I've been having a troubling time with this office. The staff are very kind, however there has been many issues with my orders. My appointment was in November at which time I had ordered Trial Contacts and they said it would be either delivered to them or my home address. All of November and most of December passes. No calls and no deliveries. After Christmas I had called them to follow up and inquire if my contacts had arrived yet since they weren't delivered to my home. The staff said that they were delivered to their office last month (no one notified me of this), but they cannot locate them in the office. They had multiple staff searching in the back with no luck. The staff then said since they lost my contacts that they can order 2 trial contacts to make up for it. I agreed to this gingerly. They said that the contacts will arrive in one week. A week passes and I call them for a follow up, the staff reported that my contacts are on the delivery truck set to be delivered at 9pm and that they will call me the morning after. The morning after no one called. I called their office at 5pm yesterday and the staff reported "We don't have them it usually takes 2 weeks." I told them that the staff yesterday informed me that they were on a delivery truck for last night. The staff then stated "We have different tracking systems and sometimes they're not right." I am also waiting on a pair of glasses, but I had just ordered those last week so I know those take time, but it has been 2 months waiting for trial contacts. read more

Got an early appointment and they checked me in pretty quickly. Everyone was very helpful with questions I had. I needed an eye exam and Dr Brackley was wonderful. I was having several issues and she listened carefully, did a thorough exam and was able to figure out and explain and help with all my problems. It took a while, because I had to have my pupils dilated, but I used the time to look for my new glasses. read more

1st appt rescheduled the day before. 2nd appt came into office and was told systems were down. I could wait or reschedule. Being I already made the trip there, I waited..an hour. Rescheduled. 3rd appt.- apparently the reason the 2nd appt was like that was because it was virtual. I don't understand why anyone would make a virtual appt & still have to come into the office opposed to doing it from home. Makes no sense nor when I made the appt request it be "telehealth". If that wasn't bad enough the script that i currently had was still good! You think they would have made mention of it but nope. So for a 2nd time I commuted there for nothing. ‍ needless to say a waste of time& poor communication. Oh and it was a trainee handling everything. read more

Called their phone, a recoding answered. I was able to schedule an appointment in about 12 days by way of this automated system. BUT the automatic system referred to it as an eye exam. I have always gotten, once a year, an eye exam along with an exam for a new pair of glasses. The automatic system called the exam an "eye" exam, this is ambiguous. So I called back and asked for a representative. Got the all too standard message "having more calls than normal". The message also suggested visiting their web site which gave no information that I needed. So I waited, and waited, and waited. 28 minutes later a man answered, he answered my question. I am very unhappy with both the ambiguity of the automatic system and the very long wait. read more

I used to love this location! Must've had a change in management. Can't schedule online appointments for many months out. No luck calling because you're on hold forever and no one picks up. Expired prescriptions used to be extended as a courtesy if they couldn't get you in within a reasonable time (2 months). Tried in person, not helpful at all. Was told to try another location and they don't have access to scheduling so I have to call around. If I'm calling around, I'm going elsewhere. read more

Can we say unprofessional???? I came in and wasn't greatedfor a few minutes while Anthony and the other tatted up lady were chatting. I was there to pick up glasses. Anthony told me to sit down and then handed me my glasses.... Then he just walked away!!! I sat there for a few minutes looking like a fool as NOBODY came over to see if my glasses were fitting ok or to see if I needed anything. Finally I asked Anthony if I was just supposed to leave after he handed me my glasses, his response "well, if they're ok you can leave otherwise I'll send someone over". Ummmm...... every other time I've gotten new glasses someone sits with me and makes sure they fit and are even. I was completely baffled by this. Finally another man came over, totally annoyed that I needed to be helped. He didn't even sit down to have a conversation with me about the fit.... just stood there. I finally told him I didn't think they were even on my face. With an annoyed look on his face, he took the glasses (didn't even really look at me with them on) and worked on them. He handed them back to me all smudged. Thankfully they fit ok but then I handed them back to him and he said "smudges?". Then he cleaned them for me, and gave them back to me and then walked away. Mind you, there was NOBODY else in there that needed assistance. Then, I went back to the front desk to order contacts for my husband. Well, of course this took forever because Anthony moves at a snail's pace. Also, while I was waiting to put in my order another customer came in to pick up his contacts.... that weren't there..... Anthony had called him to tell him they were in. When asked about it, at first Anthony denied he called the gentleman, then when the customer asked him if his name was Anthony and he responded it was he did say he was "under the impression they were in". We all lead busy lives these days and time is of the essence for most of us, to make this man come in to pick up contacts that weren't there and to not receive an apology from Anthony, but a snarky response is deplorable. I have been coming to this location for YEARS, even left and went to one closer to me but then came back once the doctor at the one 2 minutes from my house left because of the customer service. I will not be coming back to this location and will instead go back to one of the two near my house. I'm saddened at how poorly I was treated by the staff there. I needed to get an exam quickly, for my DMV renewal online. I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly. My insurance was explained to me and did a great job covering a number of frames I liked. I was able to talk through lens options and order without waiting. Dr. Tibbetts was great and answered all my questions and filled out my forms for me. I was very happy that things went so well and I walked in and out pretty fast. I'd recommend them and will be back next year. read more

This place has gone so far downhill I can't believe they are still open. I ordered and paid for glasses from them one month ago that were supposed to take 2 weeks, and have not come in. They have not contacted me at all and I cannot reach them by phone. I am currently on the phone (for 10 mins so far) waiting to speak with someone. Don't waste your time with this place--their customer service is apparently nonexistent. read more

The staff that works here is really nice but that is the extent of the positives about this place. It is nearly impossible to reach them by phone. They never answer and then direct you to website to make an appointment and that was not allowing me to schedule. Once I finally reached them I couldn't get an appointment for over a month and a half. Now I am in the waiting room and have been here for 45 minutes. There is nothing efficient in terms of getting an eye appointment here. I have come here for many years but it has gone so downhill I wont be back. read more

Everything is up selling now days. Make sure to ask questions and question the answers too Went in for a pair of glasses before I knew it the lens were costing me more than I expected, and the frames were not cheap either Next time I'll go to Costco even without the insurance I have it would have Benin about 1/3 the price FYI the lady here told me that plastic / polycarbonate lens do not protect against uv rays. A simple google search let me know more than she does read more

I had the most wonderful experience at my eye appointment on Sept 20, 2019. Dr. Catunto was so nice and made my appointment very easy and not nerve-wracking at all. He was so helpful and explained everything. And, he has a great sense of humor. It was probably one of the best eye appointment experiences I have had. A special thank you to Jamie who helped me choose new frames. She gave me her honest opinion and even selected several more frames for me to try on. She was willing to spend as much time as I needed to be sure I got the right look. She was very nice and was a big help with explaining insurance and discount programs. In fact, all of the staff I had contact with were extremely helpful, polite, and professional. I will definitely go back to this location every year. Thank you for such a great experience! read more

They provide glasses and help with understanding your coverage with your insurance. I've had good experiences with Visionworks at other locations in the past. But this location provides maybe the worst customer service ever. All the employees just seem angry and rude and mean. I don't get why. Maybe they hate their lives, but how is this place still open with how mean the entire staff is? read more

I needed an exam quickly and they were able to offer me an appointment the next day. I was in and out with 2 new pairs of glasses on order in about an hour. Every test was explained to me as was my insurance coverage! I usually go to the Fayetteville, NY location but will be changing to this one. It's worth the 15 mins drive for me!
