    what I ordered

What stood out most about my experience wasn't the flowers--it was the astonishing lack of professionalism. After spending more than $140 on what was advertised as a premium arrangement and leaving a 25% tip, I somehow found myself in an argument worthy of reality television. Instead of receiving the product I paid for, I was met with a bait-and-switch, excuses about the missing arrangement, name-calling, and a level of gaslighting that deserves its own Olympic event. The individual I believe to be the owner repeatedly insisted that the flowers had been personally delivered to the recipient during happy hour. That's quite an impressive feat considering the recipient never received them. When I questioned the situation, I was insulted over the phone and told to use my "cheap tip" to hire a prostitute. Apparently, asking where $140 worth of flowers disappeared to is now considered unreasonable customer behavior. For the record, this conversation was on speakerphone and was heard by both my husband and a friend of the intended recipient. So if there was any concern that this was a misunderstanding, there were multiple witnesses to the performance. At the end of the day, mistakes happen. Orders get mixed up. Deliveries go wrong. What most businesses don't do is insult paying customers, invent delivery stories, and then double down when questioned. The missing flowers were frustrating. The behavior afterward was what made this experience truly unforgettable -- and not in the way any business would hope to be remembered. After seeing the truly tacky arrangement, I am calling my credit card company for a chargeback. I hope he can recover from the $2.00 in flowers he presented late to the bartender at Streetbar. They kindly put them in their walk-in, so he got them the next day.

Here's a photo of it at the recipient's home

Being that this florist only had three stars, I should've been more careful to look at the reviews. Out of 12 reviews, six of them are poor. Not a very good average. I called this florist because I wanted something delivered on Sunday and they were the only florist that was open. It should've been a red flag to me when the man that took my order on the phone started to get flippant with me. I had asked if he could please deliver it that day - he said he couldn't guarantee that, and I explained that the reason why I selected his flower shop was because it was important to me that it get there that day because my friend's wife had just died. Otherwise I could've selected somebody closer to the recipients home. After I said that he started acting very uppity and acted insulted that I might have chosen a different flower shop. His attitude right there should have been a warning to me, but against my better judgment, I decided to place the order with him anyway. I used to be a floral designer myself, I actually went to school for it. I worked as a designer for 16 years, including I was the manager & head designer at the in-house flower shop at the Anaheim Hilton. I handled both orders and flower purchases for the shop, so I am fully aware of both retail and wholesale prices. I will say that I did appreciate that they delivered it on the day of. And the arrangement was pretty, but I know how much flowers actually cost, and what they delivered was not worth $100. It was a very tiny arrangement for $100. I hate to say it, but I could've gotten a larger arrangement from a supermarket for a lot less. I know he might dispute this review but I just had to voice my disappointment. Once again, I appreciated that they did get it out on Sunday, but had I known that the flower arrangement would be so small, I would've waited till the next day and ordered one from a florist that was closer. This florist doesn't charge delivery so I'm sure that the cost of delivery came out of the value of the arrangement. But three or four roses, one Lilly, two broken Delphinium , a few lisianthus, and a stem of cushion mums with leather Fern and lemon leaf (the cheapest greenery available) doesn't add up to the $100 price point in my experience.. regardless of retail markup. (usually seven to one for most shops.) So anyhow, the point of my review is that for the price point of $100 I feel I did not get the value I was expecting. Also, one last point, they texted me ahead of time with a photo of the arrangement and when I asked why it did not include Beargrass or curly Willow (per my request ) the response which I believe was from the same man I took the order from, again seemed rather defensive. I don't know which bothers me more, the small size of the arrangement or the attitude I received, but I feel customer service is important, something that seems to be lacking these days, and again I feel that $100 at most flower shops would have resulted in a larger arrangement with a little more visual impact. Just my experience and my two cents.

The flower arrangements from Jeremy and staff at Enchanted Floral are beautiful. The flowers are always fresh and last a long time. Very pretty selection of flowers that are bright colors. Highly recommend Enchanted Floral - you won't be disappointed!

I wasn't just following trends, I was ahead of them. I wore things before they hit, before they made sense to anyone else. That takes effort, instinct, and money. It's a different kind of life. And unless you're in it every single day, on the creative or design side, you slowly lose touch with what's emerging now. Walking into Mojave Flea Trading Post brought all of that back in a very real way. I feel completely comfortable in a space like this, but it also reminds me of a version of myself that used to help shape what people wore. There's a quiet nostalgia to it. Not regret, just awareness. I don't need to be that person anymore. Now I care about different things. I look for natural fabrics like 100% cotton and linen, pieces that breathe, pieces that feel good on your skin and don't come with all the hidden downsides. And this store delivers on that. There are racks of thoughtfully curated items that feel both current and wearable, coming from new designers who are clearly paying attention. It's not just clothing. It's a point of view. And what makes it even better is the space itself. There's a matcha spot and a small food area tucked into the back where you can sit, slow down, and just enjoy being there. It turns a shopping trip into something more like an experience. This is a genuinely great addition to Palm Springs. The kind of place that gives the city a little more edge, a little more relevance. Palm Springs is lucky to have it.
