I went in for a 60 minute deep tissue massage today and when it came time for payment I provided a 20% tip, which to my past experience, would be plenty. When I asked for change for a $20 (because they required that I take money out of their ATM vs. using my card, which they have a system for) I was given a hard time for tipping 20%. After this rude interaction the woman at the front desk told me that the masseuse "gets like that", which to me is not OK. Apparently if you plan to get a massage here they expect a tip for more than what was provided. If it was an outstanding massage, I would've tipped higher. read more

The worst massage me and my partner have ever had. Not only were the lights bright and the masseuses were talking to each other the WHOLE time but our massages were all over the place. He requested a relaxing massage and got a deep thumb pressed along his whole body. I requested a deep tissue and got periods of soft touch or her boney elbow on all of my bones. They were so distracted with their conversation that they were pressing with elbows into the same sore spots for long periods of time. Not to mention our feet were never even touched once throughout the whole hour! I am so sore and tense after leaving that place. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE! read more

I got a Groupon for a couples massage. The space itself isn't very relaxing. The room was bright, had no music and had a curtain hiding all the extra towels, lotion & supplies. The beds were extremely close together and the floor was dusty. The massage itself was comical. The lady basically just used her elbow to go up and down my body. It was painful at times. The employees were also having a full blown conversation and left the room multiple times to get towels, stone etc. You get what you pay for! read more

Found out about this place because of Groupon. Definitely happy I found it and would recommend going there. I used to be a massage envy member and this place gives better service for the same price. $60 for 60min standardly and includes hot stones. Very clean. Good music (though it did cut out a few times). Sheets were amazingly soft! Judy worked with me and she used a variety of techniques and was able to pin point and work out my areas of tension and check in on how I was feeling throughout. 4 stars instead of 5 because of the music cut outs, thin walls, and twice (maybe this isn't typical?) another worker started conversations with my therapist through the wall which was kinda weird but the matter was semi-urgent. They did give me a $10 credit for my next visit which is great and I definitely plan on going back to see if the small hiccups that made it a four star review is typical or not. read more

I wrote a review Energy Massage before but after a recent visit I wanted to write a new review and give them 5 stars. us. This time I had one of the best custom massages ever. I say "custom massage" because I usually request deep tissue work but after tying myself in knots doing a home improvement project I was aching and sore all over. I made an appointment at Energy and when I arrived I told the manager (Judy) that I needed work on the sore areas but could not take the traditional deep muscle work. She really listened and explained everything in Chinese to my therapist so there was no loss of information. The massage itself was terrific! The therapist was super and kept checking in to see if everything was good. She also seemed able to sense the points where my muscles were too sensitive and focused GENTLY until they loosened up. Worst massage ever. This place doesn't have warm feeling at all. The lady who greeted me just sent me to a room and told me to get completely undressed and she left and closed the door. Leaving me without any information about who was my massage therapist or what I wanted to focus on my massage or pressure level. Anyhow, when the MT came she asked "what are your problems?" I explained then she said " you have a lot not good" then she went right to a deep tissue around my neck and shoulders wIthout warming my muscles first . Then she un draped me "OMG" my whole buttocks was completely exposed. Also she jumped on the table and started to massage my gluteal area that I felt like getting up and leaving, but I was so confused in that moment. I never felt so vulnerable than during that massage. I found this place on Groupon and thought I'd gift it to my son who was home on a short military leave after a grueling few months in bootcamp. Before they started, he explained to the masseuse what he wanted and didn't want - He was simply looking for a RELAXING massage, not deep tissue. Unfortunately, despite the many times he interrupted her to remind her of this, she continued to put more pressure than was necessary; at one point, using her elbows. In the end, he felt worse than he did before...and I felt bad - The gift that was meant to soothe him, only served to cause him more pain and discomfort.
