As a result, we overpaid for items we didn't need. Several items arrived damaged or unusable, including cracked glassware, stained/shrunken napkins, and worn easels. We also had to rewash more than half the glassware due to dirt. Communication was difficult due to a point-of-contact change, and overall customer service lacked the flexibility expected in the event industry. But, I felt the need to say something about this business. I recently had a wedding, which I booked Queens for, a year in advance. Beginning with, they showed up late. They provide the garnishments, but when they arrived without a knife to cut the garnishments and no way to cut them, none of the guests could get them. As well as the bartender kept leaving the bar during service. In my contract, it was written and signed that I would be provided with 2 bartenders. When only one showed up, I contacted the owner and was given a response of I only paid for one, and the 2nd one was a courtesy. If that was the case, then that should have been discussed with me ahead of time, when the contract was signed. I planned on having two bartenders, based on the number of guests. Also, my contract stated that I was going to have two bartenders. If I had known one unprepared, late bartender was going to cost me $650 I would have found another option.
