I'm embarrassed to admit the # of water bottles I was going thru on a weekly basis since I really disliked the taste of the water at my house, but we are (almost) a water bottle free house now thanks to Culligan. Jim from Culligan came by on a Saturday afternoon and convinced us that we would be satisfied with their water filtration system. A week later it was installed and I've been drinking more water than ever since it tastes so good! Even my just as picky daughter agrees this water is good. There was a slight issue that our ice machine was hardly producing ice after they left, but they came back to check it out after a quick phone call...and now we have plenty of perfect tasting ice and water. Highly recommend! It's a bit costly, but no more than you'll spend on bottled water for your home if your family consumes as much water as mine does. read more

They've been great for us. Recently had 10 bags of salt delivered and the gentleman brought them in and into my basement and even filled up the machine. Always been pleasant whether it's water testing or fixing my RO system etc. read more

Absolutely horrendous. This is actually my first review I've ever written. That's how bad my experience has been. Started out great, everyone at culligan was so friendly and showed up on time. Never had an issue setting up the water softner Im renting or contacting anyone. They gave me a number for my "Rep" he never responds. On top of that I was not recieving their emails with my bill and they were charging late fees on top of it. They had the wrong email address. The RO sucks and I've asked twice to have it removed, still nobody has shown up and I'm still being charged for it. Now they have sent me a letter about consistent missed payments when they are the ones who can't get their shit together. I have alot more complaints but would run out of room to type. So disappointing. Do. Not. Recommended. read more

Our Culligan water dispenser breaks constantly, and they are slow in coming to our office to repair/replace it. When they do finally come, they typically replace the broken one with a unit that is clearly old and on its last legs. This past Thursday, after waiting about a week for service, a technician brought a replacement (as usual, another worn out relic) that immediately started leaking and provided no hot water. My wife made me do it and admittedly it was not such a bad idea. John from culligan was terrific. I gave him a hard time and he tolerated me. After we agreed on what we needed he was able to deliver. 5 stars for the Culligan men of Whelling, IL (Jim and Oscar) Excellent service! Excellent water!! I have been a picky bottled water user for 10+ years. I hate tap water taste, smell and the high ppm reading scares me of what toxic concoction brews and comes through the pipes. Until now... Just a few short weeks ago, I was pursuaded to make the change by The Culligan Man (Jim) to leave behind my beloved bottled waters (Poland Springs, Fuji, etc.) and try reverse osmosis. All I can say now is, "What has taken me so long to make this switch?" This is the best thing that ever happened to me and my family. I love the water and my fridge line (ice/water dispenser) conversion they did plus I got a nice brushed nickel faucet. So I now spend my money on nice travel glass bottles (Amazon.com) versus trips to the store weekly to stock up on water bottles and gallon jugs of water for cooking. I especially love the fact my faucet water went from 189ppm to "4ppm"!! It's the best thing I have done for myself, my family and the earth (no more plastics, fear of lead or leaching of BPA from my bottled water). My shower water feels silky smooth, soft and my cold drinking water is like I remember when I was a child 40+ years ago. Fresh, cold, crisp and delicious. Ahh! Anyone reading this should not delay. I am not a paid spokesperson but perhaps I should be ;). I am however a very satisfied customer and my return on investment is immediate!! I would highly recommend -- don't delay. read more

My fault as a misinformed customer, but they grossly overcharge for "high efficiency" water softeners, which are just regular water softeners. Also, our sales rep told us we'd get free salt for a year (reasonable considering we spent 5K on a softener), but I got a bill from culligan for 75 bucks saying I signed up for delivery with payment. Would never recommend this dishonest business. read more

I was a customer of Culliagan for 15 years in another territory, and they were great. This location you deal with a sales guy that is comparable to a used car salesman. They will sell you a new system for $5000 when you can get something comparable or better for 1/4 of the price. Shop around first. $50 dollars a month ends up adding to a huge overcharge. read more

We were worried about contaminants in our Chicago water, in particular lead, with all the recent water main replacements in our neighborhood. I read extensively about what type of water filtration system to have installed and landed on an RO system. The beauty of hiring Culligan was that they handled everything from start to finish. I tried to order a system independently and have my plumber install it, but that would have required one expert testing my water, another recommending a system, a fabricator drilling a hole in my counter top and finally a plumber installing they system. Culligan handled it all. My sales rep, John, took time to answer all of my specific questions about each particular contaminant. We are very happy with the water and would recommend Culligan to anyone in need of an RO system. read more

Moving into a new home in Chicago, one of the first things on our to-do list was to get a reverse osmosis system installed. We chose Culligan based off a recommendation from a relative and because they provided installation in Chicago. When John came by for the consultation, he was beyond friendly and was extremely knowledgable about Chicago's water system. We were afraid of drilling through the granite countertop, but thankfully Culligan was able to install a water line directly into the faucet. When we use our faucet now, we just have to press a wireless button that switches our water line from regular water to filtered water. Installation was very quick, and when John tested the filter a few weeks later, our filtered water tested at 8ppm. We are extremely pleased on the taste and color of the water, and by the professional service. Our well is now pure, A++ read more

Outstanding Customer Service! I called the Office at 11:00 pm to request a reschedule for a delivery that was to be made the next day. I left a message and the Office called me the following morning at 7:30 am to confirm the cancelled delivery and I was then able to attend to some pressing family business.
