The corporate overlords have decided that the best way to improve customer service is to lock up the bathrooms, remove the fitting rooms while adopting a very time consuming and inconvenient return policy for store credit only. Every other Goodwill in the area has the same challenges but they are able to handle the changes without the employees making the customers feel like they are a nuisance. Then there are the prices. This store gets some great stuff DONATED but they often price things at or above what a retail store would charge. I used to shop here almost daily. Now, I can't justify dealing with the abuse by the surly employees for the chance to pay too much for things.

I get that and respect that. Did it leave a bad taste in my mouth about the experience thus far? Absolutely. Was the section too good to pass up? Yes. We move on. The attendant described a section that they had toys that my daughter could look at. We go over to look and play. There's also a circle table with a large undone puzzle. My daughter touches one piece, she wasn't throwing it around, wasn't being a menace in any way yet the front attendant comes around and tells us not to touch it and that it was for "adults only". Okay. I get it lady. Nothing in here can be touched apparently. I think if a place listed as a thrift store doesn't want young children playing with toys in the toy section that they should have some signs or something. I frequent thrift stores every week and have never had an issue even in upscale antique stores. We move on, the attendant is now "inconspicuously" following us through the store. She even squeezed through the rack behind me and the white/blue cushion chairs hanging from the wall for what reason? I have no idea. We ended up leaving shortly after. I really wish I could've donated to cancer research today instead of getting profiled and told not to touch toys that were in the toy section.

Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing and honestly confusing. I came in with my newborn son and my mom, and after waiting a few minutes without being acknowledged we walked up to the front desk to ask for help. A staff member assisted us and showed a few bands. When I found one I liked, I asked if it could be made in yellow gold. She said she would check with the vendor and offered to clean my engagement ring so I could look at the bands with my clean ring. After a few minutes, she returned with my ring, and when I asked to try on another band, she told us she was now helping someone else and couldn't assist us further.This was surprising since she had been helping us the entire time up to that point. I was ready to move forward with purchasing a ring but never received an answer about pricing and was told no when I asked to see another option. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

We were quoted $1000 for a 2mm 10k gold band, we chose to go with something thinner and then was told the thinner band would be $1000 and the 2mm band was actually $1400, despite us having a voicemail proving that was not the original quote. This was after numerous delays and inconsistencies including: -waiting 2 weeks just to get a quote -voicemails saying items would be ready a certain day only to come in and find out they were never ordered -asking for 10k gold and being given prices for 14k gold without knowing. We contacted the owner and they sort of apologized but also denied that any of things mentioned above happened despite us having proof based off voicemails they left. It was also implied I was only upset due to the stress of wedding planning since this was suppose to be my wedding band which felt super dismissive. We were offered either $50 off or our deposit of $300 back and chose to have our deposit refunded, which we did appreciate.

If you are looking for a unique ring here is the place to go. They are very patient as you pick out your jewelry and don't try to upsell you. They listen to what you are looking for and help you find just what your heart desires. Their jewelry is truly magical I love that they have free cleanings and they always check to ensure the stones don't come loose. We try to come once a month or every other month depending on our schedules. Run don't walk as they are closing their doors around Christmas as it's time to retire. They have a big sale going on now and I'm hoping to get some matching earrings. It's going to be a sad loss to the community when they close their doors.

Howard was very welcoming and kind as other reviews noted. He also seemed very honest with fair pricing without trying to upsell. We plan to return to in the future once we're ready to purchase!
