I'll give the benefit of the doubt, this just isn't the coffee shop for me. I had a long event day in the area, so I decided to beat the traffic and get to this part of town earlier than I normally would. Just wanted a place to work on my computer, and ultimately that's what I got. Enchanted Grounds is a cafe and game emporium. Like for real, they have such a huge selection of games. If you are into that, I truly love that for you! As far as the cafe is concerned, the best part was not paying Denver coffee prices! Only a few bucks for an iced coffee, god bless America. The staff weren't all that friendly or interested in talking to customers. It definitely gives off humble, rainy day coffeehouse vibes and that's not a bad thing. Bright, tacky colored walls, one guy was sleeping in one of the booths, a giant group of 80+ year olds at the big community table, and gamers galore on a Wednesday afternoon. It's low key, wifi was fine, coffee was fine. Nothing stood out for me personally. Considering it's close to an hour away odds of me coming back aren't high. I wish them the best! read more

I used to be a huge fan of this place, recomendibg them to anyone on the south side of town. But unfortunately a recent experience has really soured me on them. For a MtG prerelease with very limited seats, for a set I was very excited for I called early in the week to understand how they handle prerelease events. Per their site, and Per the conversation with their employee, there wer no pre-event sign-ups, and a half an hour before the event they would start registering people. I asked if there was pre-queueing, and was told that happens, so I asked if showing up fifteen minutes early would give a good chance for making the limited seating. What can I say, I was excited. I invited my friends and we were all going to be there early. In total, five of us. Well, as I was pulling up 15 minutes before the event, I found out they had done a sign up, and before they were even supposed to be starting to register folks, they had run out of seats. And the answer to why they did exactly what they had told us they were not going to do? Management decided the night before to change things. I regret having suggested to my friends that we go there for the event. I regret that those friends purchased a draft box at above MSRP from this store in an attempt to save the evening. I regret that they decided to buy beverages there, as our evening had been ruined by Enchanted Grounds' management team. Will I be back? Maybe. Will I trust them on their event descriptions? I love this place, I've been going for years, and it it is just a chill and fun environment to hang out in.

Three people went up to the untended coffee counter on a Sunday afternoon. Maybe the third person was wearing bright enough clothing because it was then that the barista returned to the counter from just ... hanging out in the back of the shop. There's no bell at the counter to call anybody and no indication that the cafe was even open other than the hours stated clearly on their website. Wildly unprofessional and neglectful. read more

I was visiting here from Seattle and the customer service I received was incredible. My Aunt has mobility challenges and everyone was so kind with helping me find a good space for her walker/wheelchair. The food and coffee tasted delicious - highly recommend the pastries. I don't give five-star reviews lightly, but Enchanted Grounds (Highlands Ranch) absolutely earned it. My 12-year-old son has recently gotten into Dungeons & Dragons, and for his birthday we reserved a table here knowing that Enchanted Grounds welcomes tabletop RPGs. I'll admit, I was a little hesitant about leaving my son and four of his friends somewhere new on their own for nearly four hours. Any concerns disappeared almost immediately. One staff member in particular, Paul, went above and beyond. The boys would not stop saying, "Paul is the GOAT." He checked in on them throughout their entire time there, helped them out whenever they needed it, and genuinely made them feel welcome. More importantly, he made me feel completely at ease as a parent. It's rare to find a business that not only creates a fun, inclusive space for kids but also earns the trust of parents so effortlessly. Enchanted Grounds Highlands Ranch has my respect and admiration. Thank you for giving my son one of the best birthday experiences he's ever had. We'll definitely be back. read more

What a unique spot. I was in this part of Denver and decided to stop in before an appointment. I'm glad I did. The coffee was good though it was the rest of the shop that really drew me in. Not only were the game selections solid (I picked up a couple to gift my niece and nephew) and the miniature selection also good for a smaller shop but I was really drawn in by the energy of the place. At two tables groups of ladies of retirement age were playing games together. At another table what looked to be parents and their kids were playing something. A pair of college age women were going over materials on laptops. At the back of the store two high school aged boys were playing a competitive card game which may have been Magic the gathering (I didn't want to intrude) I think if I lived near a location this would be a bi-weekly stop of a coffee, a bakery item, and chill time with folks who appreciate game culture. The barista was super patient with me when I approached the counter and needed a minute to decide what I wanted to order. The drip coffee at Enchanted Grounds has been a top contributor in helping my husband finish up a dissertation for his doctorate, lol. I also have several autoimmune diseases, so finding a slew of sugar-free syrup options while out and about is always fun! The servers have become friends over the years, and I love the family-friendly vibe of this place. Oftentimes we'll see parents with their children seated at a table playing games together, which is an increasingly rare occurrence in our society today and such a refreshing change. They have a wide variety of food and snacks to keep game players fueled and satiated for hours on end. It's a fun shopping experience as well--given the wide variety of games, comics, and more. The bathrooms are always clean and well stocked with both toilet paper and paper towels, while seating includes lots of comfy booths beneath cozy lighting. This place is perfect for studying or socializing, you can't go wrong with either option. Not to mention the flavor of EG's coffee is next level RICH. From the moment I walked in, I loved the ambiance--warm, welcoming, and just the kind of place you want to hang out for a while. I ordered their house special chai latte, and it was amazing! Super flavorful, perfectly spiced, and honestly a great value for what you get. It's hard to find a chai that hits all the right notes, but they nailed it. This was a fun busy little gaming cafe with good coffee and non- coffee options and fun vibes. They have a list of games in their library you can borrow so you need to have an idea of what you're looking at, they were busy so it's possible there would be someone to help if it was slower (we went on a Saturday). No. Neither of these items are exotics, only to be found in old, established coffee houses. How are these missing? Decided to sit first, and one of the employees, maybe the owner, literally sat down at my table, was a complete ass and disrespectful, and nearly kicked me out. Fun place to grab a tasty coffee, browse board games, hangout or do some combination of all 3. The menu has lots of coffee options (and non coffee options) and the baristas are always friendly. The board game selection is large and also includes puzzles, miniatures, cards, dice, strategy books and more. There is lots of seating including large tables to play games at. The parking lot is on the smaller side for a plaza with a lot of businesses but we've always been able to find a spot. They also host gaming events. read more

This place is amazing! What a great community spot to get together, play and drink delicious coffee. I wish my town had this. During my stay in Littleton I came here 3 times and got 2 iced matchas and 1 hot matcha. I feel like using matcha to judge a place is pretty accurate, seeing that many places mess it up easily with grainy and grassy matcha. Swung by on the recommendation of a friend and I wasn't disappointed. Their coffee is on point. I didn't try on a game night so I can't speak much to the experience outside of coffee. That said, the inside is well-suited to use as a quiet coffee shop on non-game days. The game side of the shop looked great though. read more

Like graphic novels, other books and tons of games to purchase. And lots of big tables available to play those games or read those books you might purchase. Apparently you need proof for your reviews or the business owner can just say otherwise. Photos are from the businesses website. They price-gouge on commander pre-cons and other sealed products. The going pre-release rate for these lotr pre-cons are $45-55 a piece ($185-$200 for the bundle) but here they are for $70 a piece ($279 for the bundle). The one from my earlier review was for the DMU pre-cons which they were selling for $100 even though they should have been ~$50. They also have other pre-release products that are price-gouged, noticeably the commander masters set boxes which should go for around $475 but are priced at $599. read more
