Been a customer for many, many years. Never been late on a payment until they raise the rent and don't notify me or they tell me that they never got my check on time in the mail which is BULL, It sits in their PO Box delivered by the first of the month and I still get charged a late fee. This has happened multiple times! And going up on long time customers every 6 months is BAD ENOUGH but NOT NOTIFYING YOU CUSTOMERS with a letter or a phone call is poor business practice! When I call to ask why I'm being sent a $10 late fee request (but I never got the email of the rent increase) they say they sent an email for the rental increase! For the late fees you have charged me due to your incompetence, you owe me a LETTER in writing EACH AND EVERY SINGLE TIME that you are going up on my rent WITH and ADVANCED NOTICE! like all other landlords do! You don't do these typical things because you WANT FOR EVERYONE'S RENT TO BE LATE so that you can make several thousand MORE dollars, the same goes with you leaving mail in your PO BOX! My payment is not late if the check and envelope are dated way before the first of the month which I KNOW THEY ARE! Unless I spend $7.25 each and every month for a return receipt to prove that you get my payment, I have no proof other than you saying it was late! CROOK! I would not EVER rent from this company if your looking for storage and beware! They own multiple storage rental facilities around Canyon Lake, Hancock, New Braunfels, San Marcos all with different names! These people don't care if they cause your payment to be late. They will NOT for any reason reverse a late fee. Even when it is their fault or negligence. Moving out ASAP and will never recommend. This company is greedy and has no loyalty to long time renters and people who have paid them thousands of dollars over years of renting a storage unit. I was told by a girl on the phone in their rental office that I can pay the late fee and that they are not making enough off of the unit I rent because the storage facilities around the area are charging WAYYYY MORE than what I currently pay! Well GEE??? Did you ever think that maybe I should not have to pay current fees because I've been in the same damn unit of yours for 10 years???
