After waiting about 20 minutes in the lobby, I was brought into a room and told by an assistant that I was there for a teeth cleaning and X-rays. I explained that I had just had a recent cleaning with my regular dentist and already had X-rays. After waiting again, I was then told they could not do an exam without taking new X-rays. They offered to do them for free, but that felt odd to me since this is supposed to be a more health-conscious form of dentistry, and I didn't want unnecessary X-rays. No one told me ahead of time that I should have my existing X-rays transferred over, which is something I could have easily done before the appointment had I known. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience. The staff did not seem clear on the purpose of my appointment, and the communication felt disorganized. The work I was considering is not inexpensive, and as a potential new patient, I would have expected the office to handle a consultation inquiry with more care and professionalism.

Here's what I've found with Dr. Bendi and the entire team at Alora Dental. They're on time. Waiting and uncertainty can throw off an entire day, so this matters more than many people realize. I've even felt comfortable texting the front desk before my appointment to ask if they're running on schedule, and they've always been kind and helpful. The sensory environment is also manageable and predictable. The lighting is bright but not overwhelming, which is to be expected in a dental office. The temperature is usually comfortable, though occasionally a little cool. The office has a neutral smell, and the staff wear little to no overpowering fragrances. Most importantly, I feel known, respected, and genuinely cared for. Dr. Bendi is gentle, thorough, and consistently puts both my overall health and dental health first. I especially appreciate his understanding that many neurodivergent people process information through bottom-up thinking. He takes the time to explain details rather than expecting blind trust, and that makes a tremendous difference. This may only be my second or third public review, but I felt compelled to write it. Pleasant tech asked me to put my purse in one room while we walked passed patients in chairs to get to the panoramic machine. No vest was placed on me for protection like was done when I had a panoramic done elsewhere. Tech told me it would take 3 days for the before and after photos would be available to see. After one week of waiting, I was told they were waiting for the lab. Also, no one asked to schedule my next appointment. I didn't hear back after asking receptionist for a phone call from the dentist (so I could privately explain my experience instead of doing it here). I had requested a written breakdown of cost and got just one sentence from one of the 3 different front-desk women (not a breakdown of services like other offices provide) and it didn't match the deal on their website which is why I had asked for clarification. Three patients were being taken care of by hygienists in an open room; I prefer a private room. Dentist's website advertises a fantastic deal for Invisalign. It may be a great opportunity, but I didn't move forward. He is not short of patients, so I realize he doesn't need my business and will carry on without me.

I'm new to the area and was looking for a new dentists. Fortunately for me they had a cancellation at the time I arrived and were able to take me back within moments. Talk about luck! Anyway, I was really pleased with Dr. T's gentle hand (I've had cleanings in the past that we're not that great and a bit painful tbh, but this was a positive experience overall). He also gave me a recommendation for an orthodontist which was pretty cool. Overall a really friendly easy-going staff. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

Dr approach me about this and was not pleased I didn't have time for X-rays. Dr didn't even talk to me about my teeth, just about being mandatory to get x-rays every two years. They charged me for x-rays anyway, $209.00 (that is including a 5% discount for paying in full lol).

I had some extensive repair work done. Dr. Savage was so gentle and patient with every step.
