First time her as we were looking for a small bite while doing errands. The fish was fresh and the veggies were crisp. We ordered the Wasabi Aioli with salmon and tuna. Soooo Yummy! We stopped in this evening for dinner and were so happy with our selection. First and foremost the customer service was excellent. The employee who helped us was patient as we tried to identify what would be best to get our little one. We got 3 bowls total, one with regular tuna for our kiddo, spicy for me and my spouse got spicy tuna, shrimp and scallops. All of the options were incredibly fresh, even 1 hour before close and could tell from their appearance. Our bowls also came with miso soup, which was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant closed at 8:20 and we stopped in around 7:30-7:45 so I don't know how busy it would be, however it had a very modern feel, was well lit and clean. I could see myself meeting someone for lunch. Overall I would give my bowl a 10/10. In it I put, spicy tuna, white rice, onion, carrots, avocado, tempura, and seaweed along with ponzu and sriracha kewpie. The flavors blended together sooooo well and it was extremely flavorful. The way he prepared my bowl ensured that the toppings reached the rice and the meat which made it so easy to mix and enjoy in every bite. If you have seen any of my other reviews, you know we have been looking for a good spicy tuna with flavor and Code Poke definitely had it. read more

Code: Poke is an amazing place to try your spicy tuna salmon in the same bowl with a side of invisible noodles. I love the air quality and sometimes (keyword sometimes) free miso soup. The place nearby me recently shut down and was super upset I wasn't able to get that daily touch I craved once in a while. So I went to the one by Jersey mikes and the close hospital of Lutherans and it was amazing! Thank you to them so much I appreciate them honestly and vividly. read more

Talk about having tons of options. I was skeptical and didn't know what to expect from a poke place in the mainland. I'm not a huge fan of the choose your own adventure type of poke places. I miss the premade poke bowls from Foodland and the usual marinades. Instead this is a pick your toppings, fish, base, dressings, etc. I tried the salmon and ahi (seemed very fresh), several toppings including furikake, soybeans, seaweed salad, and the squid salad. White rice was cooked perfectly and warm. Overall this bowl was so hefty and filled, which helps justify the $17 price. I barely could finish the rice and the wasabi aoli I tried was not my favorite. It was more mayonnaise than wasabi punch in your face. I didn't get any of that heat. I think it was great and next time I go I will try to simplify my order. The HR has solid poke?! Who knew?! I stopped here on the way back from a hike and was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. It's a Chipotle style fast casual place and they spell it out for you to make your selection pretty easy and with a good flow. The two scoop poke bowl was plenty to fill me up and it was chock full of goodies like seaweed, crab salad and ginger. Follow the directions on your app, I have never been here but it seemed like a convoluted way to get to Code Poke but it's tucked away in a little strip mall away from the busyness of the shopping center. Terrible experience. Staff seemed upset and stressed out that customers actually came in at 7:15pm and ordered food. Signs says they close at 8:20pm The main gentleman actually acted as if it was a rather big inconvenience that 3 customers walked in. Asked for Ramen and he basically shrugged his shoulders and said that he takes 15 minutes to cook. The body language said I don't really want to make this for you. Food was fresh and good. What I didn't like. We were there at 6pm. There are 4 tables, 2 of which were occupied by patrons, 2 occupied by employees. We had to sit in the back at a counter that our trays barely fit on. For a $36 dinner for two I expect better. read more

For a fast food place this is a better option than let's say McDonald's. The bowl I got with veggies, rice and shrimp was ok. The shrimp was delicious. The added mango made it too sweet of a dish for me. The rice was a little mushy. The sauce I chose was the ginger teriyaki, which maybe if I got a different sauce I may have enjoyed it more? I also ordered the passionfruit bubble tea. I felt like I was sipping straight up overly sugary syrup. I was not a fan of this at all. So I didn't finish the bubble tea. The service was nice. The guy asked me if I had been there before. I said no. He had given me some extra shrimp with my order which I thought a pleasant gesture. The ambiance inside is a fast food sit for a moment vibe, which is to be expected. Not much in the way of seating. read more

There is no better Poke place in a landlocked state than this place. I've been going there with my family and friends since they opened. $12 for a poke bowl that actually has more than 5 toppings is fantastic. I will go out of my way for a poke bowl from here. I've always had fresh fish, crispy new veggies, and warm rice that's cooked perfectly. Thank you for always giving us a great time! read more

I've been here twice and I'm obsessed. The service is quick and efficient, but not rushed. The man that took care of us both times we were there was so kind. I can tell they care because the food is phenomenal. It's high quality and each time I've walked in, the food line is completely covered and they are constantly clean. Delicious customizable poke bowls, or other cooked options for those who do not like poke. I ordered through toasttab although I was hesitant at first because I know some places mark up their online order prices compared to their in house prices. However it was the same price. Using toasttab made it easy because we had a group order with multiple custom poke bowls, so it was much faster to select all of the food choices rather than relaying it over the phone or in person. Poke was fresh and we each enjoyed our food. They also a few miso soups which was a tasty addition to our meal. We l ordered peach, watermelon, and boba smoothies. They are made from powders but all had good flavor (not overly sweet or artificial) and the boba had a nice texture and taste. (The smoothies do separate if you don't drink them quick enough.) Unfortunately our order wasn't ready on time and we were in a bit of a time crunch. The estimated ready time was 15min but it ended up being 20-25min. The food and drinks were tasty so I would go back, I would just try to put my order in earlier so that hopefully it would be ready to go by the time I arrive. read more

This is a difficult review for me to write as I have no suggestions on how to improve the service. I really like the food here. I love the options and the many choices for meals. There are lots of plant-based options and they are all fresh and cooked just right. The seating area is pretty small but in the summer they offer a very nice patio. read more

I absolutely love this place. I'm not sure if he's the owner but the same guy is usually there, and he's really nice. Clearly works harder than most. Love having a go to pike place that's serving high quality poke at a reasonable price 2 minutes from my house. Thank you! One of these days I'll try the other dishes too, they all look good. Tasty food and a fun concept. It's a Chipotle concept but for Poke bowls. I have had plenty of poke bowls before (mainly in Hawaii), but this concept being applied to poke was new to me. My only suggestion the staff, is that when you kindly ask "is this your first time", and people say yes...maybe have some suggestions, or like some listed out suggestions for bowls (like MOD does for it's pizzas) read more

Definitely not the best poke place. Found nothing special here. I got a poke bowl which was served in a standard disposable plastic bowl even though we were eating there. I ordered the 2 scoop salmon bowl. I think they had a 3 scoop option for $3 more. The set up is like a Qdoba or Subway where you choose your items that go in your bowl as you scoot down the way to the cash register. The energy/vibe was off and just wasn't much of a feel good place. I don't even remember if they had any decorations or art posted. So am thinking likely not. They were not very flexible. If you only want one scoop, you can't do that. So I am not sure how they handle folks who don't eat fish. If you wanted chicken you would get a curry bowl? So their customer service and flexibility to give you what you were looking for or wanting just wasn't an option. So if you are looking for a quick, pick it up and go place, and what you want matches what they have, maybe it will work for you. But just so you know, it really is definitely not your top tier poke place. read more

I had been wanting to try this place for a while, and I'm thrilled I finally did. I ordered online for takeout and loved all of the topping options. You're able to choose from two protein scoops or three. Adding in all different types of protein if you'd like. I really got to customize my bowl. I was able to choose a variety of time frames the earliest being 15 minutes. Amazing! I paid with Apple Pay and was able to leave a tip. Just because you do takeout does not mean you should skip the tip! When I picked up my order they immediately greeted me and handed me my bag. When I got home I saw they added in a complimentary miso soup. Really truly made me smile. The bowl itself was full and heavy. Definitely filing and very delicious. For $60 I kind of expected a little more especially since 2 out of 4 rolls were just rice and 1 type of fish. Even adding cucumber or avocado in those 2 rolls would've made it a little better. The first piece I got had a thread of lint on it :( the rice also seemed too mushy and some pieces of fish didn't seem fresh. The tuna nirigi I actually ended up spitting out cause it didn't taste fresh at all. I probably wouldn't go to dine in at this place from this experience honestly but it was nice to try it out once.

And to be frank, I certainly didn't have the 4.7 star experience that many others raved about. Service: Not bad but "basic" is certainly enough to accurately describe it. The young lady upfront was nice but still I was met with something quite "bland" with all cookie-cutter normality. Food: I did the build your own bowl. I got salmon, baked eel and steak to enhance my meal (protein rich). For the base, I did sushi rice with some greens. They also have brown rice and what's called "pokeco rice". The young lady said it's rice with coconut with green tea. Very unique indeed and yet I didn't have the guts to try it out. LOL! Maybe next time. A bowl of miso soup came with the bowl and this was quite the disappointment. It was lukewarm with very bland taste. I know this wasn't the main part of the whole meal or experience and yet this made me think that this restaurant may not be living up to the current high rating. I know this sounds like a harsh appraisal but I simply couldn't dismiss the fact. The restaurant inside was quite cute and clean. Fairly small but ample space to accommodate a good number of guests. This place is quite close to my day job office. For that reason, I might consider going back if I ever crave for some decent poke. I If or when I do so, I would love to like this place.
