I inquired for several months regarding their Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) service and was unable to learn much about the details and pricing of the service. Often, my emails, text messages, and voicemails were ignored. Just before Father's Day, they advertised a TPI Father's Day special which I signed up for. I was told that I needed to contact a specific therapist, by text only, to schedule the initial assessment. The initial assessment went ok, except the therapist was slightly late for the appointment, and was told the TPI assessment results would be emailed to me in a few days. A few weeks later I finally received the computer-generated assessment. I found the assessment details to be very lacking; the report was very generic and simplistic. The Father's Day package included the initial assessment and 4 or 5 follow-on sessions. Before departing from the initial assessment, we scheduled the next appointment. On the morning of the scheduled appointment, I received a text indicating that it was a holiday, and they were closed...so they scheduled an appointment on a closed holiday! The therapist repeated that the best, and only way, to contact her regarding scheduling appointments was via text. I tried calling the main office and the other employees said that I needed to communicate directly with the therapist via text. After frustration with no replies, I finally asked for a refund. Over the next five months, I was promised a refund, when I was able to get a response. The therapist always had an excuse. She was out of town, had sick relatives, or was just busy. Often weeks would go by after sending a text message without a response. Finally, after about 6 months I gave up. Austin's promises made are not promises kept. The purpose of this review is to share my experience.

But the difference in care is so drastic! I was floored at the kindness, attention to me and not the clock. Everyone is a part of your team cheering you on to the next goal of strengthening your muscles and rebuilding confidence that you will meet your goals. As an elder, I wasn't expecting much. Usually you are treating as if you have lost your ability to look ahead after healing not moving into your new future. This is the place for comforting, moral boosting and overall knowledge of how to care for my needs. Treat yourself to what you deserve. And in my opinion this is the gold standard for after surgery care.

It was wonderful working with Physical Therapists who understand runners and cyclists both physically and emotionally. Every session is different and begins with questions about what has happened since the previous session. At that point, the Physical therapist adjusts the plan for the day if needed. Sessions with Andrea and Cindy (Madison, County Line location) included exercises plus hands-on treatment for specific areas including massage, rolling, suction cups or whatever is needed. With their education and decades of experience they identified spots that needed attention when I did not realize those spots were the source of problems. The initial examination was very thorough and documented to identify progress. Nesin's holistic approach really worked for me. I had two sessions at a large facility and knew the impersonal cookie-cutter approach was not a good fit for me. I am so grateful that I switched to Nesin. The NTS facility is not large and overwhelming but still has tremendous resources. The staff made sure I understood how to do specific exercises at home and were very reinforcing when my progress showed that I had been working. After sessions I felt spoiled and rewarded sitting with TENS (mild electrical current to reduce pain) and either ice or heat. I am incredibly grateful for the NTS team and highly recommend them.

My doctor sent me to physical therapy at TOC. I have been to this location's PT floor in the past…read more I met with Scott and he gave me several exercises to do at home that may help my knee pain. My knee was swollen and he performed lymphatic massage to help get some of the fluid on my knee down. He told me my pain would increase if fluid builds up in my knee and if the pain became unbearable, the next step would be to have the fluid removed. Scott is very knowledgeable and we discussed CBD oils and creams that may help with pain. My only complaint about TOC is the parking there is difficult. When the business was established years ago, there was no crystal ball to determine the population growth would be what it has been here in Huntsville. They need double the occupancy they have or at least 3 additional floors for parking.

Dr Lanier knew it was my first time to see a chiropractor so he talked me through the process of my first treatment as he was working on my back so I would know what to expect. It was incredibly helpful to know ahead of time what part of my back he would be working on next. He made me feel comfortable by chatting with me while adjusting my back. The office staff are very welcoming and efficient. They greet everyone in a way that I felt very welcomed. Once you are an established patient (go one time) you can go in anytime during the doctor's hours and get an adjustment without an appointment. I honestly was a bit skeptical about that and thought it would take a long time and that there would be a lobby full of people who popped in, but I have not had to wait more than 10 minutes. Constantly cheerful and encouraging, Emma obviously loves her job and loves working with patients. At Focus, you always have a 2nd therapist who helps run you through the exercises, and I often work with Ashton, who is also terrific: knowledgeable, diligent, and lovely. The location itself is always bustling whenever I go, but I've never had a problem finding parking, it's always very clean and well-kept, and it never feels crowded.
