She was compassionate, involved, and knowledgeable about all aspects of what we needed. Her help in getting my dad in a beautiful room was exactly what we needed but didn't know how to go about securing. While the transition is never easy Tonya and the staff ay Paramount Bethel Park have made him (and us) feel welcome and cared for. We would, without hesitation, recommend Paramount Bethel Park to those looking for a safe, caring and beautiful place to live.

Please do your homework before placing your loved one at this facility. Please ask questions,…read moreturnover rate of staff, how many agency caregivers are working, caregiver to patient ratio. Look at the turnover rate of the people running the place. What does that include? What is the average time to answer a call bell..but please do not be fooled what they do is send somebody in to quickly turn off the light and will tell your loved one, " I will tell the nurse." Help is usually at least 30 minutes away or more. Due to Covid the meals were in the room brought up in a cardboard box and 99% of the time my moms food was placed out of reach. Never opened or set up for her to eat. Not to mention the food is cold and the tiny plastic utensils that are handed out are the size for a preschooler to use and very flimsy. Many of the meals I would have a hard time eating due to the size of the bun or meat itself let alone an 85 year old woman with missing teeth. Often times the meals were just left all day without being picked up. My moms pills were left on the bedside stand more than once and I even found medicine on the floor that I am certain was charted as given. My moms pull up many times was soaking wet with urine, she did develop skin breakdown, that I had to mention to the staff to get ointment to put on. They never even saw it. Using a wipe after changing her was never even a thought, something else I had to tell the staff to do. Many meetings with the people running the place did nothing. They sat there and listened and all these false promises that never happened. My moms personal property was used for other residents, they would just come in and " borrow as needed," even during Covid. I caught the staff playing on her computer while she was asleep. Items went missing more than once. My mom like so many older people was afraid to say anything to me because of the fear of the ramifications. The second and third floor reek of urine. During many visits to my mom I would be there for hours without a single soul checking in on her. We ended up hiring help to sit with her on top of paying that astronomical prices of that place. I ended up calling the state and other places to look into this facility. I could write a book of horrors and just might. I just am trying to help others not to be fooled. I believe that place could sell snow to an Eskimo. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me, 412-742-8015. I will be more than happy to provide proof to anybody that is looking at the Paramount at BP. We had cameras installed so my complaints and concerns are 100% documented. If I could save just one elderly person from what we went through I would feel happy. I would not put a dog at this place.

I've had back and neck issues for over 20 years and had every type of therapy possible. My initial exam was thorough and the digital x-ray allowed me to see the results and discuss them with Dr. Palamone. I liked his approach and the fact that he listens and explains his approach thoroughly and is extremely knowledgeable. It's great to use the hydro table before my adjustment. It's like lying on a heated water bed with jets on your back. By the time it's finished, I'm extremely relaxed for the adjustment. The table used for adjustments is designed so you don't have to bend or sit up to get on and off it. Instead, you stand in front of it and it lowers to the ground. I've been to many practitioners who negated the adjustment by having you sit up afterward, using your stomach muscles to get off the table. Dr. Palamone's adjustments are tailored for my issues and this makes a huge difference. He always asks if there's anything else bothering me, in case I didn't include it on the intake that day. Personally, I like that his initial and appointment intakes are digital. I was able to fill out my medical history at home before my appointment and give an accurate history because I could research any questions I didn't anticipate. It's also nice to contribute to a green business. The staff is very warm, professional and helpful. Again, I'm thrilled that I found them. (I've not said this about any business so far in Yelp)

Staff fixed this when I brought it to their attention, but I am uncomfortable with how they handle patient information. I found the lack of privacy during the appointment additionally uncomfortable. I have never before been to a chiropractor where you're adjusted on a table in the middle of a room in clear view of other patients. And, the final disappointment of my visit was that the doctor spent less than five minutes with me. The first ten minutes they stuck me on a water bed, then I had approximately three minutes of doctor adjustment, then was told to come back later in the week. I wasn't able to continue visiting due to scheduling conflicts, but I won't plan on returning anytime in the future regardless of my schedule. The staff was nice and Dr. Palamone seemed enthusiastic and efficient, but this wasn't the place for me.
