There were 4 staff there when I went in and everyone was so friendly and helpful. They made suggestions, confirmed the way items looked on me. Sometimes you need a good helpful second opinion before a purchase. Since I looked at the stores website before I came, I knew for sure some pieces I wanted right away. I lucked up and got a cute Ralph Lauren dress and a Georgio Armani dress. I bought some jewelry and some Amina Muaddi shoes. And a cute chill pill purse. I will definitely be buying more items from them when in town or on their website.

No problem. They let me pick them up. Fast forward, I needed to pick up the rest of the shoes. Now my son has to email, he does. Now my son has to send over his ID before I can pick up. He does.Now my son has to do this do that. Eventually I went in and asked for the items. I had to come back. Four times we did this. Then I told my son to call them that I was coming to get the shoes . I went in last Friday and asked for the shoes back. I got one pair. I told them there was a pair missing. couldn't seem to recollect. I asked them to pull out the original consignment ticket. Voila, now they see there's a missing pair of shoes. However they don't know what happened to them but here, " Take this donation slip, It's for your tax deductions. They probably have been sent over to a charity." So I asked them, Well, how am I supposed to know that, if you don't know that." I said No. I want my shoes back. They say " all right take the shoes we can find and we'll have Maurie call you on Monday. I said no, I'm not picking up my items piece meal. Find the missing shoes and I'll pick them up all together. Then Vicky comes out from the back office and says " I want you to pick up the shoes we can find and come back on Monday and we'll try and find them" I said " No" I told her "I hear what you want me to do, but hear what I don't want to do and respect that." All of a sudden she pulls a " You are harassing me. I feel threatened by you right now, leave my establishment" move on me and signals to one of the shop girls to maybe press the alarm or something. So I whip out my phone and ask her to tell me how I have threatened her if all I am asking for are my items back. I ask her several times to tell me which part of our discussion constituted a threat to her safety. I told her "I feel threatened" was a ploy to get out of a difficult situation/conversation. All of this while I was recording. I advised her I was a member of the State Bar of Texas for 23 years and a 77019 neighbor for over 20 years before I left her dusty establishment. 10 minutes later my son receives a call asking him to come pick up the check for the shoes previously allegedly "donated" I told him categorically not to go there because if I as a 5 "6 professional grown black woman could get the " I feel threatened" trick pulled on me, how much more my 6 "4 black son. Then Vicky tells him to tell me to come back to pick up the check. " No, Vicky, you can mail it with the shoes I left behind." Remember " you feel threatened"? This treatment after years of doing business with them was a sober reminder that people will " criminalize" you to get out of a difficult situation. I texted the black dude that works there to ask him " how he can work for that awful woman" and he apologized for the treatment I received. I will NEVER return there and if you're a person of color, take your money and goods elsewhere. Shame on Vicky.

I never did hear from the owner, so I'm pretty sure it was not mentioned but would likely want to return, but I would probably not give them multiple items as it may be confusing to the person who monogrammed. They do have some really cute items in stock, so I would absolutely return for those cute specialty items.

Read the bad reviews to determine if you want to put yourself through what myself and countless others have dealt with regarding the owner and the way they treat their paying customers. We bought two brand new bags for our two babies to use for school and we wanted their names (12 letters total) sown on the front. Took the bags in and discussed different designs with owner, Brittany, and we came up with a design for each bag. We paid for the bags and left them with Brittany and were told they should be done by the end of the week, if not we will call you and they should be ready the week of spring break. 3 weeks went by and my wife and I both called the store, sent messages via IG and emails with no response. I decided to drop (30 minutes away) by to the store to see if the bags were ready after over 3 weeks of being ghosted and no returned phone calls or updates. I walk in to an employee named Georgia who asks about our order. I tell her we dropped off a few weeks ago and we're waiting to hear back about whether they were ready or not. Georgia goes into back room and cannot find our bags. She finally finds them at the top shelf in a bigger bag and they looked like they had not moved from that spot since the day we dropped them off with Brittany, 3 weeks ago. Georgia says they will get with Brittany and have these ready for us in a few days. My wife asks me 5+ times if she needs to clarify with them the designs and color scheme to make sure they don't forget so she even reaches out to Brittany and asks if we need to go back over what we talked about some 3 1/2 weeks ago now and Brittany simply responded something like "no, all good." As predicted, it was not all good, when my wife went to pick up the bags the next day, my son's name was spelled wrong. Brittany said she would fix it, no problem. We get a call a few days later that his bag is ready for pick up. Some 4 weeks later now. When we show up to pick up my son's bag, the quality is terrible and it is off-centered. My son's name is "ONIX" she spelt it "ONYX" then unstitched the "YX" and replaced it with the "IX". It was off-center due to this. Brittany actually told me that she took all the letters out and re-stitched the entire "ONIX" off-centered meaning she didn't center it or she is lying about removing all 4 letters and starting over. Back to the quality of the bags, stitching is coming out and I pointed it out to her and she told me "not to mess with it or it would come out" I looked at her and said, these bags are for kids, they are going to get knocked around. At this point, Brittany was rattled. I think she thought we're just going to accept these bags the way they were as she told me she did not feel she needed to reimburse us for anything as we paid her to embroider the names and the names were clearly on the bags like we asked. It did not matter whether we were satisfied and that is the real reason for this review. Not only is Brittany an unorganized liar, she is also very rude and really never treated us like paying customers after she took our money. I asked Brittany why there was a delay with our bags, she said that was her fault and she takes responsibility for that. It was only then, that Brittany was starting to understand the situation here. She then, almost within 5 minutes, changed her mind and now did feel compelled to "fix" the bag and reimburse us. After leaving her store for the 4th time empty handed, I finally came back the next week to find the bag in the condition you see in the pictures of this post. Brittany never said another word to us about the bags. At one point I even asked her if she wanted US to buy a new bag so SHE could start from scratch. She said no of course and that she could fix it and we wouldn't even be able to tell there had been stitching placed and then pulled and re-stitched and then removed again. As of today, we still have not been reimbursed by Brittany or the store.

Friday comes, I track my shoes, and it says "Attempted delivery, no answer." Of course I had been waiting all day, so I was upset and called fedex to let them know absolutely no one had been to my home for a delivery. The lady asks me to verify my name and address only to tell me the street address was off by one number and I need to contact the merchant whom ship the package to overwrite and correct the shipping label. I called the store and spoke with Jose, whom was unapologetic and said it was no big deal, he could have them fix the shipping label and they'll be delivered by tomorrow, only for him to call right back and say they won't allow him to overwrite the shipping label. They'll have to send him the package back for him to create a new label, which means I would be getting the shoe Monday since it was already Friday evening. Jose B. made it as if it was no big deal. A mistake was made on their end, with little to non apology. I missed the delivery guy Monday, March 28. Now, I finally got the box today only to open it and the Bottega V shoe box is torn, the bag is raggedy, overall not happy with this purchase and this is one brand I might have to not revisit.
