I agree with some of the more recent reviews that talk about the rudeness and arrogance of the staff here. I've tried coming 5 plus times and also emailing. They typically respond with non-answers and act annoyed by very simple questions (i.e. do you have xyz in stock). Or you'll ask if they have a product to take care of x problem and they tell you it isn't a problem (um, actually it was). The site is quaint and attractive but the staff's behavior makes it no longer worth it. They also need to improve the organization of the site and product labeling so we don't have to talk to the staff in the first place. read more

This use to be my go to place, but as of recent prices have jumped, decomposed granite for contractor was just sold to me for 50.00 a yard. Hard to justify almost double the cost from other competitors. But they are always nice when you go in, and if you are in a pinch it is close. read more

I don't even where know where to start. Rude staff, owner, and coordinator. It was HOT inside the bridal cabin and the reception hall. Thermostat said 77 degrees while we were there. The bridal cabin that was paid extra for, to stay the night doesn't have a bed- only a DISGUSTING futon that was stained up, they ended up not staying because they didnt find out there was not a bed til a couple of weeks before. So that was wasted money, as was the extra they paid for venue to do the clean up, bit night of, all of a sudden the venue claimed they don't offer that now. Not impressed with the organization or look of venue. Also, the bathrooms in the reception area were disgusting upon our arrival. One "stall" (shower curtain divider)was out of order, the other looked like they had not cleaned the toilet in months. To make it even better, the bartender who claimed to be the owner, was helping herself to the beer that has bought by the bride and groom while working and was not offered to her by anyone. They tried ripping the 2 year old flower girl from her mom (bridesmaid) to have her walk in last, even after the mom and several of the wedding party asked to let her walk with her mom since she was obviously upset. Could go on and on, save your money and go with a venue that actually will make your day special and what you were hoping for. This place was a disaster. 100% would not recommend the venue. read more

This is my go-to garden store since I discovered them a few years ago. Great service and advice, healthy plants with great variety and a superb selection of soils and mulches for the lawn and garden. The tomatoes we got this year are over 6' tall and produced a bumper crop of heirloom, Italian and grape varieties. Check them out, you won't be disappointed. read more

Absolutely the best and I'm very picky, would not go the day before Mother's Day, crowded and confusing but they had the trees and plants we needed and delivered the following Monday, just nobody to install the plants -- helpful staff. read more

the store is super nice, well decorated, and most workers are super helpful. but a lot of the workers are wearing non-proper masks (for example- a bandanna that's almost see through) and kept on bugging us on how many minutes are left before they close even though we were about to check out (at least the last time i went with two friends) enchanted gardens is my favorite nursery but it's been disappointing me the last few times i was there. read more

NOW we're talking! I'm a lifelong gardener and went here for the first time today (I'm buying trees this time)...the place is wonderful. Huge selection, everything is healthy (you would think this would be a given at a nursery, but often this isn't the case), and the prices are very, very fair. Every time we go to this place we leave enjoying it even more. These people really know what the heck they are talking about. We had their works install plants and they showed up as planned and cleaned up prior to leaving. Of course, if you go to a big box store you may save a few dollars but if you want great service and want a wide selection take the drive into the country. read more

My favorite nursery in all of Houston and the surrounding area is Enchanted Garden . I began going there almost 8years ago when I lived in Katy . I now live inside the loop but make a pilgrimage 2-4 times per year to see all the lovely displays of the seasonal flowers and plants. It is a great opportunity to get ideas on planters and garden as well as get advise and help . The staff is always helpful and willing to take you to all the different parts of the nursery to pick out what you want . I have found their succulent selection to be the absolute best !!! If you have not been , it is worthwhile to take a drive out there !!! read more

Horribly rude. I came a LONG way to get a specific plant they happened to have. I got there a few minutes before they closed and the worker outside told me to hurry cause they were about to close. The 4 girls in the front (one was the owner) refused to sell me the ONE plant because they were closing soon (in 3 minutes). Then one of then laughed loudly at me as I walked out. Also their driveway needs some serious tending too, it's got pot holes all over it. read more

I recently started going to Enchanted Gardens for all of my gardening needs. They not only have very healthy plants but knowledgable English-speaking employees to assist you with everything from what to plant, to where to plant. Their frequent classes and fun events are also much appreciated and something you'll not find in most other nurseries/garden centers. I can not tell you how much difference switching from the run-of-the-mill Home Depot or Houston Garden Center plants to Enchanted Gardens has made in our yard. We are also following their recommendations for lawn care ( found on a tear-off sheet at check-out) and our yard has never looked better. read more

Great nursery w/ knowledgeable staff, extensive and HEALTHY plant selection and competitive prices. On weekends they offer 1 hr lectures on lawn maint, fruit trees, container gardening, etc. which are pertinent to our area. They also have a gift shop and a petting zoo which can keep kids entertained while you shop. Highly recommend. read more

Cool place to find pricey items... this place is not cheap but has great stuff and is fun for kids. There are two nurseries I think owned by the same people... enchanted gardens and enchanted forest. One of them has a goat named earl and chickens which kids love. Call before going to be sure which one has earl the goat because I always ride out there with my mom and she always drives and we always go to both... so I can't remember which is which. read more

We have loved both enchanted gardens and enchanted forest since we discovered them several years ago. However, today's experience confirmed that service is going down. We came to purchase a full fairy garden kit for a dear friend's daughter who just lost her father to cancer. We asked for help picking out fairy garden items but the staff was not interested in assisting us and told us that everything they had was in the store. After we picked out our items on our own, the checkout staff was unfriendly as well. The fairy garden purchase was $100 for a handful of items and I asked for some extra tissue paper (some was used to wrap some of the fairy items) so we could drop off the present right away and I was told that I could only have 2 pieces (it's just tissue paper and I just spent $100!). Then I mentioned I forgot to purchase potting soil and was rudely told there are many types and which one did I want. I asked for a small bag that would be enough for the fairy garden planter and she just pointed to the back of the store and said they said some options there. I asked for help in locating them and she seemed miffed that she had to assist me. No "thank you" was said for our purchase. Again, we normally have a great experience and our children love this whimsical nursery but service was completely rude today and it felt more like a stogy business place rather than a family friendly place that they advertise themselves to be. read more
