I was hopeful that I would finally get relief from my excruciating shoulder pain. After a 2-3 minute visit I was given an injection in my shoulder and another appointment. I called a couple days later and told the nurse I felt no relief. I was told wait 10 days and call back if no improvement. I have called twice and had to leave a message both times. I never received a call back. So disappointed that I have been ignored. Hopefully I can get a referral for another Orthopedic doctor where I am given successful treatment, care and respect. Despite the great reviews by others, I Do Not Recommend Decatur Orthopedic Center.

I was treated by Dr. Garcia (Podiatry). MRI was not ordered for a swollen and painful ankle after…read more5 weeks from date of injury. The clinic refused to provide an order to schedule MRI for any imaging facility other than their own. I requested my X-rays on 2 occasions via email (through sportsmed patient portal) and once through voice mail. I never received a reply nor a call to obtain the records. Dr. mentioned possible surgical procedure may be needed after the MRI (almost 3 weeks after MRI) follow up appointment. No thank you, I will be treated elsewhere at a facility that is much more responsive to patients. If a doctor can't order an MRI timely I will have surgery elsewhere if needed. Yes, I have excellent health care coverage so that was not the issue.

Every one is so nice and sometimes so very busy keeping the flow so patients don't lose their patIence! I always bring some form of entertainment incase I go at a busy time. I love scrabble and word games so time is feeling much shorter. So far I love this office and the hard working office people. Thank you all. Maureen Feld
