I will say they have Friendly staff. Made a last minute booking and they accommodated. But.....I had what felt like the start of an ingrown nail and asked if she could help get it, my mistake, she cut my skin so bad it was bleeding. She had to apply what looked like superglue to get it to stop bleeding before being able to paint. I'm worried it's infected because every time I put pressure on that toe it throbs :( I hate leaving bad reviews but it wasn't a great experience unfortunately. read more

Really sad. I've come here before and it's been a great experience. Got a different person this time. Usually the husband does my nails and it's great. This time I came at closing, I guess that's my fault. The lady drilled my cuticles so hard over and over, was on FaceTime twice with her kid while doing my nails. I kept wincing and pulling away, my cuticles started bleeding and she barely said a word the entire time except to tell me after butchering my nails, "which one was going to fall off first from infection" because I'm a nail biter. Came home and my husband was shocked and upset for me and told me I should leave a review because I'm way too nice to complain. This cost $70 and I paid it like a dumbass. I was a walk in, looking for a pedicure, because salon was recommended. I got a bloody one. They used the credo blade On my feet and took a big chunk of skin off of one . That she had to put not only one Band-Aid on, but had to change it because it was still cleaning and put a second Band-Aid on. It was stinging like hell. She did apologize but I have never been cut like this in my years of getting pedicures. I will not be coming back. Horrible job. The clear gel or acrylic is crusted all over my nails, and, for some reason its super spotty. Many spots throughout. My nails looked better bare! Also, look at uneven the filing is, some nails wider than others. How can you screw up nails when no color is applied and only clear Gel on acrylic? I have this done all time, and they manage to fail here. Also, the woman Vin or Van need not lecture me on masks and covid, rude!!! I was wearing my mask and I asked why she wasn't wearing gloves for my pedicure and said she didn't need to that the mask was enough even though it kept falling down. The logic is missing! If you're wondering what getting a mani-pedi during a pandemic I'll shed some light. They don't want to overcrowd the salon, so only a few appointments are allowed at a time. They requested we wear a mask the entire time, and they had some clean ones available had we not brought our own. Went here for a mani pedi before a wedding and was less than impressed with the manners of the employee who helped us. She spoke very good English, but was rude and made it clear that she didn't care about doing a good job on our manis. Even after I pointed out spots that needed cleaning up she didn't do it and went to start someone else's nails. AND less than a week later it's all chipping off and looks even worse. The only thing going for this place is the technicians are friendly. The rest is awful. Chairs are worn and broken, and the technicians do a horrible job. They clean your nails, soak your feet, scrap the icky dead skin away, and lotion you up while you relax in one of those massage chairs. The people were nice and they accepted my friend and me as walk-ins yesterday, however the woman who did my gel manicure obviously rushed. She used too much polish and I ended up with bulbous nails that are already peeling a day later and they aren't even dry underneath! Not only that, she didn't paint close enough to my cuticles so my nails look grown out. I'm embarrassed by the state of my nails now. Worst experiences for a pedicure I have ever had. From the moment you walk in you are met by the owner who is scrolling on her phone and acts like you are the biggest interruption of her day. I should have walked out right then and there....the nail tech (not sure her name but the only non Asian they have working there) was super rough, the gel polish didn't adhere like it was suppose to but there is NO way I'm going back to have it repaired. I was in desperate need of a gel pedicure, so I figured I'd stop by here since there were only two customers in at the time. I'm guessing she's the owner, but she seemed to be extremely irritated that I had walked in even though they were just sitting in the massage chairs watching tv. She told me to walk behind the chairs where they do the nails and told me to pick out a color. Their colors are very limited and all seemed dried out. It didn't feel right to stay so I ended up leaving. I had a feeling I wouldn't be happy with the finished product and didn't want to settle for a color I really didn't want. Decided to take my $40 down the road to Nails Plus where I know I won't be disappointed, I'd definitely rather wait 15 minutes there than pay for a poor quality pedicure. read more

Went with my cousin to get our nails done here. Not only did they up charge a ridiculous amount for three diamonds but they rushed through like they didn't want to be paid. Overall very disappointed. They're only getting two stars because my own nails are good looking. HOWEVER when working on anyone, you NEVER try to rip off their old gel polish, that's a great way to rip a nail off. read more

I recently got a gel manicure there and they did a really sub-par job. I didn't expect a whole lot for the $15 price tag, but I did expect at least a decent paint job. Cuticles were VERY sloppy and uneven. The top/base coat was applied too close to the cuticle and side of the nail which has caused some ridges along the side where it had adhered to my skin, and peeling within a few hours. The job just seemed rushed. Wont be back, and will probably buy supplies to do them myself because I know I can do a better job than the one I received. read more

I live in San Diego county and was meeting up with some friends from Washington State for a visit in Boise. I had promised the girls (17, 21 and 7) that I would take them for manicures when we got there. I searched for a nail salon with good ratings and am not sure how we ended up here. The only good thing was that they were very near our hotel in Meridian. The 21 year old got a standard manicure: she works with horses in a barn so needed just a clean up and light polish. She selected a light pink color. Below her color you could still see where it looked "dirty" under some nail splits. We took the polish off the next day, used a brush and polished them up natural. (waste of $14). The 17 year old plays basketball so got got a gel manicure that would last through practice. The polish started peeling off the next day. We went to have 3 nails redone. They wanted to do 2, we said "no, 3" The 3 were redone and all peeled off in less than a week. (waste of $28) And the tech that did the gel manicure had a sinus infection or cold or something. She kept sniffing a very stuffy nose. Disturbing. The 7 year old got a hot pink manicure. While they had her under the drying lights I noticed the polished was all clumpy and in spots you could see her nails through it. I asked them to re do it with a newer bottle of polish. They didn't. They put another coat on top of the same polish which make it all thick and gooey. And charged the full $14 for a manicure on a 7 year old instead of a "junior manicure" like most shops. That's a total of 56 of my dollars wasted. I was super frustrated! I always leave a generous tip. At least $5 each, this is the first time I have ever left nothing. I have been taking the older girls for mani/pedis for 10 years, they commented on how pissed I must have been to do that. What the heck?!? Can it be that difficult to do standard manicures? read more

Very rude and rushed through my mani/pedi. I have had many mani/pedis, but never has someone taken a Dremel tool to my cuticles! The lady made me bleed and 2 days later my skin was peeling at the nail beds. To top it off, the polish started to chip away the day after getting it done. Not impressed. Went in this evening for a pedicure for myself and my 7 year old daughter. They seemed incredibly annoyed we were there. We arrived at 5:30 and were out by 6, when the door clearly states they close at 7. My pedicure was rushed, she didn't even remove any of the dry/dead skin around my toes. Not a good place. I went there to use their tanning bed service since it's the closest to my work. They put me in Room 1 which worked pretty good. I paid after the session and decided to go with their unlimited package for $39. When I went in the 2nd time, they put me in Room 2 (even though Room 1 was empty). They control the timer in that room so the bed turned on while I was still applying my tanning lotion and the bed has old bulbs so I did not get any color. Even though they offer the unlimited tanning, they don't like when you use it so they discourage you from coming in by sticking you in Room 2. VERY unfriendly staff also. read more

Totally recommend this salon!!! I've been going to them for over 4 years and love it! Not sure what happened with the other people who said bad thiings, but EVERY single time I go there, it seems that people are very satisfied. I've done everything from tanning, to a full set of acrylic nails, and gel nails. All my girls have their pedicures done here and agree with me ..... there's no place like them in Boise! VERY CLEAN.
