Rick was initially interested in my business, particularly when I indicated that I'd also like to talk about transferring insurance for our three cars when we completed the homeowner's transaction. After that, he consistently dropped the ball, specifically not following through or returning calls. Finally, I received the paperwork he promised and returned it promptly. He assured me that he would send the form to my carrier that day and the transfer would take about five business days to complete. I gave him more than two weeks, then called my carrier. They had no paperwork. I called the office and spoke with Nancy, who informed me that Rick was out of the office until late next week. She looked around his desk and found the transfer request that had never been sent to my carrier. Nancy sincerely apologized. She said the business was very difficult and busy these days. Yes, that happens, but I shouldn't have to chase down an agent to take my business. I really wanted to work with a local, independent agent, but it definitely won't be Desert View. Clearly, their business is booming, and they don't need new clients.

In sum, I appreciate the ease in which my needs are taken care of, and of course the price. I don't do email/docu sign computer stuff, so CPI sends everything via USPS.
