We had been considering engineered hardwood but that would have cost 4 times as much. Today the installation was completed. His crew was fast, hard working, professional, and pleasant. After they left, I realized that some of the furniture was not where we wanted it and we were unable to move it ourselves. Even though it was a Friday afternoon with miserable traffic, Jerry and his son came back and moved the furniture for us. That was above and beyond. The floors are beautiful. The price we paid was terrific. We highly recommend Five Star Floors to anyone in the bay area who needs expert flooring installed. They live up to their name!

Additionally, Noe and Mario were skilled craftsmen and installed the carpet in our office, spare bedroom, and dining room. Our house looks brand new. They messed up our based boards, broke running boards in our kitchen, etc. The entire flooring started to buckle up within 1 year. After more than a year of chasing them due to our flooring being under warranty, they finally got an inspector out, who said the install was bad. After another 6 months of chasing them, they finally came to reinstall the flooring, only to find out that the first time, they didn't install a moisture barrier. They didn't purchase enough flooring, which BTW, how do you not know how much to buy when after "30 years in business" and they had our house measurements from the first time?!? Never came back to finish the job. Now we have exposed flooring, duct tape everywhere, and an unresponsive company... These guys are terrible!

BEWARE! extreme price gouging…read more I requested a quote from him and scheduled him to come the next day. he never showed or responded when I asked if he was still coming. after a few weeks I was having family coming over and needed to get it done so inquired about getting the service done and an estimate. I have gotten three estimates before and all were around $200-$250. I sent him pictures and he told me it would be $950.to trim plants and pull weeds, that were just pulled last month!!! there is no lawn just plants that need trimming and some weeds, and we just got a service 1.5 months ago, so it's not out of ridiculous order... it's a kept backyard .. he is insane and a price gouger. if you want to pay 10 times the amount for something you can probably do yourself hit up this guy..

He speaks with you about what you want and then makes it happen. So far he's done a massive yard clean-up for our neglected property and now he's putting in irrigation to various landscaping and a small orchard I planted. A perfect example showing he cares about the client and his work, when I saw the drip irrigation emitters in our front walkway were a red color (we agreed 2 gph emitters but I didn't know they were red) he immediately offered to switch them out for black (1 gph). I have several more projects I need help with and have no hesitation in hiring him. I can't recommend Caesar enough.
