The woman rolled her eyes, looked at us like "what do you want?" and reluctantly, opened the door. We told her we wanted to buy a driving lesson package. Her answer was "we're closed." Receptionists are rude. I had a receptionist hang up on me mid sentence after talking over me the entire conversation. My driving teacher was cool but wasn't much of an instructor. He did much of the work for me and I wasn't prepared for the road test- ( I do not entirely blame him.) I will say he was late for a few lessons (no extra time) and ran errands during my time. The guy driving me to the road test was immature, unprofessional and ignorant and didn't provide a positive atmosphere. Avoid this unprofessional outlet. Save your coin for someone who listens when you speak, provides instructors who know how to teach, respects your time in addition to a providing a calming pre-road test atmosphere. It's also worth mentioning they are penny pinchers. I cancelled a lesson the day before and they (tried to) charge me!!! Also their system is janky and will alert you for lessons not in the system and charge you a cancellation fee for lessons you never had! I took regular driving lessons with them on Richmond Hill. Good instructors. They have easy to learn tricks that help you pass. I give them a 5 for regular driving lessons easy. Stop reading now if you don't care about CDL. the 2 star rating is for when I finally went back to them to get some training to drive a straight truck. I have a Class B permit because I don't need anything else for what I want to do with my license. Nowhere do they specify that they only do training for tractor trailer(class A) and bus (class B with Passenger (P) endorsement. I walked all the way over there just to have them look at me like I'm stupid.. I told them I have a cdl B, I don't have a P endorsement and I don't need it to drive armored trucks.. Their response was "you only have B? How does that work?" wtf? So it took them a while to figure out that I'm not there to drive a bus. Then told me Ferrari has box trucks.. So I was sent away. Thank you Ena's driving school! You guys should advertise better that you only do training for class d cars, tractor trailers and buses. If you advertise that you do training for class B, make sure it's training for all class B vehicles.. Not just a bus. To Ferrari I go. Want to significantly increase your chances of getting your driver's license on the first try? If so, walk your ass into this place and confidently take your chances with Ena's. Because of their effective instructors, I passed on my very first try. I've never drove a car before taking driving courses with Ena's too. Office assistants always show responsibility by friendly reminding you about upcoming appointments. One of them, however, naturally acts slow and told me last minute that my appointment has been cancelled because the car broke down. -_- That means everyone's appointment that day was cancelled too. Uhm, she clearly made something up and was super vague about it. That's why I would give them a 4/5 stars. Nevertheless, I encourage first-time drivers to deff take the 10 classes. Their customer support is horrible. They keep making you wait on the line then hang up on you. I already paid $380 for 10 lessons and for the last week I have been unable to even get on the phone to schedule my road test or any further lessons. They dont let you take the road test without 5 lessons, Ive taken my 5 lessons and everytime I call they make me wait on hold then after 10 minutes they hang up. I don't know where to start. I've been dealing with this school since June for whatever reason. I already had my CDL B and worked for MTA as a bus operator. I wanted to get my CDL A License. I found this school online and it had a good package. Now, I didn't know stick shift and called and asked if I needed to know stick already. I was told no i didn't and would learn from them. Ok, I paid $750 for my 5 lesson package and booked lessons thru the phone. On my first lesson, I show up to get the instructor "Hector" to come in and say," Do you know how to drive stick?" No, i don't i said. He says I can't let you drive then because you can break my clutch. Ummmm ok, well the school told me you would teach me. Isn't this a DRIVING SCHOOL?!?. He goes inside and talks to them and comes out and says ok lets see how it goes. He expects me to know how to do it. I made the tractor stall and he said, " you need to learn on a car and come back" and he said go talk to them and we can figure it out another time. I was in and out of the tractor for 5 minutes. Wasted my time and day off for this. I told the lady that I'm going to see if I can learn on a car( which they don't teach) and I'll be in touch. I learned on a car/jeep( another $90) and said I want to try again but if it doesn't work then I want my money back. They should have told me before I paid them that I needed to know. Now, I booked another lesson and I got better on stick and it seemed the instructor had a better attitude. Once Hector gets to know you, he will talk a lot and be friendly. He's very hyper and sometimes you're trying to ask questions about what to do on the road test and he's talking about crazy crazy things. He will make you drive him to White Castle on your driving time and you sit in the tractor while he eats. It's very UNprofessional but whatever. Anyway, I did my 5 lessons and even booked a few single ones( another $400), Took my road test and failed it. I wish Hector would have showed me more but he thinks you already know it since he does. Ok, So I decided that I wanted to finally do it again because I wanted my A license. I booked another ($750) package and did better and finally passed it but I feel like I was taught a little but since, I already had my CDL B and drove from the MTA. I basically did it on my own. Spent about (2K) to barely got taught and to use their tractor. ALSO, the receptionists are very UNPROFESSIONAL. They try to double charge you and say you didn't pay when you did. They don't note things. I paid on Paypal and had all my receipts. They had the nerve to say i didn't pay. Watch your self here. Save all receipts. ALSO, they sometimes forget and don't note when you have a lesson or a road test! I booked a lesson a week in advance and got called to move it a few times. I set up the 10 lesson package which included the lessons, 5hr class, car for road test and road test appointment for my daughter for $425. You cannot make payments online or over the phone, so you have to go there in person. The lessons are 45mins each but it's hard to get an appointment. They're always booked. Especially if you want the same instructor. On the day of the road test, the gentleman that drove them to the test site was so negative. He kept saying if you do these different things, you will definitely fail the test. He made my daughter so nervous that she failed the test as soon as she turned the corner. I called the school on 5/23/18 to advise them of what transpired. They said they would talk to him and they will call her with a new test date and I would have to pay $20 fee. I know motor vehicles allows two times to take the test before paying another fee. I have called them repeatedly since and was told the Motor Vehicle website didn't have any availability for at least 6 months. I explained that someone should've tried to contact us. The girl said there was a list of people needing dates for the road test. I went on the Motor Vehicle website and was able to set up another test date right away. Afterwards, I booked lessons with another school which is costing me more money. My advice to anyone is to stay away from this school. read more

At first there were confusions when trying to pick a specific driver that I wanted. i went through 2 drivers until I found the perfect one for me. Edwardo (Ed) was the best. He taught me so much and was so diligent about things. he gave me the confidence to drive and made me feel safe on the road. I would recommend this place to all my friends. We have used this driving school before and never had a problem until Ms. Rasha who refused to schedule my son lessons. I recommend using the other wonderful lady with GREAT customer service skills. Very irresponsible and unorganized. First time I had a lesson my instructor was LATE than while I was driving he was on the phone not paying me much attention. When the day comes for my road test I call them because after they told me my date they never followed up as to how I should get there what time I should be there or what I should bring. Then when I call and speak to someone I was given an attitude and told that I had CANCELLED my own road test. Which I know I didn't. Starting with the receptionist (the Indian lady) she has a nasty attitude and very unprofessional. Rolls her eyes while she taking to you, give you sassy attitude when you ask a question and she very argumentative. The owner in the back doesn't help and brushes you off. In addition they randomly cancel you section with instructors. On Wednesday January 5, 2016 I went into Ena's Driving School to purchase a driving package. This package included 11 lessons, road test schedule, and a car for the road test for $355.00. On January 19, 2016 Babita (the women behind the counter who coordinates everyone's lessons and schedule their road test) called me to inform me that I was scheduled for my road test on February 19, 2016. After receiving my road test date, she began to schedule me for all my lessons so I would be prepared before the road test. On 2/4/16 my instructor never showed up, 2/6/2016 my lesson was canceled, on 2/7/16 my lesson was canceled, On 2/9/16 my instructor was 1 hour late. The level of customer service is extremely poor, not to mention the fact that their wasting my time. On 2/18/16 Babita calls me and leaves a voicemail confirming that my road test is set for 2/19/16 at 1:00pm in Laurelton, Queens. I arrived to the Ena's driving school at 10:30am. Babita informs me that something happened and I no longer have a road test appointment. Babita stated that it was a glitch with the DMV system. She later changed her story stating that their was another new girl handling the schedules for road test appointments. She then instructed me to wait and go to the road test site. It is now 1:00pm I am waiting at the test site and the DMV supervisor informs me that I cannot take my test because I was not scheduled. I go back to Ena's to speak to the "supervisor" Raj. He was very nonchalant and rude. He simply stated to me that he could not do anything for me. The only he could do is reschedule my exam and allow me use their car. He told me he was doing me a favor for even providing that service. Doing me a favor? I paid $355 for a package. All of that is included. So I have not received a new date and the next time frame available is for April. So I will have to go 1 month without lessons because I used them for an anticapted road test I was never scheduled for. This is poor customer service. I truly feel used and abused. I took my driving test almost 12 hours ago and I am still smiling! I had previously bought a package from Access2Drive, and while my instructor did teach me to drive, he didn't teach me how to drive well. I failed when I took it the first time in September. My instructor at Ena's was John and he really showed me what the test requires and how to be a safe driver. He was real with me, patient, and encouraging. The testers from the DMV are looking to see whether you're checking your blind spots, staying in your lane, and observant of what's going on around you, and I feel that John totally and completely prepared me for this. My one gripe, however, is the office. I mostly dealt with Bebe, and she was awesome. But it seemed as though there was a lack of communication between the people in the office. I found out about my road test 2 weeks prior, even though I had been calling every week to see if they had a date for me. And even on the day of my road test, they "forgot" what time they told me to get there. Nevertheless, I'm happy and it was all worth it. Save yourself time, money, and heartbreak and use Ena's. I've read some positive reviews about Ena's Driving School, however my experience was mostly negative. In the summer of 2011, I had an instructor named Ronald F. who seemed okay at first, but then became abusive. He would yell at me if I made mistakes and would find fault with practically everything I did. He was very hard to please and I was a nervous wreck around him. He really lacked the patience to deal with total newcomers to driving. I eventually requested another instructor named Wayne who had a relaxed and calm demeanor. I contacted this school and let them know my permit is set to expired in October they said it would not be an issue so I scheduled my 5 hour class and was ready to go. 1st they always were short with me when I called. 2nd they always made it seem it was a hassle to scedule classes and wanted to schedule with different instructors. 3rd there driver canceled on me and when I called back to reschedule they tried to say I canceled. 4th I sat on the phone with a very young girl for about 30 min while she went back and forth with another person in the office to scedule all of my classes finally and what happened half of them were not scheduled and the other half were scheduled for the wrong time. What is the results well I have a newborn so when you have to get a sitter and your waiting around for a lesson that was not scheduled..... my road test is on the 12th of august and I've only had one lesson..... you have to rush to find a new school and now pay even more money to get your classes short notice. I chose this school after reading lots of positive reviews online. I have to say that my personal experience was completely opposite. I already have my license but since I hadn't driven in a long time, I wanted some refresher lessons. I called and booked three consecutive lessons five days in advance. The receptionist, "Lorita/Lavita" who scheduled them for me contacted me the morning of my lesson to tell me that she would like to move my 10am to 1pm. I explained that I had to pick up my son at school and had to keep my 10am. She proceeded to tell me the driver only had afternoon appointments for the day and I was his only morning appointment..... "okay, and? How is that my problem?"..... She kept putting me on hold without telling me she was and when she'd return to the line she was extremely rude. Because I made a big stink, they found me another instructor. This was the only positive thing that happened. I got a teacher named Raphael, very nice guy. I asked if he would be my same instructor for my next two lessons and he said "no, but you can request me". So I call the school after my 1st lesson and request my next two lessons are with Raphael. It meant having to keep lesson #2 with someone else, okay. Lesson #3 was changed to Raphael and I added a lesson #4, also with Raphael. Feasible, cool. Lesson #2 day arrives and no one showed up for my morning lesson. No call, no cancellation. Nothing. I call the school and they say there must have been a mix up. Are you kidding?! I am assured no more mistakes after this second screw up. I'm trying to maintain my composure. I am confirmed for the next few days. Now since there was a no-show they have to add another day. This means a 7am Sunday class as there is nothing else available. I'm desperate and take it since I have to go back to work the next week and don't have any more days available for lessons. At almost 8pm the night beofre lesson #2, I get a call saying that lesson #2 has been cancelled (which really should have been lesson #3). Excuse me? Cancelled?! I'm told I can take a class the following week or get another instructor. "I can't do it next week, I have to work"!!!! What the heck is up with these people!? I ask to speak to the manager, he says "I'm the owner, my name is Harry". I tell him I'm fed up with the negative experience and the run around I have gotten from his establishment and that I was going to give him a horrible review and his reply was "fine". What a jerk! He doesn't care! This place is so unprofessional. I have chosen another school for lessons. I would never recommend Ena's. They are too laid back, and have zero experience in customer service. They set up driving lessons at their schedule and not accommodating to the student. When I called to try to make something work for my schedule and asked to speak to a supervisor I was given the runaround. I was told the supervisor would call me when she got in. I called again to ask if anyone could help me and was told that every time I called I would be told to wait on a manager and that no one would help me. UNBELIEVABLE. So after getting the runaround for another hour. I go in there only to speak to the so called manager that was coming in and have her tell me that she was sick and just came out the hospital and wasn't coming in. So that means they knew she wasn't coming in and gave me the runaround. So now to get my money back it's another hassle cause it's via PayPal and takes way too long. So just keep this in mind when thinking about going to this business. They only want your money and do not care about accommodating. I stopped getting calls to schedule my future lessons, I had to physically call and ask if there are any lesson dates available, then I called to schedule my road test and was told the dates are at the end of May and they will call me with the exact day. Because I'm on a schedule to get my license for working purposes, I was very excited about this. Waited a full week for the call with the date that never came, called back and was told they have me scheduled for the wrong location and to have the test at the location of my choice it's at the END of June! A full month later than I was told. When asked if I can speak to the person in charge, I was told "call back some other time and see if they're in cuz they're not in right now" when I asked when they would be in the person I spoke to said they don't know....
