Wells drink

We headed to Encore Grill tonight for dinner. We made it in time for happy hour, which ends at 6pm. Wells drink were $4.25. We started with potato skins and 8-piece BBQ Wings. Hubby had the Tacos. Dad and I shared the Hong Kong Sea Bass. Loved the sauce! Great service from Allen. Highly recommend this place. They will be expanding and will soon have live music and comedians.

Nice neighborhood Bar & Grill. Cool rock and roll 'n roll vibe with the guitars on the wall. The Staff was nice, although the Bartender was the server as well which sometimes kept him preoccupied. The food was pretty good. We ordered the Cobb and Caesar salads which were fully loaded and I had the Dublin Club. All were pretty good, except the Texas toast on my Club was a tad over done and compressed. I typically Iike that to be a little thicker and not as grilled. Either way, it was good but the star for me was the French fries. They used some seasoning that had a hint of BBQ chips to it. Pretty good! Definitely gonna pop in, especially on a weekend night and see what they have going on. The bar is well stocked and they also have some seating outside on their patio which looks like it's more for the bar patrons. Over-all nice spot and they were friendly from the get go.

This place was really a surprise to me, it's located just off the 1604 loop in a little new plaza. Food: 5***** all the way! Idk what these guys do to this orange chicken, I think they put crack in it. So freaking good, trust me, I'm a foodie and I love it! You will too! Also had the club sandwich, yummy. And the cheeseburger, yeah perfectly cooked and the fires are also seasoned well. Service: 5***** the staff here is so attentive and nice! They will make sure your drinks are perfect, your food is good and they genuinely care about your experience. Ambiance: I won't rate this with stars because this is subjective. Personally, I like it here. Cool decorations and tv's throughout, so you can literally sit anywhere in here and see a tv. They also have TouchTunes. Overall, if I were you, I would check this place out for delicious food and drinks. I promise, you won't be disappointed

Chips & Queso

We were a party of seven that frequented the Encore Bar and Grill on 11/15/25, following a dinner at Bourbon Street Seafodd Kitchen, across the street. We were greeted immediately by our server, Jacqueline who took our orders quickly and engagingly. They offer a range of specialty cocktails as well as 6 various types of Red Bull cocktails. We told her we had never been to the place before. Shortly thereafter the owner and chef came to the table to introduce himself to us. He thanked us for our patronage. He proceeded to tell us that he cooks all the food fresh from scratch. On the menu is appetizers, salads, sandwiches, " build your own burger ", steaks & seafood, house specialties and six offerings of hot dogs! Before we knew it, Jacqueline was delivering to the table, a plate of queso and chips courtesy of the chef! We were also greeted by the bar manager, Jeremiah, who came to the table to introduce himself and asked how everything was. He also told us that immediately next-door they're pushing out the wall and expanding and creating a stage and private event space. He provided his cell phone number to us and told us to contact him if we would like to book the private event space in the future. The chips and queso were delicious. You could tell that they were all homemade. We all agreed as a group that we would be returning for their happy hour and to dine. It's a cute little neighborhood bar reminiscent of Cheers with that "Hey Norm!" feeling. Give them a go if you ever have the opportunity.

We had the best time at Encore! Jeremiah showed us around the new room they created for party's and events, served us the best drinks and brought all the best vibes! We will be back again for sure!!

Only a few tables taken..,horrible service

Giving to 2 stars because the only good here is the food. Service is non existent, and it was not busy at all. Our server kept walking by our table and not checking in on us. Had to go to the bar and have our server give me the waters I asked for. 3rd time here and I'm not coming back at all. I blame management for not training their staff. The first time we came here it was the same...however they had recently opened so I knew they were working out all kinks and such. Second time we came, the service was a lot better. So we decided to come back and it was back to being ignored. Again, they were not busy and when we did try to get our server's attention she wouldn't look our direction. They do have tvs so you can watch sports and play cool music.

The location is now open. The staff were super nice and very attentive. It has a cool 80's rock n roll vibe like the bars that hosted live local music. Guitars and images on the wall. A digital jukebox with 70s and 80s music. There are TVs on the walls .. lots of sports showing. The menu had a little of everything. I went for the truffle fries appetizer, of course! Good flavor and more than enough for the table. I followed with a Dublin Club sandwich that was stacked higher than I could wrap my hands around. All in all, it was a good experience. Seems like a good Happy Hour spot.

Another round of amazing food! We missed seeing Gary and Lydia (sp?), but the food didn't disappoint. We tried the nachos, club sandwich and fish & chips! All were fabulous and per usual our eyes were bigger than our bellies. I at least captured some pictures this time but the picture of the nachos doesn't do it justice as it was a whole tray! Chef David did it again with his tasty treasures!!!

Salmon is amazing!

! Chef Lydia did her big one !! Jeremiah also provided the best service ! Will definitely be returning

I was greeted pretty soon after I took a seat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and asked if I wanted a food menu. I declined because I already had dinner plans that involved eating the left over ribs that I made for a party the night before. I grossly overestimated how much people would eat. I plan on trying their food another day I ordered a Blue Moon which the bartender did put a orange slice on as it is traditionally served. As I was getting close to finishing my beer, the bartender asked if I wanted another one so I would say the bartender was attentive. I ordered one more and decided to close out. The bill was pretty reasonable for two beers and only came to about 10 dollars maybe closer to 11. I would say this bar has a Dive Bar feel to it. It is very dark inside and I was kind of surprises how bright it was when I walked out. They do have outdoor seating that I might try another time. I recommend this place if you want a cheap drink.

I ordered the fried catfish while she went with the steak sliders and a margarita. The catfish plate was impressive -- plenty of lightly battered catfish piled on top of a huge serving of waffle fries. The fish was cooked just right, not overly fried or greasy, and it definitely filled me up. I would absolutely order it again. My wife wasn't as impressed with the steak sliders, and we both agreed her waffle fries were a little too salty. On the positive side, she really enjoyed her margarita, which helped make up for the meal a bit. One thing we both really appreciated was that they offer a 15% discount for Military and Veterans, which is always a nice gesture to see. Overall, it was still a good first experience. I'll definitely be back for the catfish, and my wife said she'd try something different next time. Nice atmosphere, good service, and worth checking out if you haven't been before.

The only reason the chunks were partially held together was because of the cheese on it. Obviously not juicy at all, but the toppings and bun were good. My favorite thing on the menu is the ahi salad, and I like a lot of the appetizers as well as the Sunday drink specials,, but this burger (pic of leftover burger crumbs) was impossible to eat. A huge disappointment, but I didn't want to send it back and not eat with my son or to piss the cook off.

LOL. It was delicious but not enough protein for me so I ordered the 4 piece chicken tenders. OMG, the pieces of chicken were huge compared to with elsewhere. Everything was nice and hot and perfectly cooked. The chicken was nice and juicy. Yum! Service was fantastic. Lucy Cooper's Ice House is definitely a laid back sort of place. I will say the GPS got a little confused in the route for some reason and I nearly missed an exit and even the entrance (there was some construction going on) There is plenty of parking, but the parking lot was pretty full. You walk up and either walk through the courtyard style Biergarten with tables or you can go inside. It was an unseasonably nice day, so, we opted to sit outside There is a QR code to view the menus. There are entrees and plenty of apps/sharables. There is also a very extensive beer menu. Make no mistake, this is their bread and butter. They boast an imprecise "99 beers on tap." There's local brews, light and dark beers, hoppy, Belgium style, German style, wheat, etc etc etc. if that's not your speed there are cocktails and non-alcoholic options. Our server was fantastic. She was very kind and patient with us. We were constantly checked in on, but not in a hovering way or a pressure to leave. Our food and drinks always came out in a timely manner. I had the Lox eggs Benedict and in retrospect should have sent it back as it was stone cold! My husband and our friend got the biscuits and gravy and also reported that they were cold - it was also served in a bowl which was a bad idea as the biscuits completely soaked up the gravy and resembled oatmeal by the time it hit the table! The outdoor patio seating was nice, and they even had a sand pit with toys for the kids, which was a great touch. The service was attentive and quick. I was a little confused about the drink setup since I didn't realize some drinks were self serve, but our waitress ended up bringing them out for us anyway. For an appetizer, we tried the Macaroni Brisket Balls, and they were phenomenal. I'm usually pretty picky when it comes to dishes like this, but these left a great impression. They were packed with flavor, super cheesy, and served hot. Definitely something I'd order again. For my entrée, I had the fried shrimp, which was delicious as well. Whatever batter they use has a great texture and a perfectly crunchy finish. To end the evening, we tried the bourbon bread pudding and the apple pie. Buyer's Beware. My husband and I frequent this establishment often, especially during crawfish…read moreseason. We had a bad experience in the past but the restaurant had turned itself around with new management. Since then, we started to come all the time again, especially during Crawfish season. I frequently buy 1-2 pounds of crawfish and my husband 1 pound of shrimp so we are VERY familiar with the portions expected. Two visits ago, I ordered 2 pounds of crawfish but the portion appeared closer to 1.5 pounds but my server said that ai was the only table that ordered 2 pounds so it was correct. I let that slide. I decided that in the future, I would order 1 pound and order another pound later to ensure that I can see the exact portions. Yesterday, I stopped by after a long run. I ordered 1 pound of crawfish and my husband ordered 1 pound of shrimp ($21.99 for 1 pound and $13.99 for 1/2 pound). When our order came, the portions were half of what was expected. I approached the front manager. He took to the back and weighed it, we receive 1/2 pound each but was charged 1 full pound. To fix it, they remade the order and to our surprise, added the wrong weight portion at no extra charge. Because of that, I did not post of what felt like the kitchen cheating the customer. Today, we returned. I had a free Chicken Tender coupon so after running 12 miles felt it was a good time to use the coupon, enjoy a margarita and my favorite, crawfish. Thinking yesterday was a fluke, we expected the correct portion size. Well, stupid me. Again, the crawfish came out with the portion size smaller than expected. I just asked if my waitress could weigh it. Nothing more, nothing less. The kitchen manager came out and spoke down to me that I do this all the time. And he was NOT going to weigh it. First of all, yesterday was my first time demanding our crawfish and shrimp to be weighed and we were indeed cheated. The way I was spoken to was definitely not appreciated. Being someone who order a a pound of crawfish from different establishments, I know what a pound should look like. Did they weigh the potato and corn as part of the crawfish (or shrimp)? If so this is a new practice and false advertisement. Should we be charged $10,99 a pound with the crawfish or $21.99 pound with the shrimp. We think NOT! The only reason why we come to Willie's is because of the great margarita deals. So, if you are okay with the kitchen at this establishment cheating you on your meal, feel free to come here. We will no longer be coming to this Willie's. It is NOT the only Willie's in town. F we get the same treatment at other Willie's then it is a Corporate issue and we will eat elsewhere. Stay tune for my update. Yes, I really would love to hear from a higher level Manager. And, please teach them some etiquette. Don't be RUDE to customers.
