I came here when they had the deal on Ocotber 24th where it was $6 for everything on their menu. A lot of people took advantage. I suggest that you take the food to go as they don't have a ton of seating inside. Anyways, majority of their menu were sandwiches. They do have a breakfast menu so they're opened for that time as well. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and the chopped cheese one as well all on a hero. Afterwards, they told me it would take 30 mins so I ended up going back home then coming back out as it was brisk outside. It was done exactly in 30 mins. read more

I been meaning to try this place since it opened and finally had the chance. I got the chimi and empire sandwiches. Both were really good and the portions are very generous. You could easily share a sandwich or have leftovers. My favorite was the chimi, it was delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more items from their menu. read more

Do not waste your time here and I mean it. Everything is more than a 20-minute wait outside in the heat. I ordered here once and had to wait half of my lunch break. I ordered online so I wouldn't have to wait and still had to wait because they made my order and gave it to someone else that ordered the same thing. Then when I show up, they tell me oh, we didn't see the order in the computer. Too late, I already heard the conversation of them giving my food away to someone else out back. On top of everything they catch an attitude with you instead of the other way around. Hands down all-around bad experience. Like I said, don't waste your time here. My husband and I love a good breakfast sandwich and wanted to try Empire a second time. Initially when they first opened, we did try the NYPD sandwiches but found them to be too greasy for us, specifically the hashbrown. We went back for the 2nd time last week and tried the NYPD again and the avocado toast. The NYPD was a lot better the 2nd time around and they give you a lot given the price. It's a pretty solid breakfast sandwich in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, I went wrong with the avocado toast. I had assumed, I was going to get the typical avocado toast you would find at other eateries that was mashed up with some seasoning on toast and maybe a small salad with grape tomatoes. At $8.50, it seemed like it would be of good value. Instead, I got the literal translation of the description: avocado and grape tomato over multigrain toast. I opened the take out container and there was one multigrain toast with a few pieces of sliced avocado on top, maybe with a little salt, and a few pieces of grape tomato halves. It was comical and wish I took the photo. I did pass along the feedback as well and they did confirm that's how they make it. While I would not recommend the avocado toast here, I would try the other sandwich options. read more

Stumbled upon this place on my way to get breakfast & so happy I did! The smoothies are delicious and not made with ice so you're getting all the fruit & veggies.
