I had a very positive experience with Energy Savers. I was initially skeptical because there were promises and deadlines that sounded like they would be very difficult to meet. I had the entire house sided and several windows installed. Despite my concerns, everything was done very well. I know a fair bit about construction, but I have significant vision issues. Nevertheless, I had it inspected by a trusted friend who is a retired builder, and he said the workmanship was of high quality. The siding was uniformly installed with no waves along the long walls. The windows were capped and sealed with a consistency. The installers worked at a swift pace, but did maintained an attention to detail. Throughout the process, the workers were respectful and courteous, and Bill, the owner, was on-site to monitor progress and address any issues, not that there were any of great concern. The entire process was completed in three days. There were several workers going for almost 12 hours each day. The site was left clean, both inside and outside. Additionally, Bill made a couple of good suggestions regarding how the soffits meet/feed into the siding. The suggestions were great because it preserved some of the character/charm of the original appearance of the house. There was one issue with how some HVAC lines were reattached, and it was fixed immediately. As for value, I think you get what you pay for. Although the price was competitive, it was not the cheapest. With that said, overall, this was a positive experience, and I would recommend Energy Savers for siding and windows. Tom read more

Spent $10,000 on windows and siding 8 years ago. Now, I'm calling the place to have them repair siding that flew off the side of the house due to wind. Mind you, it was the ONLY house within 3 blocks radius that had siding come off. Here I am thinking that the receptionist will have someone come out and reinstall/replace the section that came off for free, due to very poor workmanship. Nope! She insists on me paying the man $100. She says "You're not paying us. We're not making any money off of it but you have to pay for the labor"?? I already paid you guys $10,000!!! No other house was damage so therefore it was poorly placed onto the house, which you placed OVER the old vertical siding and vtek. Don't waste your money here. Poor customer service and very poor quality workmanship, or lack there of. I think the receptionist is related to the owner somehow, made way too many excuses and there was no sense of urgency to rectify the situation. read more

Let me start by saying that Energy Savers definitely knows their windows-when the city told me that I needed a specific type of window for my house to be brought up to code, Energy Savers knew exactly what I needed so that I did not need to worry about all of those specifications. Initially, I was skeptical about moving forward with them as the receptionist was not particularly friendly, however, I am glad that I decided to move forward with the work. Mickey was very friendly and made sure that I knew each step of the process. There was a day in which the workers just did not show up as scheduled, but when they did show up they put in quality windows and cleaned up the work area. Had five windows and a patio door installed on May 22nd 2019. The workmanship was very poor for the windows. Once they installed the trim around the window we basically lost our window ledge. The patio door install went a little better but they damaged my deck and walls in the process. read more

Greed. I find they only service to people with big orders and leave people as I waiting by the phone that never rings. Never returned calls twice and I was a former customer. Because of putting my home on the market, Time is valuable and the woman on the phone was rude. I had my windows replaced in two phases with a price tag over $13K. The company was punctual and the wait time was reasonable during both phases. During phase one installation, a crew was sent to do the install and the job was completed in unbelievable time. Winter came and air was coming through the seals around the windows. I learned that none of the windows were caulked. I called Energy Savers and they responded within a few days to caulk the windows. Phase two which was a year later, only one guy was sent to complete the install. It appears that he did a great job but it was an all day project. I called the company to express dissatisfaction in the time it took for phase two in comparison to phase one. I didn't get satisfactory answers until a lengthy discussion with the owner. Excuses were offered but a resolution was reached. I promised to write a review and here it is. The hardware on phase one is slightly different from phase two but that's ok. I actually like the hardware better on the phase two windows. So far, I am satisfied with the windows but time will tell. read more

We had Energy Savers come out a couple months back for an estimate. I have never been so insulted! The salesman fist asked who we had do other windows....when we said the name, he laughed and said they're more expensive (not even asking what type of windows we purchased!). Nor did he measure, ask how many windows we needed, or what type of window. He simply said, "I knew this would be at least a 40K job when pulling down the street". Excuse me??? I have a hard time believing they actually make a sale with that attitude! This was almost double of other estimates we've received! I completely understand that good quality can cost more, but he never even mentioned what type of window he was selling, why it's better than other competition, etc. Energy Savers really need to train their salesman to have more knowledge on their actual products, and not just bash others companies that are also reputable. It surely doesn't look good for your business model. We took our money elsewhere. read more

I used Energy Savers a couple of years ago to side my home and also needed a 5'-6" tall by 10' wide casement bay window replaced. This window is beautiful the casements work effortlessly. Never any fogging or issues at all fit and finish is flawless. The siding was also a chore as the entire bottom of my home was block so it all had to be firred out and insulated before the siding was installed. It has held up beautifully and would highly recommend them. read more

In August of 2005 l had the Enegry Savers install my windows. l have a Full Lifetime Non-Prorated Transferable Warranty for the Guardian Window Series. My Picture Window has developed a crack - Glass Breakage is suppose to be a Full Lifetime Warranty.When l called and told them of my problem - they said it was not covered because l had Brown Vinyl Windows installed. They said they could replace it for 690.00. l was never told the the color of my Vinyl would effect the Window Warranty..Under the circumstance l would not recommend doing business with them. These windows are garbage. Don't waste your money. After spending over $10K on windows, 2 years the seals were damaged. They replaced the seals in the windows that needed them. 2 more years past - all my main floor windows are garbage. They don't stand by their product. They claim there is nothing wrong when someone came by to look (did they talk to me? Nope). I'm sure they never even drove by. I showed them a picture and they offered to replace the glass for over $1,000. Again, these windows were not even 5 years old at that time. We needed 5 windows for our home and received the wrong windows as the UV rating was not correct. The installers came 10 days later with the proper windows but were late in arriving and the inspector who needed to approve the windows had left due to their tardiness. I would not use this company again. read more
