I just want to start off by saying thank you to our tour guide: Jorge and the entire ETM team for an awesome experience. My boyfriend and I celebrated his birthday in hungry valley today and we had a blast. Our guide was very mindful of the fact that I was a beginner and that my boyfriend was the one with experience so during our tour he slowed down and checked up on us constantly. We had a few minutes left in our tour and Jorge took my boyfriend on a more difficult trail which led to an awesome ending of our tour. Thank you ETM crew!

This company is top notch! I booked a one-hour ride at the LA / Hungry Valley location for me and my husband. It was a surprise experiential gift for his birthday and he absolutely had a blast. So pleasantly surprised that you could have an incredible outdoor experience like this 1.5 hours outside of the city. Really appreciate that the company provides very detailed instructions leading up to (and even on the day of) the ride - their Facebook messenger service is also incredibly helpful (they reply minutes after you send in a question). They also sent a text reminder the morning of our ride. Our two guides were helpful, attentive, and in tune with our speed and comfort level during the entire one hour ride. There was one particular passage that involved going down a steep hill and they made sure to check in with me beforehand to make sure I was comfortable (I was a bit hesitant but decided to go for it - so happy that I did!). True professionals but at the same time easy going, relaxed, and fun! Definitely recommend following ALL instructions they send - ie filling out waiver before you arrive, getting there 20min (at least) before the ride, following exact GPS coordinates to find the location, etc. We got to the location 30min before start time and we were glad to have had the extra time to use the restroom, layer up, and hydrate.

    Helmet check!

If you're looking for a fun adventure this is the place!!!! It's a little hard to find & maps on iPhone gives wrong directions so I would suggest calling when you're close by! Also plan to get pretty dirty so wear comfy clothes you wouldn't mind dirtying. They give you shoes & helmet so that's cool. Bring water for the trip if you're doing a 2 hour ride we went on a 2 hour ATV ride and JEFF was our tour guide and he was AMAZING!!! he took us on the coolest trails! We love speed and thrill so we did a lot of bumpy, uphill, downhill trails which was SO much fun. There's such a great variety of trails to go on for different skill levels so it's perfect for beginners- experts! I would definitely come back here for round 2!!

Took my boyfriend for his birthday and it was a great experience!! Was amazing to have our own private ride with our guide! We had a blast!! Everything was super smooth with booking and getting there. Would definitely go again and recommend!

To celebrate my two brother's birthdays my family decided to go ATVing. We did a few internet searches and landed on Enojy the Mountain. Orginally the date we wanted was booked, however we joined the waitlist and thankfully they were able to accomodate our large party. From our first virtual interaction with this company, to the moment we left Hungry Valley we felt taken care of. The booking process was simple and the instructions were clear. For a couple of us, this was our first time riding and we were not sure what to expect. Enjoy the Mountain insured any question we had was answered and that we were comfortable at all times. I would like to commend the staff for a wonderful experience. Everyone was so friendly and accomodating. You can tell they all love what they do, and that transcribes to when they take you out on the tour. If you are looking for a fun, imformative expereice look no further. Enjoy the Mountain is the place to go. We are already planning a trip back!

My husband and I wanted to do something different for Labor Day weekend..we decided to do atv riding! We are from Mississippi so we have always enjoyed the outdoors on an atv or 4-wheeler as we like to call it..never in a million years did we ever think about doing it in the openness in the heart of mountains! The BEST! We had soo much fun. It was only 1 more lady that was in our group..we had soo much fun.! Our tour guide was awesome and they definitely start on time..which is a plus!!

This was an awesome experience! Put it on your list when in Vegas. It is hot so wear light clothing! They do provide plenty of water on the trail.

We went to the Hungry Valley location. When I was asked what I wanted for my birthday I said I want my son to ride an ATV. So we chose enjoy the mountain. It was super easy all around. My son is special needs and both Dan and Jorge worked with him so that he had the adventure of a lifetime! Seriously brought tears to my eyes to see my son riding a full size ATV all by himself! He was in heaven. When we were driving home he said "this was the best trip ever!" Thank you Dan and Jorge! Thank you enjoy the mountain!

With such an inviting name, my friend and I wanted to be sure to check it out. Arriving in Pine Mountain Club on a Friday afternoon in April, we decided to save a longer trail for Saturday and visit the Enchanted Forest Trail with about 1.5 hours remaining before sundown. The trailhead is very simple to find. From there, the trail was not difficult to follow until it brought us to a rocky dry watercourse on the mountain. We had read that the track might get lost, but most of the reviews on AllTrails saying that were from winter. We had followed the path pretty easily until the watercourse, but at that point we lost it. We considered scrambling up the rocky gorge but that seemed wrong. At that moment, we heard voices echoing in the canyon, and that directed my attention over across the watercourse into the underbrush. We realized we could cross the gulch and find the trail on the other side. Locating the path, we soon passed the people coming down from the trail's end. We asked how it was, and they said "it gets steep and rocky." It had already been like that, so we wondered how much steeper and more rocky it might be. After going on for another 5-7 minutes, we arrived at an area on the path that felt like it was vibrating with energy. Neither of us is particularly spiritual but this place, where a large redwood had fallen with a tremendous, splintered split across its trunk and where someone had placed a stone cairn, felt inexplicably mysterious. (See my pic. The place where the trunk splits is taller than the height of a person.) The sun had just dipped behind the ridgeline, and we decided this would be where we would stop. It's an out-and-back trail, so why not make this our back point? On the way down the trail, I started to get tinnitus in my right ear. This isn't something that has happened to me in recent memory. Maybe because the area is so quiet, I could hear a ringing in my ears. But then, out of nowhere, a tree started dropping its leaves on the path to our left. No wind blew, nothing discernible changed. Leaves just started dropping. We thanked the forest for hosting us, and made our way down the path--without urgency, but expeditiously. Whatever's enchanting this forest was probably having a good time. We did too. Just be ready for a hint of the chills as you hike along.

It's literally off the 5 freeway a couple miles in and you at the town. It was about half hour or 45 minutes drive up the mountain from the freeway till where the mountain start. There's different sections that you could go to if you wanted to hike or camp. We didn't really know where and what trails there was. Just ended up at of the campsite parking lot and went from there. There's loads of trails to choose from. Theres sign at the base that'll tell you the levels of hike and the distance. Also, the path was pretty wide on the one we were at which was nice. Right when you get out of the car, you could already smell the difference in air quality. Mountain air, being in nature with all the beautiful trees and noise of the birds. This place was beautiful. The path was nice to walk, slightly uphill and not hard. We passed loads of people but it still felt very quiet as you're in the woods. There's still loads of wildflowers growing. Temperature wise, it was perfect as your at a higher elevation and there was also nice breeze. Just walking and seeing all the beautiful trees, some covered in moss. The chipmunks running past you along the paths, it's a completely different experience from the hustle and bustle of the city. The views were amazing. When you get to the lookout point where the tower is, there was two tins/cans along the rocks that you could leave a message. Notebook and pen was provided for signing. This particular trail wasn't hard even though it said it was but very manageable. About 2 miles each way. But the views along and at the top of the lookout was spectacular. It's amazing that an hour or so from the city, there's so many hidden gems. Nature is beautiful if you haven't noticed. And another place for hiking on our lists.

I wasn't prepared for the stunning beauty and challenging hiking conditions in early June 2023. An incredible adventure but not for the faint of heart! Parking: Follow Templin Highway to the east to a locked gate. You will be in the Angeles National Forest; an Adventure Pass is required to park in this location. The Trail: It's probably best to go with someone who's been here before (I was lucky in this regard.) Otherwise, make sure you map out directions ahead of time because there are virtually no trail signs to guide you. It's not too steep; the challenge is more finding the trail and the unique condition it's in at the moment. Due to the recent winter and spring storms, much of the trail is in shambles, with fallen trees and landslides and debris in your path. Then, there are the river crossings (or creek crossings, in less rainy years.) This can be treacherous; the water was at least shin-high in some places, not to mention the slippery algae, the rapid current, and obstacles under the water. We ended our hike after dark; a flashlight and/or headlamp highly recommended. Safety: There is no cell phone service in this location. A personal safety beacon is highly recommended, plus letting folks know where you are going and when you are expected to return. Take a first aid kit, enough water, food, and everything needed for a wilderness expedition. Wildlife: Bear have been reported here. Snakes are around; one of my hiking companions spotted a non-venemous snake in the dark and actually picked it up. I would *not* recommend touching any wildlife unless you are a trained biologist! Be alert. Scenery: The narrows are spectacular. There are springs, ferns, flowers, and the high canyon walls above you once you arrive at the canyon. This is one of the most beautiful destination hikes in Southern California and I feel lucky to have been able to visit. Free admission (but again, parking requires an Adventure Pass.)
