation history. We've been frequent guests at BVI over the years and even held our daughter's wedding shower there in 2024. It's disappointing that an experience at Luxe has now colored how I feel about the property as a whole, given how loyal we've been. Of the appointments I did need cancel for medical reasons (13 over the course of a year), my shortest notice was 9 days and longest was 108, averaging about 7 weeks. That's real time to fill those slots, not someone trying to hurt the business. Their cancellation policy states no less than 24 hours notice is required. I did well over that each time. I typically would book months in advance because securing the people I want and the dates/times I want is not easy if I wait too close to the dates/times I need. This causes me to have to adjust the appointments at times due to medical issues I was having at that time. I explained this to the owner, but she still was very aggressive and heartless.

7/9/20 update: I…read morelove this place even more. I had my first botox and filler experience here yesterday and the staff was amazing. I am not so great with needles and actually ended up passing out. I was so embarrassed but the staff was kind and caring and assured me it was not a big deal. I was still able to get my lip fillers and Botox. Kelly was my injector and she did an amazing job. I can't believe the difference from just 1ml. I will never go anywhere else, I'm so pleased with her work! The only thing I would change is the injectors are not full time so booking is usually 1 month out :( ---------------------------- So happy with my laser hair removal thus far. I had gone to another place before and the pricing was crap compared to here and it was IPL not laser. The prices here are so reasonable. I've had two treatments so far and the hair on my legs is already not going back in a lot of the areas. The treatment is quick, and the location is clean.
