The quality of service started at the top. I requested to have some packers to help prepare the house. They sent Ashley to sort, donate and prep the house. Ashley worked with my friend. Ashley's empathy, kindness, guidance and outstanding work ethic has saved the day. She will continue to help at the new place making it a smooth transition. I rattled off a list of items that would be moved and estimated a number of boxes. My estimate of boxes was terrible. It was a one bedroom apartment and frankly, I haven't moved that many times so I was way off and that's totally on me. But somehow, all the furniture items I listed on the phone didn't make it to the work order so when the movers showed up on moving day, they were not prepared for the items to be moved. I want to state clearly that the two moving guys were amazing. I think the lead guy was named Manuel and he couldn't have been easier to deal with and he really wanted things to go well. Polite, efficient and everything I could ask for but they brought what was basically a Ford pick-up truck pulling a trailer based on what they thought they were hauling. But because they were amazing, they got more into the trailer than it originally looked like but not everything in the apartment. When we got to the new house, they were great at moving everything in. At that time, I got a call from the office wanting to settle the bill before everything was off the truck I guess. I was fearing a tense conversation but they were civil (and so was I) and we got it worked out. I was going to talk to them about another trip to get the remaining items but at the last minute decided the logistics of getting to the old apartment to meet the truck were too complicated for us and my son rented a U-Haul and picked up the remaining items the next day. So to sum up, I would use them again but: -I would want to see the work order in advance to make sure we were aligned on the items to be moved. In fact, I wish I would have written down what I had and emailed it to them. If you use them, ask to see the work order in advance. -Since I'm not a professional mover and have no idea how many boxes a move takes (we had the quoting conversation a couple of weeks before the move), I would hope that if I throw out a ridiculously low number (which I did) that they would question it based on their experience. If those two items had been handled differently by me and them, it would have easily been a 5 star experience for me and it could be for you.

They sounded professional it seemed like they had a good setup and I was quoted for a certain rate. I was quoted at $800 and then they told me if it went over the allotted time which was 3 hours and two drivers and also factored in mileage which we had preset they would just charge me the difference. The movers got there just after 8:00 a.m. everything went smoothly we did everything as we had planned. During conversation the gentleman said cash tips would be appreciated which I had no problem with. We got to our end destination which was a storage facility and the unloaded and then they use the iPad to stop the automatic timer So basically they start a timer in the beginning and then they hit the timer at the end. Everything is automated through an iPad I figured this was to keep people honest I thought that seemed to be a good system and I tip the gentleman $120 in cash The end total was $850 because we went just a little bit over the time I made my payment and went about my day this was on saturday. Today memorial Day Monday I get a call from the owner who tells me that the men calculated it wrong but how could that be when everything was automated they hit a timer in the beginning and a timer in the end They called it closing it out Now the owner calls me and says I owe more money. I am blown away and disgusted and have to question everything about this company because if it was automated using timers from beginning to end and everything was pre-planned we did nothing outside of what was agreed to and I gave a nice tip this is what I call bad business Sadly for them this could have been many referrals for the future as I work in an industry where I have to refer movers on a very regular basis. I even took a bunch of cards and told the guys I would put them on my office and refer.
