Hinckley Springs Water - Four (4) 5-gallon glass bottles

    Hinckley Springs Water

I have NEVER received my water, as the delivery has been rescheduled 4 times. Every time I have called customer service, I am fed the same BS: "We apologize for this inconvenience, we will add you to the the next route ASAP and throw in a free case of Ice Mountain water." This company reeks of fraud. Where is my $51...? I guess I have been scammed.

Beware of the billing by Hinckley Springs Water a/k/a Primo Water. I just received a late charge of…read more$10 to my bill. I have not paid since the delivery man reported the incorrect number of 5-gallon glass bottles delivered. I had to call twice to get the matter resolved. It is still incorrect. I have 4 5-gallon glass bottles and they only want to give me credit for 3. Another irritating addition to my bill was when they assessed a higher per bottle rental fee and automatically added it to my bill. It is now $30/glass bottle. They claim one bottle was returned. The phone agent at that time claimed she had to report it this way to get the adjustment on the statement. Then I needed only one bottle and they charged me $29.99 for the water and a $12.95 delivery fee. I was charged $45!!! That's $9 per gallon. They want me to pay before the account is straightened out. I have been calling and waiting. I had to call twice--that's two hours waiting and hoping. Supposedly it was taken care of the first time, but nothing happened to my bill. After the second call, I received a bottle credit and a credit for the overcharge when Jeff the delivery guy reported the wrong number of bottles delivered. That was credited on April 29, 2023. But now I am charged a late fee of $10 when the company is the entity that is late! Matthew says I am 59 days overdue when they only corrected the account on April 29, 2023. I have 4 empty glass bottles. I had 3 bottles delivered regularly since one is in use. My current bill is $125.94 including the late payment fee. So minus the late fee, my balance is $115.94. Matthew credited the $10 late fee, but then rescinded that when I said I wanted to cancel my account! Primo/Hinckley Springs actually owes me $4.06, that's the $30 deposit on 4 bottles $120, minus $115.94. It seems the company is in disarray or the company is very shady. A special address check notice came from HINCKLEY SPRINGS, 200 Eagles Landing Blvd, Lakeland, FL 33810, instead of the many local addresses. Their customer service number is 800-492-8377. Words to the wise: Do Not Use this Company. I highly recommend Wisconsin Glacier Springs Company, phone 847-265-2299, address 430 Keller Drive, Park City, IL 60085.

They completed the job in approximately 5 1/2 hours including cleanup. Their craftsmanship was superb, and yes, we are very pleased with our new countertops. Not so our communication with Artistic's sales rep. She was outwardly friendly and polite, but it typically took her several days to respond to messages. Her confusion about some of our questions made us wonder whether she understood much about fabrication and installation. Also, we found her guidance to be misleading. She convinced us to replace our old overmount porcelain sink with a new stainless steel undermount sink. Which might have been okay, except my Missus made a point of saying that she wanted enough space between the sink and backsplash to accommodate two accessory trays. Not only did we end up with a smaller sink but also less counter space than before! In retrospect, a rectangular sink (though more costly) would have been a better choice than what was installed. Since we were past the point of no return, we asked if they would at least move the soap dispenser to provide more usable space. To make a long story short, nearly 4 months following our initial visit to their showroom, a worker finally came out to make the adjustment. He assured us he would return the next week to complete the job by filling in the original hole with a like material. We never heard from him again and there has been no response to our text messages.

I'd NEVER recommend this company. There were so many other companies in this location that we…read morecould have gone to... but fate or misfortune brought us here. We contracted to have Uba Tuba installed throughout our kitchen. They finally installed the countertops at the end of '23. As the installers were finishing up, a guy showed up to inspect their work. We engaged in conversation while the crew of (2) finished the work. I specifically asked him about the durability and care of the stone, to which he confidently replied that it was practically indestructible - no need for cutting board or trivet, you could probably hammer on it and its not going to harm it. .. Anyways, we spoke for a while. Seemed to be a nice guy, even stated if anything happens he'll come out right away... Well, just as soon as they left, we noticed a substantial mark on one of the counter segments. I looked like a grinder scrape, probably 6-8" long. It was initially hard to notice because they appear to use an oil-based solution to glam it up upon completion. We immediately contacted the guy who came at the end and he said he'd notify the installer to return to repair the damage. One of them returned within an hour and did what looked like an attempt to polish it out. After working on it for like an hour, apparently, he thought it looked finished, so he polished it up again with the oily stuff and told us to wait an hour or two. Unfortunately, after several hours, the area, which originally has these grinding scores, now had an even bigger damage from the attempted polishing, and the section had this hazy glaze about 2" wider than before. We contacted the same man to tell him about the issue and he said not to worry because they'd just come back another day and replace the whole piece, which is about 5'. He told my husband to set it up with Smytha, at the Artistic office. Weeks turned into months, as my husband kept leaving messages requesting a call back. and no one following up. Finally, March 9, 2024, I called the office and spoke directly to Smytha. She told me they'd schedule the replacement but were so busy, but she'd call me back the next week to get it on schedule. After not hearing from them by mid-week, I called again. They scheduled for 3/22/24 but had an issue with some machine and had to reschedule. They finally returned on 3/26/24. So, the foreman guy and one other installer show up. They replace the damaged slab and leave. After they are gone, I take a look at the piece they replaced and notice that the piece on this section is a noticeable difference from what was installed for the rest of the kitchen. The first had a majority of blacks and grey, the new section was black and BROWNS, with very little grey. I suppose out of frustration, we didn't call them. I feel foolish because we had no reason to feel like we shouldn't "bother" them with this. But really, they are the supposed experts. The guy we spoke to claimed like 20 yrs with is company. I'm sure they knew it wasn't a match, but just wanted to get us off their backs. I swear, I also noticed a chip on the edge of the island across from the area being serviced which I do not believe was there before they arrived. But again, I say nothing....Ok, so it's been not even a year. I'm still having trouble accepting that the pieces are a different design because they are such large sections and they are not placed far enough away from each other not to notice, so, yes, I am triggered about it when I think about it, especially anytime guest are over. And, that "durability" that we were assured that the counters had? Well, after only ONE time, I've learned this wasn't true either. I am really disappointed having chose this company.

He arrived at 1:35, Upon his arrival, He didn't check for leaks before recharging; he just hooked up his equipment and stated my condenser reading was 7.5 and it should be at a 17" He then said do you want me to add freon? I replied yes, so he did. while it was charging up, he took a little brush to remove debris from around the coils but only did half the unit. he then told me to properly clean the unit he would have to take the cover off and that would cost more money. I asked him if he checked for any leaks? he said no, it would cost more money to test the pressure, so he didn't do it. I then asked him if he saw any leaks or heard any hissing, he said no but you really can't tell that way". So after he finished adding the freon, we went to my house to pay, he wrote up the invoice and charged me 375.00 for 2-5 lbs of freon and a service fee of 125.00, for a total of $500.00. Mind you he never gave me an estimate. I told him, if he had told me the price beforehand, I would have not agreed to it. but the work was done so I paid him, but I will never use him again and will never recommend him to my friends or neighbors. On top of that, he offers no guarantee like other companies do. Then he had the nerve to slap his business sticker on my unit without asking. I was very likely overcharged.

However, minus two stars in this review because every 5 years or so Nicor sends us a letter reminding us that our gas meter is in our basement (which it always has been), and that it really should be moved outside. Typically these letters admonish us for not having responded to their previous attempts to contact us. This past September we received one of these letters and I did what I always do: I called Nicor, confirmed they have our correct contact information, including email and phone number, and asked what we should do about the meter. Per usual, the representative gave me a phone number to call, and like always I called it. On this latest occasion, Nicor told me to call the Nicor Scheduling Department at 1-800-730-6114 x3. I called and spoke with Leo, who told me yes, they could arrange to have our meter moved outside. Leo told me that he would send an email to their private contractors and we should hear back from one of them in a few days. Surprise! It's been three months and we still haven't heard back. Happens every time. Then, this past October, a Nicor technician came to our house for an "inspection." She saw our gas meter in the basement and told us it should be moved outside. I explained how Nicor has told us this before, but each time we follow up with Nicor, we never hear back. She seemed surprised and told me she would follow up with her supervisor. Okay, fine. Alas, once again, we've heard nothing. I guess we can expect another letter in about 5 years.
