Nocatee Preserve Trail - nice grippy dirt to ride on

Mountain bike trails are cleared back and are being kept clear. Nocatee Preserve has approximately…read more5+ miles of wildlife preserve single track trails and an additional 7 miles of double track in the beautiful wooded preserve. Nocatee is a quiet trail where you might see one or two groups of people and mostly wildlife. You will have the trails to yourself and it is a perfect way to wind down on your bike after a long stressed week of work. Come out and enjoy a day away from the rat race.

Bird watching and even photographing nature's finest is also great here. Large variety of plants and wildlife. The MTB trails here are mostly singletracks. It's well maintained for the most part. Great trails for beginners and for those looking to get better. The Bad: Nocatee Preserve Trail is situated in a swamp or I guess, wetlands. Some areas are low lying. At around Mile 2 or 3, some areas tend to flood or collect water especially after some hard rain, which makes it not suitable to hike nor bike towards. In light of this, expect lots of insect activities. The Ugly: During the hotter months (especially Summer months)... the bugs here can be downright vicious. Yellow flies, Horse flies, Mosquitos, amongst others, are VERY VICIOUS. There's also Ticks (I call them NocaTICKS); they give me the eebie jeebies. So make sure you bring and use Insect Repelents. As a matter of fact, just go ahead and bathe in insect repellents. And there's some Pretty: I would say the best time to come here in my humble Yelp opinion, would be between Nov - Feb, when the temperatures are nice and cool. Happy Trails to You!!!

He's really into parkour, and the weekly program gives him a great mix of structured learning and active play. The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable, and I appreciate that they break the kids into smaller groups of about eight, which helps keep things more manageable. That said, with so many kids in the gym at once, it can get a bit chaotic. The instructors rotate frequently, which makes it harder to track individual progress, but on the plus side, it means my son gets to learn from different coaching styles. The staff is on the younger side, but they bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm, which keeps the kids engaged. One thing I really like is how they change up the course and layout every week and focus on different themes to keep things fresh and exciting. Overall, it's been a great experience, and my son always looks forward to going. A little more consistency with coaching would be nice, but if your kid is into parkour, this is a great place to train and have fun! They also offer a paid trial class and fee for open gym if you're interested in checking it out. They also have themed special events such as Fortnite Night, Minecraft, Ninja Warrior Night, etc. They also offer options for camp and focused clinics.

The coaches have all been really great, especially Coach Addison and Coach Nick. They are all very patient with my 4 year old son and work hard to keep the kids safe. The facilities look well kept and clean, especially from all the classes they have. This is a place I hope to bring my children to for a long time!

Nocatee Kayak Launch is located directly across the intracoastal from Palm Valley Outdoors. There is plenty of room for parking and a launch that is accessible in all tides. This kayak Launch is open to everyone. There were a few people posted up around the launch area fishing. Everyone was very friendly. The launch itself is technically in a no wake zone although some boats don't adhere to this so make sure you brace yourself for the occasional big wake. On our trip we saw many birds and turtles. Others we know have seen dolphins in the area. You will see lots of houses on the water (especially if you go north) but there are still plenty of interesting side channels and wildlife if you stick to the edge of the water. If you are in the area and want to get on the water this is the place for you!
