I was reminded that I went here when my phot was the featured one on the Yelp page! So I was told…read moreabout this spot by a friend at work that had went to La Bufadora twice in a 2 month span. He was impressed both times and gave his recommendation. Now, a lot of times I'll hear about a place and take note of it and even bookmark it which I did here. Also many times the hunger pangs don't always line up with future plans to visit a place. Maybe you can't wait that long.. In this case, we were heading to La Bufadora and I suggested we stop here. What a pleasant surprise! Some of the freshest seafood is prepared to order here, which does take a little extra time but well worth it. We were blown away by the friendly family atmosphere that had kept us happy as a clam.. We saw them preparing it all which doesn't get any fresher. And they kept coming back and checking on us and asking if we liked everything. Yes we did! Shrimp quesadilla, fish and shrimp tacos, ceviche I mean we tried a good cross section of the menu and it was all awesome! 4 of us ate for around $25, but it had been a year or two. It's a small spot that you can miss if you're not aware, but trust me you wouldn't wanna miss this place!

Eddie's Seafood is easily one of the most authentic and memorable seafood spots you'll find. If…read moreyou're craving a perfectly refreshing seafood cocktail, flavor-packed fish tacos, or juicy, expertly seasoned shrimp -- this place deserves an immediate stop. What makes Eddie's truly special isn't just the food, it's the experience. When you walk in, you don't enter a typical restaurant -- you're ushering yourself directly into Eddie's kitchen, where the magic happens. Eddie is the heart of it all. You'll see him cooking over the stove, taking orders like a seasoned pro, cracking jokes, laughing out loud, and treating every guest like family. There's no separation between chef and customer here -- Eddie brings you right into his world, making each visit feel like you're part of something bigger than a meal. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and it shows in every plate he serves. The food? Absolute perfection every time. Everything that comes out of the kitchen is homemade and crafted with care -- the cocktails are loaded with fresh seafood, the tacos are made with tender, flaky fish that's grilled or fried to golden perfection, and the shrimp is plump, seasoned generously, and cooked just right. Even the tortillas have that warm, handmade texture that store-bought simply can't compete with. The salsas and toppings are vibrant, zesty, and clearly made from scratch -- nothing here tastes mass-produced, and that's exactly why people keep coming back. Service is fast but personal, organized but unfiltered -- it's a controlled chaos that works in the best way possible. You're not just grabbing food, you're witnessing someone do what they were meant to do. Between orders, laughter, and local chatter, Eddie creates memories on the daily, and his customers become part of the story. So whether you're a local, a traveler, or someone who simply follows the roadside signs promising a great taco -- listen to them. When you see Eddie's signs, pull over. Walk in. Order a fish taco. And when Eddie looks your way, do yourself a favor and give him a holler -- because that's just how it's done here. Eddie's Seafood isn't just a place to eat... it's a tradition, a vibe, and a damn good meal. Highly recommended. You won't regret stopping by!

The last time my friends attempted to eat here, the restaurant was full and it will take at least a 30 minute wait to get seated. Today, the 21st of November was our lucky day as we were craving the freshest ceviche Ensenada has to offer and experiencce the five star rating Muelle 3 was known for. Our party of 4 chose to sit outside to eat lunch on this cool, cloudy Friday afternoon and be exposed to the sights and sounds of this busy commercial and fishing port. Within minutes of getting settled, our free appetizer - Tortilla Espanola and a plate full of lemon & lime slices with an oyster shell-full of sea salt and chili powder occupied the center of our table. Then came the Ceviche de la casa. A winner in my book of ceviches! Plus a coaster-sized, fresh off the pan tortilla chips gave it a unique serving style. We had to order another bowl of tortillas because eating ceviche without it just won't be the same. The Calamar frito were perefectly breaded, without excess flour and grease in every bite. Another winner! Last but not the least is the Pasta de Mar with the clams of different sizes and pre-cut scallops in the their shell. Muy Delicioso! More hungry patrons started arriving and we still got prompt service. I will make it a point to grab a satisfying seafood dish or two here the next time I visit Ensenada whether by car or by cruise ship.

I liked that they have colorful flags outdoors, which lent to the open and casual feel of this restaurant while also incorporating the Mexican culture. The waiter spoke English and was able to explain the menu. For drinks, I chose the Berry Sangria. This came in a huge glass! Loved the layering of this drink. I also ordered the Tamarind Margarita, which was darker than anticipated. Definitely had a tamarind forward flavor. I also had the oysters , which was nice and meaty but it wasn't as cold as I would like. I also tried the Ceviche De La Casa which had tuna, clams, octopus and tuna. This came accompanied with a bag of tostadas and four types of sauces. I loved the fact that you can adjust the flavoring of your ceviches with the available salsas including bottled ones that are brought to the table! I've never had this type of ceviche before and I was pleasantly surprised with different types of seafood that tasted fresh and vibrant. Definitely a great place to visit that wasn't overly crowded. I'd definitely visit again!

I was so excited to come here because I was on the hunt for a restaurant that served Aguachile! Options for the Aguachiles included Negro, Rojo, or Verde. I opted for the Aguachile Verde. The entire dish was so refreshingly light and palatable. I was obsessed with the taste of the fresh shrimp, cucumber, and red onion, all soaked in the tasty verde sauce and Tajín. It paired so well with the tostadas. It was also priced reasonably at MX$325, equivalent to about $19. The portion and abundance of the Aguachile were plentiful, as I was full when I finished. The ambiance of the restaurant was beautifully inviting and vibrant. I loved the presentation of the colorful, decorative papel picado flags, which added to the celebration of Mexican culture. The atmosphere was amazingly festive as a whole. The customer service was welcoming and friendly. Overall, La Cevichería Oyster Bar did not disappoint with the incredible Aguachile. I highly recommend coming here for that or any seafood dish that you're craving.
