TruNorth was referred to us by one of their very happy customers, a strong connection at the UMN. TruNorth ran a free estimate on installing solar panels on our property. They then responded very quickly (within two business days) after running technical calculations as to the potential capability and benefits of having solar. They subsequently gave the recommendation for us to not install solar based on their calculations of costs and benefits. I was extremely impressed by their speed, frankness, and honesty in helping with us understand our plans for solar. They then gave a referral to one of their business partners to help us with roof repair. It is quite refreshing to experience such integrity and professionalism in business.

I have a small house (12 regular windows-2 picture windows) The cost was approximately $30/window. This is definitely a "luxury" service. Also, I was told it was disclosed but obviously not enough as I would never have paid by card which encountered a fee of an additional $13.00 on top of my $431.00 bill. I paid with a Visa debit card, a commonly used form of payment. Conclusion: This is a service that provides a good service. After emailing back and forth with the owner/manager (?) regarding the "surcharge" I was left with an uneasy feeling that there was just something not trustworthy about this business. Hopefully, I'm wrong. Do the research. There are now several window services in the St.Croix Valley.
