The prices are very reasonable, I paid $6 for linen pants and $10 for a fuzzy pullover. The staff is so incredibly friendly and kind, and all proceeds go to support a local hospital. I haven't really interacted too much with the people working there, but I've never had any issues with checking out. Additionally, when I asked to get my consigned items back (brand-new Ferragamo black pumps and YSL boots (worth $2,000 retail)) the staff seemed lost in their own system. They first said I'd already been paid for it (looking at my other sales), then claimed my consignment had "expired"after 90 days--even though it had only been about 70 days. They eventually admitted they couldn't find my items and said it must have been "stolen" and gave me just a $50 credit (Their contract states they aren't liable for lost or stolen goods, so consigners get no reimbursement), so please don't bring your high-end items here. They are disorganized, inexperienced, and unprofessional. If you want real expertise, integrity, and quality good go to New To You, where I've shopped and consigned for over 15 years--they know their brands, have high end goods prices right and take care of their consignors. You are not getting much of a bargain and may pay close to the same price brand new. This store is extremely selective accepting what you bring in. Despite bringing in clean, well-kept items (some have never been worn) very little was accepted, which made the experience feel like a waste of time. After reviewing most of their inventory on the racks, it was hard to understand why many of the items I brought in were not accepted. It may be the "manager's" bias as she inspected the items. She was polite in a very insincere way trying to explain to me what she would accept and not accept, which was all very random. Was that really her natural voice?!! The first time I thought maybe I was just being overly self-conscious but this last experience tonight solidified that I will never return to this store. As soon as a customer left the two girls working started making fun of how the guy pronounced the name of whatever the designer was that his partner bought clothes of. And they carried on making fun of other coworkers, customers, friends of theirs, ex boyfriends, etc. I just felt so disheartened and uncomfortable and I hope one day, they realize that it's not really that cool or funny to tear other people down. Especially because half their conversation was how "funny" they are and need to do stand up and how they hate when other people think they're so funny when they're really not which was...ironic.
