My boys love to bowl! I'm hopeless but I have fun doing it, and Bowl 10 has been a place we've been very curious to try. I am so glad we did! What a gem this place is! We ended up having an amazing night, and cannot wait to go back again. I have a feeling we will become regulars here, as it is close, the food is great for a bowling place, and the staff are truly warm wonderful people to interact with. Their facility is surprisingly modern and well kept. You can really tell somebody put a lot of love and vision into this business within a few minutes of looking around. The sofas where you sit as you bowl are done in a plush velour-esque fabric, and overall, were in great condition. Their bathrooms looked like something I'd expect of a fancy restaurant with their recessed lighting and beautifully done mirrors and new fixtures. I can always tell a lot about a business by the condition of it's bathrooms! If the bathrooms are neglected and dirty, imagine what the kitchen, behind the scenes where you cannot see, looks like! This place passed the test. Their full bar was done tastefully in black and white tile, had ample seating, with a wrap around bar and many flat screen televisions playing sports. Football season anyone? This place would be a fun place to bring the whole family, kids too, for a sports night out! Their cute little arcade room in the back seemed like a fun hangout for middle aged children and for birthdays while they even have a gathering room set aside for small informal meetings that looked like a cozy place to socialize in semi-private. They have lockers available (for purchase I assume) and vending machines if their bar menu doesn't do it for you, but with options like Burgers, Grilled Ham and Cheese sandwiches (with thin sliced ham) and unique options like their signature Funnel Cake Fries served with REAL Maple Syrup from a local farm or how about some Deep Fried Soft Pretzels with Cheese Sauce, you'll be sure to find something you're interested in. Their food is very reasonably priced, made right, and according to my Husband, absolutely delicious comfort style food. They have 20 lanes available for your bowling pleasure. Their lane prices were very reasonable; our bill came to $40.00 for three of us to bowl two games, shoe rental, two appetizers, one entree and four drinks, three of which were alcoholic. My Husband was impressed that they had good beer available (he had a Blue Moon) served with a wedge of orange, and I had a glass of White Zinfandel. I wish they had better wine options! I bet, with how awesome this place is, if I asked or suggested it, they would probably listen though! This place is a hidden gem, and as I said before, we all cannot wait to go back. If you've not ever gone to a place like this, you'll have to watch a very short video and sign a waiver. Once that's done, the instructor will go over the rules again, how to hold the axe and walk you through it when you're ready to throw. Before you know, you'll be a pro at axe throwing! Bar: There is a bar in the middle with a good amount of options of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Arcade: the wall opposite to the wild axe lanes is a wall of pinball machines. I didn't get a chance to play, but I think it's so cool to see. Next to the bar were more arcade games and a machine to get your arcade card filled or refilled. Facility & Staff: The whole place was clean, presentable and inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful! Parking: there is plenty of parking since this establishment is located in a large lot. And eat. And this was a great fair, and fairgrounds. Easy access off the highway. Easy parking, big lot with plenty of guides. Big venue, clean, with a big building up front for displays and vendors (and bathrooms.) ATM in there, and I think I saw one somewhere else on the grounds. Loads of fair food, rides, games, etc. Nice grandstand for the tractor pulls, etc. $10 for me to get in, free for Baby K (I think 6 and under are free.) Free parking. Loads of good, unhealthy stuff to eat. Everyone was friendly. No one was acting foolish. The park itself is big, and has a little playground and some basketball courts, on the way in. Probably other attractions too, but of course we were there for the fair, and the food.

This place used to be a great place to go and play sand volleyball. It recently went through…read moremanagement changes and has begin to go downhill. Yes, it is a business, but it is a business that is built off of being social, not a production line. They have implemented a rule that you only get 1 minute between your games to get the games in on time. I get keeping the games on time, but you are losing money from alcohol sales. Then they quit letting games run over. We played the other night and we were coming up on the next hour. We were ahead 18-16 with 3 minutes left, and when they cut us off at 21-20 when we were 3 minutes over. We usually play to 23. If they can't give any grace for games that are almost done, then it is just another reason why it is starting to suck there. If the refs can't keep the games on time, then hire new refs, or actually hire real refs. Most refs are just there paying off their session fees and are on the phone most of the time anyway. They used to give you 2 requests per session. Like if you couldn't do the 10pm hour, you could request that. Now you get one request or so they say. They used to actually try and fulfill those requests. They don't even try now. The schedule for Tuesdays this session is exactly the same as last session. team for team, hour for hour. All the did was change the name of the schedule from winter 1 to winter 2. So any requests were not met, we play the exact same teams in the exact same order. Which means there are 2 teams that we don't get to play for a second session. To me, that is just pure laziness. I don't know if the other days are like that. I hear a lot of grumblings among the players now, rule changes that no one knows about, lights being shut off right at 11pm. No grace period to get off the court and gather your things. The first session, I get it, new management is learning, but the second session only seems to be getting worse. It definitely is not the place I used to tell people to come and play at. Now it is just the place I play at for now.
