I lean between a 3 and a 4 for Cultivar depending on what you're looking for in a plant shop. It's great for a few very specific types of plants (mostly variegated philodendrons and monsteras) and their general focus seems to be the more trendy rare plants. They also have a few kinds of other plants like epis, Hoyas, and syngoniums. As more of a Hoya collector, Cultivar didn't wow me but I will say I've never seen so many variegated monsteras in one room. If you're more of a philodendron or monstera collector, Cultivar has one of the larger selections of the more trendy rare variegated plants that I've seen, e.g. monstera albos and aureas, variegated perus, variegated bipens, strawberry shakes, etc. As expected with these kinds of plants, the prices are expensive, but the plants looked very healthy and had good roots. Tip: A lot of these plants are also listed and photographed on their website if you want to browse online/get an idea of what's in the store before coming in store. Logistics: Located in La Centerra it's a great place to stop by if you're shopping in the center. It can get pretty difficult to park nearby over the weekends, so be prepared to look for a spot or come early.

To my plant lovers this is definitely a place you need to stop by if you are in the Cinco Ranch area. They offer exotic plants, I am one who does not really have a green thumb but I'm slowly learning. Walking in to here was very peace. They also offer planting pot and and other specialty items. The employee was nice and helpful.

If you ever want to splurge on a rare plant or even just want to see a bunch of them in person, this is a great place to do that. I wish I could've looked at their merchandise more. They had super cute monstera pillows, pots, and keychains. I bought a Syngonium Albo for $15 and I'm so happy with my purchase!

I was super nervous order plants off a online shop that I had never heard of. But was blown away once I received my order. I am newer to the plant world and wanted something special and that's just what I got. Anyone looking for amazing plants definitely check them out

I love the origination of this nursery & how helpful the person was working this morning. If you're looking for exotic plants to add to your collection. I would recommend checking out this nursery! And they have great prices!

The best plant store in the Houston area still!! I love it these plants are all healthy and stunning. I've bought my plants from here and they're still growing strong. The variety is insane here and they offer great discounts. Incredible atmosphere and I'll definitely be coming back.

The staff are simply wonderful, genuinely friendly, and extremely helpful. Also, they hand out KOI pellets to those of us who are addicted to them. I have had the privilege and pet the KOI while feeding. It's unlike any other experience you've had. My most recent visit was to pick up some "Dirty Dirt" which is dirt made from food waste compost from the Heights area of Houston. While they're much more expensive, its top quality product and all of my plants thrive living in it. I planted my most recent batch of garden plants, several different types of Certified Organic/Non-GMO potatoes (the plants are sprouting thru the dirt and it's only been a week!). In addition, I got an Orange tree, Swiss Mint, and a few other little goodies for my back yard. The staff answered all of my questions and I went home feeling like I had a true experience. I spent 2.5 hours there, they were very peaceful and happy 2.5 hours. I highly recommend spending some time here.

If you have a koi pond or are thinking of getting one, start here. They had so many in various sizes, an assortment of fish, lillies and other water plants, fountains... and then your regular nursery selection. We bought some stuff for algae control, a water pump, and some faux wood floaters made from cork.

Worst experience !!!! I give them zero star!!! Horrible horrible service!! I'm gonna upload…read morepictures so you can see how bad this flower shop is! I just want say if you have pictures on your website and your Coustomers order is based on those pictures, you better make the order exactly like the picture! My order looked like it was made by a six year old kid, with flowers from a backyard or something !! If you should just take down the pictures from your website and just put the words "flower arrangement" because apparently you make whatever you want anyway

Three days before Valentine's Day, my boss comes up to me:…read more"I need you to make a reservation for my wife and her two friends on the 14th at such and such restaurant." "No prob." "Oh, also, it would be 'pretty cool' if you could buy each of them a bouquet of flowers and have them sent to the restaurant so that they're there when the ladies get to their table. Thanks." "I .... what??" On what is arguably THE busiest day for both florists and restaurants alike, you want me to magically pull 3 specially-delivered bouquets and a nice restaurant reservation out of my WHAT?! In desperation, I make my call to Katy Flower Market. I spoke with Darwin, who took all my information and - even though on Valentine's Day they cannot guarantee a time, and I could tell my request was far-fetched and somewhat difficult for them to do on such a busy day - had my roses delivered straight to the restaurant well before their reservation. My boss showed me a picture of the three bouquets, and the flowers were gorgeous - fresh roses that were just barely blooming, so I knew they would last longer than a day or two. I was nervous that, in placing my order so late, that the flowers would be the "leftovers," but these bunches were carefully arranged and quite lovely. In terms of pricing, it is on par with other florists in the area. They have the same styles at comparable prices. No complaints at all with the pricing. I am so impressed (an almost impossible feat with me) with the courtesy of the staff and the extra mile they went to help make my boss' last-minute idea come to fruition. I would absolutely recommend Katy Flower Market to anyone in Houston who is looking for a florist.

After giving us the golf cart tour, she gave us several flags to place in containers of the trees we liked and then John helped us narrow down and select the perfect sizes for our backyard. We chose three 15-gallon Eagleston Hollies (5-6' planted) because we're DIYers; however, Bownds also offers delivery and planting services. If you've been shocked by the skyrocketing price of trees at the usual locations, then you will be pleasantly surprised at the pocket-friendly pricing Bownds extends to retail customers. Do not expect a large staff or miscellaneous garden center plants, this is a family-run business that specializes in trees and only trees. We will be returning soon for more trees to complete our backyard-to-park makeover.
