Good sandwiches! We stopped for picnic sandwiches on a walk to Astoria park. The place is clean with indoor and outdoor seating. You can order online to avoid waiting in line to save time. The sandwich is large but i jad no problem eating a whole one and they are really good & fresh

Pretty solid sandwich place in Astoria that was a bit of travel from the Blink Gym I frequent but it was worth the journey. Stepping inside the place has a lot going on, there is a Pac-Man Arcade 1up machine which I used to kill some time waiting for my meal, there is a large TV on the other side of the place which had The Flintstones on when I was there and the music playing in the background is enough to give a rush of nostalgia if you're a millennial like me. Not like golden age 90's nostalgic but the music playing was around the 2000s, basically music I've listened to as a teen and young adult so it's definitely a spot right on the nose for 80s babies like myself. The menu is pretty expansive in variety, though I already figured what I wanted. The New Yorker Breakfast Sandwich (classic Bacon, Egg & Cheese) and the Turkey Pesto hero. I'm trying to kick the habit of mulling over how much things cost in this day and age because inflation is nothing new. Still at first I thought 2 sandwiches, a can of soda and chips for close to $30 was a tad steep but I'll excuse it because that food was very filling. You can't really go wrong with anything you'll select here. Service was also solid. Props to the woman behind the counter who got my order done in timely matter. I believe her name is Aya, the name is a bit fuzzy to remember.

I got the cheesy egg n mushroom. It was just okay to be honest. I liked the saltiness from the cheese but the mushrooms weren't super great. I also tried their strawberry banana smoothie and that was okay! I'd still come back but I'd probably try something different off the menu. On a side note, the inside of the shop is really cool. They have these mini arcade games you can play as you wait.

Nice neighborhood sandwich shop that delivers. The menu offers a variety of options, with something that appealed to everyone in our group. Our order arrived quickly and everyone enjoyed the meal.

Both sandwiches were really good and fresh. Eggplant was crispy warm and saucy. The chopped cheese was really good the meat had flavor the vegetables were fresh and delicious. Big sandwiches fast delivery.

    Spicy Chicken Parm

Great sandwich spot, a little elevated from your standard NY deli but not too pretentious or skimpy on the servings. A huge variety of hot sandwiches, I got the Spicy Chicken Parm and it absolutely hit the spot. Also has the classic Boyland soda range that really makes it a classic NY deli lunch for me. Really great service as well, friendly cashiers and a tap water dispenser makes it a very pleasant experience.

I love Compton's but they do have a shortfall that aggravates me: They're Not Open 24 hours I never thought that something in life had the ability to make me so unbelievably sad. On another note, everything's delicious, their service is quick and friendly. Enjoy!

    Grilled Chicken Burrata Club

Came to the one in Astoria this time around. Much bigger than the one in LIC. The sándwich I had I wasn't that happy about it. It was supposed to be hot but because of the fresh burrata it wasn't it made it cold and it was on the messy side. My daughter had a really good sandwich however that I'd try the next time I stop on in.

Spencer hot sandwich with less cheese and mayo

Really wanted to like this place due to all the good reviews but it really disappointed. I ordered the Spencer hot sandwich AKA the Philly cheese steak. It tasted good but for $16, the sandwich was lackluster. This is at most a $12 sandwich. If prices were lower I would give this place a better rating. I'm unsure why other reviews say the sandwiches are huge. They're tiny... I included a picture with a Roku remote for scale. If you want a good sandwich or a sandwich that's actually worth your money, go elsewhere. If the higher prices are paying employees a better wage or better benefits, I wouldn't mind paying a higher price. But nothing on their website indicates that. Won't be returning.

The mafadine pasta was a good pick adorned with springy components like pea leaves and a compelling Parmesan vibe. Maybe I like vegetables more than I thought? The steelhead carpaccio special was a stunner. Based on my 1.5 bites of monkfish I'd also endorse that. This may be more of a "DVD extra" but when I originally looked up the QB many of the top-ranked items were breakfasts and some were p-zza (reverse SEO). Based only on lower-left menu placement I would say don't go that route and that specials are a good bet. Again this is only based on 1.5 bites but the eggplant parm special had great sauce. I'm undecided on the watermelon granita which wasn't all that watermelony but spicy dessert was different. I was surprised by how much I liked the edamame, since you can get that everywhere, but the Japanese 7-spice add an intriguing citrus kick.

My husband chose The Queensboro to celebrate his birthday with a brunch alongside my grandparents,…read moreand it felt like a great chance to revisit a spot we'd previously enjoyed for lunch and dinner. Food: 3.5/5 We made it a point to try a range of brunch options. My grandfather ordered the sweet potato and chorizo hash, I went with the two-egg combo with pork sausage (eggs over easy), and my husband chose the Moroccan eggs. Overall, the food was good and flavorful, especially if you enjoy dishes with a bit more nuance and influence from Spanish or Mexican flavors. That said, as someone who leans more toward classic American diner-style brunch, it didn't fully hit that nostalgic spot for me. It's not that anything was bad--it just wasn't the most memorable brunch I've had. Still, it was nice to explore a different side of their menu beyond the burgers, fries, and pasta we'd tried before. Service: 4/5 The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, which made the experience pleasant. However, they do rely on a QR code-style menu, which can be a bit of a learning curve--especially for those who prefer a more traditional ordering experience. During the brunch rush, things definitely got busy and a bit overwhelmed, so service slowed down slightly. One tip: if you already know what you want, it's best to order everything upfront to avoid delays. Vibe: 3.5/5 Like many New York spots, space is tight. Even as a party of four, we were seated at a small square table, which could be challenging if you have strollers or extra belongings. That said, the space still feels cozy and neighborhood-friendly--great for a casual brunch, just not the most spacious. All in all, It's a solid neighborhood brunch spot with interesting, flavor-forward dishes and kind service. I wouldn't call it my top brunch destination, but I'd come back if I were in the area--especially if I was craving something a little different from the usual diner fare.

Apps , we tried the Tostones con Birria very good great tasting meat & Chorizo Mac & cheese , also very good. Main dishes , Al pastor tacos & Chicken Burrito were both very good. Next time we stopped by for brunch, we got the bottomless option tried the Sangrita white, good sangrita price wise makes sense assuming u drinking more than 3-4 glasses a person. On the food Carnitas Benedict & short rib hash were both very tasty. For dessert gave the Tres Leches a try not bad, just the right amount of sweet. Another brunch visit & we tried Paloma spritz, good & Mexican coffee, pretty strong in taste. Chicken & waffles topped with bacon, very good chicken good combo dish. & the Lady's enchiladas great taste the enchiladas w the green sauce & cheese on top. Good size restaurant, small bar area towards the back, simple but colorful decor. Service overall has been good, they are attentive. Reasonable prices & u get a decent amount of food. This place has been around for some time, happy we discovered it recently overall good vibe, food & drinks, we will continues to visit from time to time.
