At my daughter's appointment, I specifically asked about the treatment that was recommended. The staff member told me, "It looks like your plan covers it, so you shouldn't have to pay anything." Based on that information, we agreed to proceed. Weeks later, I found out the insurance did not fully cover the services, and now I owe $152. This is frustrating because I relied on the information provided by the office before authorizing treatment. I understand that insurance claims can be unpredictable, but if coverage cannot be confirmed, patients should be told that clearly instead of being reassured that everything is covered. Accurate communication about costs is important so families can make informed decisions. I hope the office improves its insurance verification process to prevent this from happening to other patients.

The waiting area was clean and each room was private with a large television with Xfinity playing on it. I went in to get 3 teeth extracted from the back of my mouth, and the dentist was so quick, that when he was done I made sure he hadn't made a mistake and had taken care of each issue, which he had done. They numbed me up well, so I felt no pain, just some pressure, which is to be expected. I will happily go back to this dentist's office anytime I need help.

For the filling appointment, again my experience was fantastic. Sandra numbed me up. Dr. Mensah-Boateng was cautious about causing pain, asking to ensure I wasn't experiencing any while drilling. Sandra put my fillings in, and they are GREAT. Dr. Daniel Mensah-Boateng and his staff are the BEST dental experience I have ever had.
