I did not knowingly sign up to finance my insurance premiums or agree to finance charges. Years later, after requesting my insurance records, I received transaction ledgers containing finance charges and installment-type entries that do not match how I remember paying my insurance. I have repeatedly requested the underlying payment history and documentation showing exactly how my payments were made and what authorization AAA relies upon to claim that I agreed to premium financing. This is particularly concerning to me because I specifically remember going into AAA offices and paying my insurance in full. If AAA claims that I elected to finance my premiums, I believe they should be able to produce the agreement or authorization showing that I actually chose that payment arrangement. Instead of receiving a clear explanation and complete documentation resolving these discrepancies, I have spent a tremendous amount of time trying to reconstruct my own payment history. I am not claiming that every employee at this branch was responsible for what happened. My review concerns my experience with the insurance policies and payments associated with AAA, including payments I made through the La Quinta office. Customers should keep their receipts and copies of every insurance payment they make. Based on my experience, I wish I had kept every single receipt from every year.

I also did not want to spend a beautiful morning in line with the sun glaring in my face from the front window, listening to grumbling members. Terrible. As I left the office, there were members still coming in. This is a small office compared to many that I have visited over the years. Perhaps it's time to open a new branch in between the only 2 branches in Coachella to accommodate the surplus of members in this area. We don't pay for membership to wait in line all morning. We can do that for free at the DMV. This seemingly never-ending queue is not fair to AAA employees either, having to deal with tired and grumpy members who did not anticipate a long line for assistance. Member 42 years.
