She has also been working with my teenage son for scoliosis. He had seen several physical therapists and doctors before Sara, and she was the first one to figure out the source of the problem (different leg lengths). His posture and conditioning have improved greatly since he started working with Sara. The fact that she can motivate him to do exercises at home says a lot about her relationship with her clients.

I'm so glad I pushed past my reservations, because I have had the most wonderful experience with Jaimie. She is incredibly respectful, kind, sensitive and not the least bit judgmental. Her active listening skills are through the roof, with the very Zen-like aura of someone who truly lives their craft but at the same time doesn't take herself too seriously. At our first visit we got right to work (highly appreciated!) in accordance with my particular health concerns. I've completed a full round of initial treatments, and I can say honestly that my health has really improved. Jaimie has been hugely supportive, both about my health progress, and during the actual process. Acupuncture, despite the claims of many acupuncturists (and some patients) isn't always painless-- at least not in my case. I felt totally comfortable working out a "warning system" and other strategies with Jaimie to deal with pain on insertion at sensitive points on my body like my hands and feet. She plays awesome music during treatment (a mix of nice classical arrangements and traditional Chinese music). She recommends excellent dietary changes and supplements where helpful. She makes sure my usually-cold feet are always covered with a warmed towel. Her rates are incredibly reasonable. She never rushes you. She totally rules. Jaimie shares an office with Dr. Popp, very T-accessible right by the Park Street Stop, which I have gushed about in a previous review -- these two are a health power couple! Between them, I feel like I've hit health care BINGO. My life is significantly better because they are in it. I was skeptical of acupuncture, and wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by the results. When looking for an acupuncturist, it seemed like many places have a very general approach and do the same thing for every injury. Lisa was different; she listened to how the injured occurred and came up with a treatment plan. I did not tell her about the pain in my side because my train of thought was to treat one injury at a time. But without me saying anything, she found this and my other areas of pain and was able to treat them together. Overall, I am truly impressed with Lisa's expertise and her professionalism. Last year, Tracy treated me throughout my entire pregnancy, and it made many of the difficult symptoms so much more bearable. I completely trusted her to perform treatments that were safe during my pregnancy. Since she specializes in Japanese style acupuncture, which his less "invasive" and gentler than the Chinese style, I never had any concern. I always left the table relaxed, more comfortable and pain-free, qualities which were invaluable during that time in my life. This year, I've been seeing her for stress-related ailments (par for the course when you're a new mom!), and she's helped to bring me so much relief, both physically and mentally. Tracy is extremely knowledgeable about her craft and imparts her knowledge with patience and clarity whenever I ask her questions, especially about any of the interesting tools and techniques she uses (e.g. moxibustion, bear warmer, cupping, etc.).
