However, after my most recent experience, I don't think I'll return. My manicure felt very rushed, even though I had an appointment rather than walking in. I initially selected four gel colors from the wall I was shown, but all of them were out of stock. I ended up having to choose new colors while my feet were already being soaked and worked on, which felt disorganized. Within just a few days, my gel manicure chipped, so I called to have it fixed. At first, they only offered appointment times during standard 8-5 work hours, either the same day or the next, which wasn't feasible for me. After some back-and-forth, the owner agreed to open 15 minutes early to accommodate me before my flight that weekend. While I appreciated the effort, the repair itself felt rushed--three nails were fixed in about five minutes. If I could give 0 stars I would. I came in with hard gel on looking for a hard gel fill. My nail tech wouldn't even give me the time of day to look at an inspo picture or find out what I wanted, she wouldn't even look at me. I had to grab someone else to ask her to tell my nail tech what I wanted. Very simple. Wanted the exact same shape I came in with, JUST wanted a fill. She ended up completely ruining my naturally grown out nails, change the shape completely. These nails are the worst nails I've ever had and this was the worst salon experience I've ever received. My cuticles are bleeding and look worse than when I went in, my nails are way too thick AND lump, they look like teeth glued on top of a nail, there's dirt cured into the top of my nails, my polish is streaky, I can't even fathom how terrible these are, I don't know how this business is still running. I'll post what I came in with, what I asked for and what they gave me. Don't come here. Extremely unsanitary as well. They reuse nail files and don't wipe off or clean the metal tools or countertops between clients. Genuinely confused on why the health department hasn't shut this place down yet either. read more

I feel pretty upset at the way I was treated here. I got a manicure with hard gel and pedicure, and the lady doing my services was pretty rough. I am happy with the shape of my nails, but the polish jobs were pretty sloppy on both hands and feet with missing patches and bare sides. Unfortunately not the best experience. It took 30 mins just to be seen. On top of it I had informed my nail tech that I wanted dip with extensions. I've never done dip so I didn't know the process. Once I realized she was done I was so disappointed that she didn't give me what I had asked for. Honestly I never do my nails so this was a surprise from my husband so the fact that she didn't hear me or understand me (the other employer mentioned she doesn't speak well English) and did just my nails was such a bummer. I quit getting my pedicures here over a year ago. They got too expensive and the atmosphere is chaotic. I'm hoping I don't regret this, but I went in to purchase gift certificates for my 3 nieces for Christmas, because it was a matter of convenience for me. I told the girl at the front desk what I wanted. Just as she was pulling them out of the drawer she answered the phone. Instead of putting them on hold, she argued with whoever was on the phone about them canceling an appointment for a good five minutes or so. Yes, I should have just left. I paid with a credit card and was charged a fee. Did I mention, she wasn't friendly in the least. Plus the gift certificate expires in 6 months. I recently purchased a gift certificate for my granddaughter at another salon. No fee when I used my card and no expiration date! Never again! I warned my nieces by the way. read more

This nail salon is pushy and lacks flexibility. While they often do good nails, they are not customer focused. Examples of this are constantly texting customers on their appointment days and request to move the time. When you do call to cancel or adjust they make you feel badly. You cannot make an ad hoc appointment until the end of the day (nail repair, paint fix). They are more concerned with their technicians needs than the customer needs. Too many other same or better salons in the area to deal with feeling badly about a nail appointment. read more

I went in today and got my normal service, and when I was paying I pulled out my punch card. I am going to a wedding tomorrow and realized very last minute (yesterday) that I would have to wear open toed shoes due to a surgery I've had recently (long story). I called La Vie today seeing if they could fit me in last minute and they put me on a waiting list. In about 30 minutes they called and said they could get me in. Then I received one of the best pedicures I've ever had! I believe my tech was named Jackie and he really took great care of my toes. Was very gentle and very good. I am constantly trying to prevent a possible infection due to the drilling into my unsterilized skin during the nail appt. The vibe was very unwelcoming, and uncomforting.
