We visited this establishment several times and likely would have become regulars if not for a few concerns. First, the glassware is cleaned using a 3-dunk system where the final rinse is sanitizer rather than clean water (see images). I react to sanitizer residue on glasses, and, as an MD, I assure you that any exposure is detrimental to your GI microbiome. We politely asked whether the glasses could simply be rinsed and dried before serving but were told this would only be possible during slower periods. As a workaround, we began bringing our own glasses. Second, the bar staff assured us their pours were standard 16 oz pints. To avoid confusion, we marked our glasses at the 16 oz line. On a later visit, the owner's daughter (whose approach to customer service was unnecessarily confrontational) stormed over and informed us in a rude tone that their glasses were actually 14 oz "shakers," not pints. She then poured the beers well below 14 oz. After measuring the remaining volume at home, the pour was close to 10 oz. We own 14 oz beer glasses, and to receive true 14 oz, the glass would need to be filled to the rim, which obviously is not how beers are served. In practice, customers are receiving roughly 10 oz pours for $7 - excessive and misleading, especially when places like Yard House serve actual pints for $5.49 in properly dishwasher-cleaned glassware. Regarding the food, everything is supplied by Sysco, and nothing is made in-house. It is served on plastic or aluminum trays. Overall, the combination of lack of properly clean glassware -- which is the bare minimum an establishment charging premium prices should provide -- deceptive pour sizes, and the dismissive handling of legitimate customer concerns left us very disappointed. THE SERVICE!!!!! Absolutely terrible service. We came in with a reservation given it was a friday still had to wait then when we were finally seated there were not enough chairs and the server said she was going to bring one and never did so we had to get one only for her to see us do this and brought an extra chair that was no longer needed. We waited 45 minutes with no drinks and never got to order our meals. Our server would pass by our table giving drinks to tables that were sat after us and it was very frustrating for all seven of us whom were hungry. I just want to add that I have been a server and understand that things get busy but this was just absolutely unacceptable. Will not be returning, I downloaded this app just to write this review because that is how upset our entire table was. read more

Great ambiance,good selection of draft beer and decent selection of sprits. Our waitress Keira I think that how you spell it was awesome and very attentive and had a smile the whole time. We weren't really hungry we only went there to kill some time and some drinks due to Jurassic Park movie time at 7;15 but we did ordered the 10 piece hot wings garlic Parmesan and regular Buffalo and man they were delicious. The IPA 90 minute was very good and the old fashioned was good the only thing I would done differently or recommend is they need to use clear ice cube to make the presentation lot better. We stopped in bc we were excited that we could possibly have a nice beer/bar close to home. We never went back to the last bar/restaurant in the same spot. Unfortunately it's just a rebranding of the same spot. No changes to the menu (or minimal if at all). They don't have a fryer so everything is baked including their wings. Their queso is strange and the pico that it came with was not the freshest. The additional star is for the bartender. She was great- I'd give her more stars but any time we'd ask about a menu item- it was "I don't know I haven't tried it." That was our experience so I'm interested to know about your experience. This would be a 1 star except for the fact that our waiter was kind and it wasn't his fault. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and received nothing like what I was expecting. When I asked the waiter if I received it by mistake he agreed it wasn't right. The kitchen sent it back to our table insisting it was right. Come for the beer, not the food. read more

The service is always great. It food is good too but today I tried their Chili Angus Dog and it was not good. I took one bite and that was all I could take. I told our server that it wasn't good and she apologized. When we received the bill the Chili Dog was still on the ticket. If you are in San Antonio this is the place to eat! They have an amazing wide variety of great food. Nothing is fried, they have specialty ovens that cook food to perfection. The drink menu is also a wide variety, the Red Sangarias are absolutely hands down the best I've ever had, and I'm a veteran at Sangria. Our service was impeccable, we had Avery who made the perfect suggestions for food and drinks. The owners even came to our table. We will definitely come back everytime we are in San Antonio. I recently went to Tables and Taps, needless to say I was not impressed. The food took almost an hour to prepare and when it came to the table it was cold. I informed the person who seemed to be in charge of the issue and they didn't have a response. I feel that if the company provides a service or product that is not satisfactory, then they at least apologize for the problem. I was surprised to find out that they were backing up their service with no acceptance of responsibility.
